The Holocron Auction Redux

@[member="Aedan Miles"]

"Im here on behalf of Void, and myself i guess. Void's money though." He looked up at the alert from the republic ship and shrugged. "Good thing what im betting on isnt stolen from the jedi."

Whatever was going on on Contruum was not known to the man on a impossible to trace signal, on a ship in the middle of nowhere actively sending a false telesponder code. His accounts where anonoymous, and his identity was a secret. The information he was sending wasn't even going to Contruum, so he had no idea as to the Republic's sudden appearance.

Selena Halcyon, Jedi Master and Shadow, was already on the ground. The political show was in space with a fleet, however, expectation was that they would not comply. As such, local police forces were somewhat being rallied to the auction site, additionally Republic soldiers were also on the ground. Not in large numbers but in the variety of elite soldiers. Also, of course there was the presence of the Jedi. Yes, an element of the council was standing against this operation, but Selena was a servant of justice in the galaxy and the Republic was clearly in the right here. The selling of illegally acquired and dangerous goods so close to Republic space could not be left unwatched.

She and a contingent of others waited for the response of the auction house. What they said would determine her course of action.

The announcement was a bit of a surprise to Sargon, and perhaps more so disconcerting because this was a bit of a no man's land as far as he understood the map. The simplest process was to simply sit back, and wait to see what happened. He had a minor complication though as he'd brought the Defender to the meeting. The Permanence class battleship was simply in orbit, but could have been an incident. Opening a secure holo channel to it

::Captain Tolk, lets not make this an incident announce your intentions to move to another system to the Republic. Keep your shields offline, and no sudden movements. Whatever is going on they are rather jumpy, and I don't want an incident.::

Opening a second channel to Grand Admiral Karrde he gave her an update on the situation. It was going to be one hell of a day.

Due to the fact that the signals were not exactly being sent to Contruum...and that the Grand Marshal was bidding from an encrypted network, one of the greatest in the Galaxy compliments of the Bothan Spy Network; far, far, away...he was blissfully ignorant of the fact that the Republic had appeared and were making demands of the Auction House. In fact, he was so woefully unaware, and his tracks were so sufficiently covered, that he made a new bid without fear!
  • Lot P - 20 million credits

Lot O: 15 million credits, through the Galactic Republic fund set up for Jedi artifacts.

He could feel the Republic forces amassing, and he simply sat there. Wraith was under orders to be there per @Je'gan Olra'en, in the attempt of peacefully gaining what was lost. Whatever happened next, he didn't know, he just hoped the holocron was restore to the Order.

((Just wanted to make sure this was noticed by the Republic people))
Domino said:
Domino rather liked grand ol' places with genteel feelings and had actually shown up to the house in person. Which wasn't to say she had come alone. In the streets surrounding the building an entire mechanized division of the Black Sun Guard lounged next to their machines or barricades. Smoking and chatting or ordering treats from the surrounding shops.
Her forces would be polite yet stand firm. They were not in Republic space so Republic warrants weren't legal. They would do their best to stall any 'uninvited' military or police force until their boss told them otherwise, probably once the auction was over and things were settled.

Inside the house, a slight frown marred the Vigo's serene expression. Someone had tried to out bid her, twice.
Lot R- 1 Phoenix-Class Destroyer, maintenance for life in the Sun's yards, a full small-craft compliment, and 10 million credits.

Diana stood next to Selena Halcyon, a well renown Master within the Jedi order. A sword sat upon her back and two lightsabers on her hips. She wore combat gear isntead of her regular finely tuned robes. With her pale almost shinning new eyes she scanned the crowd of soldiers and police that were now appearing all around them.

She smiled slightly, this was a good thing. They were here against the wishes of certain elements of the council, but that didn't matter to her. She was Kiffar, and that meant that memories were precious to her, what had been stolen from Tython had been exactly that, memories. Holocrons and artifacts that were ancient beyond all reason, that was what had been taken. Diana thought of this as abhorrent, and if there was a chance to get it back...then she would be there to help.

She smiled slightly at the Jedi Master, ready to do her part.

Juthan looked around the auction house and sat down in the chair nearby, waving over @[member="Aedan Miles"]. "Looked like the republic wants a cut of the fun, looks like this is gonna be interesting." He looked down from the balcony area they had been residing in and overlooking the ground below. It was amusing the Republic were pitiful to do this, disrupting a perfectly civil auction all for their stolen items, like a child who lost his toy.

Aedan merely tilted his head at the announcement and sighed keying his com once. The comlink he keyed was directly connected to his armada who were just outside of range to be sensed and well within range to reach there at a moments notice. It also notified his 24 Cragmoloid bodyguards that they may have guests soon. Rather uninvited guests who may like the netting of a war criminal. If things got sketchy Aedan had 3 plans in placed.
