IC Heirarchy:

• Head of State: At the head of the Empire, sits the Eternal Emperor, who wields absolute power over all other branches of the Empire and has the right to veto any decision made by the other state institutions, or unilaterally create new legislation via Imperial Decree.
• Executive: As a military dictatorship, the executive branch of the government consists of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, more commonly and officially known as Strategic Command, or StratCom.
  - Overlord:The Overlord takes the role of the Emperor's right hand, effectively functioning as the lieutenant of the monarch and the second in command, acting as regent of the Empire, should the Emperor be incapacitated.
  • Overseer of the Armed Forces: The Overseer of the Armed Forces is the official tasked with leading, organizing and outfitting the Eternal Army.
  • Overseer of the Office of Finances: Occupying a highly crucial role within Strategic Command, the Overseer of the Office of Finances is responsible for managing the economy and finances of the Eternal Empire.
  • Overseer of the Supreme Court: The Overseer of the Supreme Court is tasked with organizing and leading the judicial branch of the Eternal Empire, appointing and dismissing judges and making decisions concerning the judiciary.
  • Overseer of the Committee for Public Works: The Overseer of the Commission of Public Works handles education and healthcare within the Empire, along with infrastructure and development, insuring that these departments operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Overseer of the Intelligence Committee: A far less conspicuous, but no less important role, is that of the Overseer of the Intelligence Committee, who is responsible for handling tasks which require discression. The Overseer of the Intelligence Committee is in charge of the Empire's espionage, assassination and propaganda departments.
• Legislature: Composed of a mixture of elected officials, high ranking nobles and representatives of the military, the Imperial Assembly is, effectively, the Senate of the Eternal Empire. It is a unicameral body representing the various baronies, administrative districts and military governorates of the nation and is the legislative entity within the Eternal Empire. Convening periodically, itt assigns budgets, passes or repeals laws, establishes tax policies throughout the Empire and generally serves as the bureaucracy beneath Strategic Command.

Description: The Eternal Empire is a totalitarian, military dictatorship headquartered on the planet Kalidan, a harsh, unforgiving world devastated by civil war which took place during the days of the Gulag Plague, condemning the planet to suffer an apocalyptic nuclear winter which continues to this day, a planet which has given birth to a strict, militaristic, highly regimented culture and a totalitarian regime which many consider even worse and more evil than the First Order which preceded it, that now seeks to expand its dominion over the nearby systems and eventually, the Unknown Regions and beyond.

Ruled by a powerful and enigmatic Sith Lord who considers himself the successor to the ancient Emperor Valkorion’s legacy by right of ideology and conquest, along with a mysterious secret society which follows the teachings of Darth Traya and covertly controls the Empire’s institutions, the Eternal Empire has a hidden agenda to destroy the Force itself and reshape the galaxy into its ideal version of it, a galaxy where the very concepts of peace, freedom and democracy have been forever erased from the minds of its inhabitants.

Proclaiming its superiority over all other cultures and driven by the idea that the hardships it endured, have granted it a manifest destiny to dominate and conquer any worlds it sees fit, it has amassed armies of disciplined, well-trained, fanatical soldiers with which to impose its vision of merciless natural selection, military dictatorship and eternal, never-ending war upon the rest of the galaxy.

Opposing this totalitarian regime, is a growing band of rebels, malcontents, Jedi knights and democracy advocates who remember well the days when the First Order dominated this part of the galaxy and wish to preserve the Unknown Regions' newfound freedom by preventing the rise of yet another Imperial power in this troubled part of the galaxy, especially one such as the Eternal Empire, who's ideology openly rejects the notion of peace, considers the word “civilian” to be an insult and publicly advertises its atrocities.

On the background of this growing conflict and in the wake of the devastation left behind in the wake of the First Order's destruction at the hands of the Ssi-Ruuvi, lawlessness has spread like wildfire and now the Black Sun, a powerful and ruthless criminal organization with roots in Hutt Space, seeks to expand its operations into this new and lucrative part of the galaxy, uninterested in the different ideologies and views of the other two groups, but eager to profit from their conflict and the misery of the Unknown Regions' inhabitants.

The Pitch: The Eternal Empire is a faction focused on exploring the complex themes, intricate stories and tragedies emerging from the conflict between three internal groups, as well as their interactions with the galaxy at large, giving a high level of attention to narrative integrity, cohesive, meaningful character development and expansive worldbuilding, amassing a vast amount of lore since our founding and aiming to develop it further by exploring themes specific to the hardships and politics of the Unknown Regions, in the aftermath of the First Order’s devastating conflict with the Ssi-Ruuvi.

The escalating conflicts between the Imperial loyalists and the rebels who oppose them, as well as the growing influence of the Black Sun criminal organization and the plots and schemes arising from the relationship between the loyalist Imperial heartland worlds and the planets of the occupied territories, are intended to also carry over into our interactions with other factions.
