Ever since the failed Mandalorian Liberation of Mandalore, the Sith Empire had been gathering forces in preparation for a counter-assault on the fortress world of Wayland. Impromptu capital of the Network terrorists, it had been reinforced into a heavily defended redoubt by the rogue Mandalorian warlord Kaine Australis. To take such a world would require a full-scale assault, the likes of which have been rarely replicated in the galaxy of the modern era.​

But for the Emperor of the Sith, no measure is too extreme to root out the former Warmaster of the Mandalorian Clans.​

War now comes to Wayland and with it the fury of the Sith entire.​
