It should be noted that this initial thread is open for everyone to get any story beats and preparatory RP going before the actual tournament goes live! It'll accompany the actual duel threads through this week and into the next as well.

Whether it's fighters talking to each other, sponsors hyping up their sponsored contenders, first attempts to bribe, cheat, or sabotage the competition, or just plain old fainting over the magnitude of the occasion! Feel free to jump in!

"Kaggath Tournament... Ruusan... 10,000 credits to enter?"

He looked through his pockets. He just barely had enough to cover the entrance fee, but the prospect of testing his training against such powerful foes had him very, very interested...

He set his sights for the planet Ruusan with his inquisitor lightsaber replica in hand. There, he would hunt...

(OOC: Giving Kudau a backstory/personality makeover to make him more hunter like, but I'd love for him to go bloodthirsty in a place like this!)

That stubborn slug is more important to me than his stupid, precious honor or my credits
