- The Black Hand (Primary Ability): Use of The Force enables one to project a field of total darkness up to 3 meters (9 ft) from their current position. This ability is contained to the ring itself, and does not grant this ability if not wearing the ring.
- The Fade (Passive Ability): The ring absorbs any Force Presence of the one wearing it, effectively concealing them from detection.
- Nether-woven (Passive Ability): Improves the wearer's defenses & Force Abilities while interacting with The Nether.
- Anyone caught in the field may be rendered completely blind.
- May not be blocked, negated, or defended against except by a Force-Nullifying field or ability
- Primary Ability lasts as long as the wearer focuses on maintaining it.
- The field of darkness produced by the ring moves with the wearer.
