Charzon knew that, no matter what she could have to say, she had to come clean, because she knew that SJ justice and due process would mean that she couldn't be executed, unlike the Mandalorians or the Sith, where she would have been killed no matter what, given the crimes she has committed. So she faces [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and [member="Coci Heavenshield"] one last time, crying out in tears, even though she made her guilty plea while remaining cordial at all times, despite the anger of the attendees. What she was about to say would have had no bearing on the sentencing, due to their irrelevance to the trial, so she kept these declarations she's about to make for after the sentence has been handed down.
"While I accept this fate the Force saw fit to hand me down, there is one point that needs to be brought up that carries implications for the future of the Silver Jedi Order: since my crimes on Korriban happened, donations to the Order are down to the point where the threat of the Order not even being able to carry out its operations looms large. I believe that you're not acknowledging that, while the Order has given much to its Jedi, and to the brave and loyal NFUs that serve and die in its service, they have a duty towards the Order that extend also to the financial aspect, especially if they run corporations with a significant chunk of its business being conducted in Silver Jedi space. The Silver Jedi financial mismanagement must be corrected in short order. Five years before Korriban, I accepted to take part in a raid on Kuat Drive Yards' orbital facility that was an act of corporate warfare which was, at the time, suspected of being a covert Silver Sanctum attack. My plan to put the Order's finances back in a stable condition is actually pretty straightforward. Since some Silver Jedi own and run corporations, especially one [member="Matsu Ike"], and also [member="Sor-Jan Xantha"], who run the largest two corporations owned by Silver Jedi members, I call for special taxes to be levied on Silver Jedi-owned corporations in six brackets, with larger corporations paying accordingly higher tax rates. These taxes are to be levied until the donations return back to normal. Then again, they may never return back to their pre-Korriban levels, but tax rates need to be adjusted in accordance to the donation levels. Unfortunately I'm aware that such a fiscal plan may cause some of the business-owning Jedi to fall to the dark side for the purposes of tax evasion"
Jessica was excommunicated because of Charzon's crimes, more than because of any real corporate wrongdoing on her part. But she feels the time would not be ripe for her to even mention how Jessica was briefly a Silver Jedi, and ran Ringovinda StarYards after Korriban happened, but prior to her excommunication, nor how Catria, Jessica or even herself held a title that was never officially recognized by the Silver Jedi. The truth, however, was that very few Silver Jedi actually ran and owned corporations. [member="Audren Sykes"] was one of them, and according to Charzon's scheme, his corporation would be taxed on the second bracket out of six; there was no one, to her knowledge being taxed on the fifth bracket according to that scheme, while Sasori Research would be the only one taxed on the highest bracket. And, from the standpoint of Ringovinda StarYards, was Ringo Vinda a SJ world, that corporation would be taxed on the fourth bracket.
