Immaculate
It was chaos. Doors opened. Swaths of prisoners moved out, a guttering of hope in their eyes. Panic. Confusion. Soph raised her voice. "That way! Follow the others. My name is Sophelia and we're here to get you out!" Worried eyes briefly dragged on Isar as he came from around a corner. He looked like he'd seen a ghost.
'What?'
But her attention shifted just as quickly as a young girl about her age stumbled forward. Soph quickly wrapped an arm around her too-thin waist and began tugging her along with the throngs of others. Reaching deep in the force, she projected a wave of force valor to the others. The prisoners.
Isar du Vain
Fiona Tierney
She couldn't push it to
Connel Vanagor
. She couldn't reach that far.
The Force swept outward from her in a quiet wave, catching the fleeing prisoners before exhaustion could overtake them. Heavy legs found new strength. Panicked breaths steadied. Fear still lingered, but not enough to stop them. Their pace quickened as though some invisible weight had finally been lifted from their hunched and narrow shoulders.
The sounds of those hounds from
Varin Mortifer
echoed through the corridors of the prison as they made their way back to the ship. Blast door after blast door. Soph's blood chilled but she maintained her concentration. Knowing she would've felt even more trepidation had it not been for the valor. Not been for that determination to save these people. To do something more than she'd been able to do before.
When the doors opened on one
Kassim Veyr
, he was in danger of being trampled. "Fiona - can you deal with that?" Soph shuffled left with the flow of people and kept going. Sensing something worse ahead. She silently urged the wave of valor forward - enough to part the bottleneck of prisoners as she broke free of the crowd and into the hanger.
Soph gently slipped the weight of the girl she'd been helping to another. Fingers withdrew the beskar baton from her waist - the column extending into a staff. She pointed it at the golden armored God standing between herself and their ship. A threat and a promise.
"Don't you think you've done enough? Hurt enough? Leave them alone." Masked in a sense of false bravado hanging on by a thread, she stepped forward. Putting herself between the prisoners and the Golden Emperor of the Sith Covenant. A pulse of directed force light erupted from her toward
Meliant
, blinding and burning in nature.
