After the fall of the Old Sith Empire at the hands of the Fel Imperium, Galactic Republic and United Mandolorian Clans the Sith began to scatter and fracture into multiple splinter factions. It was obvious that the Sith needed not only a rallying cry, but a new Empire with a system vastly improved over the last. The New Order is a creation of not just one of the leading Sith of the Old Empire, but a small collection of them that rule over the Sith as a Triumvirate that is in turn overseen by a "Dark Emperor. Each of the three leaders understands that one of the downfalls of the Sith was the constant infighting and thus have brought the Dark Empire together to focus on survival and the prosperity of the Darkside rather than personal gain of power.
Much like Darth Krayt, the New Order is maintained under the impression that it will give purpose to the power that Sith take and does not rely on the philosophy that power is solely its own purpose. Every member of the Empire fights for the greater glory of the Triumvirate and the Dark Emperor and thus in turn they are fighting for the greater glory of the Sith and Empire as a whole. While still plagued with greed and the will to self-promote, measures have been taken to assure that such things do not interfere with the greater good of the Empire.

The Circle of Darkness:
The Circle of the Darkness is the inner circle of the Empire and is home to the Imperial Triumvirate. The Triumvirate is the ultimate power in the New Order and answer to no one aside from each other. In order to safeguard the Empire it is never disclosed to the rest of the Empire which of the Triumvirate members is actually the Emperor, instead it is universally understood that any of the Triumvirate members speak with the authority of the Emperor and are not to be disobeyed.
The Circle of Darkness is responsible for cooperatively deciding the appointments of Shadow Lords, movements of military and other high level government affairs. Collectively the Circle of Darkness can reject a master's subjugation and can overrule any decision made by the Conclave of Shadows or any other lead figures in the Empire.
The Dark Emperor
The Dark Emperor is the ultimate power in the Empire and the head of the Triumvirate. Unlike the other two members of the Triumvirate, the Dark Emperor has command over both the Combined Armies and the Combined Fleets as well as being able to commission projects and issue laws.
Despite having this seemingly unlimited power, the Emperor is limited by a number of things. The Dark Emperor does not have as extensive contact with either branch of the military as the other two Triumvirate members and thus the loyalties of the branches will tend to lean away from him. In order to balance this power, the Dark Emperor has sole command over the Imperial Honor Guard and the Stormtrooper Corp. The Honor Guard is loyal to only the Dark Emperor and are tasked with undertaking any mission given to them.
The Dark Chancellor
The Dark Chancellor is the Grand Commander of the Imperial Navy and is the member of the Triumvirate tasked with undertaking diplomatic missions and dealing with the everyday politics of the Empire. Whenever the Triumvirate collectively issue a law or when the Dark Emperor uses his executive powers to do such, the Dark Chancellor is the one to announce them to the New Order.
For all intents and purposes, the Dark Chancellor is effectively the most seen of the Dark Circle Members of the Empire as he/she deals with foreign affairs and the Empire's citizenry. In the event that talks with a foreign power go off of any scripted responses put together by the Triumvirate, the Dark Chancellor has the authority to make treaties and deals with foreign powers. However, he/she must be careful as his/her decisions affect the entire Empire and could risk his/her death.
The Dark Minister
The Dark Minister is the Grand Commander of the Imperial Army and is the member of the Triumvirate tasked with overseeing Intelligence Operations and dealing with economic strategy and technological breakthroughs. Whenever the Triumvirate issues a assassination order or commissions a spy op, The Dark Minister is the one who gives the news to the Ministry of Imperial Intelligence.
Naturally, due to the nature of his/her work, the Dark Minister is the least seen of the Triumvirate (outside of the Imperial Military). Being the most secretive, this Triumvirate member is also the most dangerous and is commonly looked on with great care and suspicion by the other two Triumvirate members.
The Conclave of Shadows:
The Conclave of Shadows is a council of Master who have been proclaimed Shadow Lords of the Empire. Each rules over a Sphere of Influence (also known as a Sector) of the Empire. As the Empire expands, more spheres may be added as needed. The Lords deal with the day to day operations of the Empire's sectors and planets and carry out the will of the Triumvirate in their respective sectors. Each Shadow is given authority to take independent action to defend their sector through defenses strategies or offensive preemptive strikes against a faction when a clear and present danger is identified.
As the Sectors grow, each Shadow will receive a special task from the Triumvirate that only their sector will carry out. Some may be tasked with building vaults to safeguard Sith Artifacts or staging the bulk of the Empire's Academies. This section will also expand as needed.

The Imperial Navy
The Imperial Navy is made up of the combined fleets of the Dark Empire, each fleet being run by a Admiral and the Navy itself falling under the jurisdiction of the Dark Chancellor. Without the navy, the Dark Empire would have a broken military and thus the imperial Navy is perhaps the most important branch of armed forces in the Dark Empire.
The Imperial Stormtrooper Corps
The Imperial Stormtroopers are backbone of the Imperial Armed Forces and fall under the Jurisdiction of the Dark Emperor. They are not as numerically strong as the Army or the Graug Horde but are better trained, equipped and prepared for conflict. Working in conjunction with the rest of the Imperial Armed Forces, the Stormtroopers act as the shocktroopers of the Empire and carry out everything from Special Operations to missions of terror.
The Imperial Army
The Imperial Army is a collection of conscripts and volunteers that fall under the jurisdiction of the Dark Minister. Those in the army are trained more poorly than the Stormtrooper Corp but are equipped better than the Graug Horde. They are the happy medium between the elite stormtroopers and the rampaging Graug Hordes. Commonly, the army is known for having the bulk of land based vehicles and artillery at its disposal and are usually contracted to support the more elite soldiers.
The Graug Horde
The Graug Horde are the forces brought to serve the Empire by Darth Vulcanus (AKA Krag) and numbers just under 80 billion strong. The Graug Horde is made up entirely of Graug warriors and their warbeasts, there are no other species allowed in this portion of the military. Their ranks are fairly simplistic and are not equal to that of a normal armed forces. To keep the chain of command simple, Graug are only subject to the command of Sith or high ranking NFUs. The Graug have the least training and are poorly armed, using berserk charge tactics and their numbers to overwhelm the enemy.
Foreign & Domestic Policy

The New Order keeps as much of itself hidden from the galaxy as it can, secrecy being its weapon. Even when the whole galaxy begins to realize its threat, the Empire will work to keep its inning workings under wraps. The Fringe is no longer seen as an enemy, as the goal of the New Order is not to further split the Sith but to become a beacon and rallying cry for all those who still believe in the cause. The Republic, CIS and Fel Imperium are all viewed as hostile states and relations with them would be strained at best, assuming that any of the parties would be open to relations at all. Of course there is also the question of the status of relations with organizations such as the One Sith, and the League of the Sith. While the New Order is open to relations with these splinter factions of Sith, and would fully support their joining of the Dark Empire, it is a matter of what relations the splinter factions offer back. It is protocol to assume hostility with any of the Sith splinter factions but technically no hostile state exists between the Dark Empire and these smaller factions at this time.
Domestically the Empire practices indentured servitude and slavery, but its policies of extermination have been lightened up to incorporate heavy propaganda and forced genetic modification. The Sith have realized that killing the undesirable species or using them as slaves was not as effective as utilizing them as advanced genetically modified cannon fodder or brainwashing them to the point where they would willingly drag themselves into slavery for the greater good of the Empire.
The Dark Order of the Sith

The Dark Order of the Sith is a soon-to-be sub faction of the Dark Empire where all business pertaining to the Sith and their trainings will be posted. The Dark Order of the Sith is an ancient order of dark side force users that dedicate themselves to the Rule of One and the eventual taking of the galaxy by the Sith. Infighting is discouraged and it is commonly preached that to kill the true enemy, the Sith must unite as one under the Circle of Darkness. Unlike the Sith Order in the previous Empire, the Dark Order of the Sith is much more secretive and less publicized than it was previously. Oaths of silence are sworn and each member of the Dark Order swears loyalty to the Circle of Darkness and the Dark Emperor.
The Dark Order of the Sith are responsible for much more than being soldiers and operations are frequently put in place to infiltrate enemy factions, create Sith weapons, discover technologies or invade planets. This Dark Order is much friendlier to the ideas of sabotage and supports the ideas of working in the shadows while letting the Empire take the full brunt of the galaxy's hatred. With one goal set in the minds of every Sith in the Order, the New Order hopes to one day bring Sith Dominance to the galaxy.

The New Order hopes to take the best parts of the Old Sith Empire and the great ideas I've heard from multiple other members and improve on them to make something unique and great. For convenience the New Order will be using the old forum that was once the Sith Empire page, just to make it that much easier for ex-Sith to jump in. The page is still in the works and the faction has some time to go before its live but things are moving along swiftly. I hope to see a lot of familiar faces around the new faction and i aim to please!
