Spear is perhaps the most peculiar member of the HPI Consortium. They are not specifically a company, or at least not in the literal sense, but rather a mini-state, a city where much can be found. It is a completely independent city-state, which also functions an educational institution. Most of their activities have a well-known and open market, they are available to anyone.

The most famous service they offer is teaching techniques, so officially and publicly, they are considered the “institution” that trains the Eternal Empire’s Force users. They serve as the public face of the Empire's stance on the Force, as the Wardens of the Shroud are a secret organization, and serve to further conceal the activities and existence of the secret society and give the Empire the ability to discredit the concerns of other nations as baseless conspiracy theories.

Their second most important function is that of a cultural and educational hub, as well as a center for research and technological development. They have a huge library that belongs to their university. Various sciences are taught here. Chemistry, biology, genetics, history, literature, theology, philosophy, and more could be listed. University graduates can work for the company, the cybernetic, bioengineering or the archaeology department.

Most of their revenue comes from cybernetic and bioengineering research and sales, but the university is also a nice source of revenue. The leadership may have a very strange perception, yet they are well respected within the HPI Consortium and the Eternal Empire.

Of course, like everything has two sides, given that one of the leaders is a Sith Lord, they also secretly deal with Alchemy and Sorcery, but this is a secret service offered only to a very select and private group of clients

Like the HPI Consortium, Spear was not built overnight, it gained its current scale and form not in decades, but through centuries of development. Unlike other companies in the Empire, the leaders were outsiders and had a worldview that was different from what would be considered the norm. They first came to Nelvaan because of the culture, then they founded a university and a martial arts school, later it became an academy for Force Users.

They later joined the HPI Consortium, however, they, unlike other companies, did not pursue a policy of aggressive expansion and rapid growth, choosing to maintain their operations on a single planet, allowing them to keep a tighter control over their organization without the bureaucratic bloat of an interstellar corporation, focusing on quality over quantity. Of course, the Empire's exodus greatly affected the organization.

It was then that they relocated their headquarters to the planet Duatiel, after it had already been annexed by the Eternal Empire. It was here that Spear was rebuilt, which has been under construction ever since, but is now fully operational. Their base of operations is typically self-sufficient and their employees and students are often also joined by their families.

Spear is led by three people, Dragon, a powerful Jedi Knight, Grey, neutral path leader, Beast, the only female member. And the name of the third leader may be familiar from the inner circle of Nite, Nite, who is also an Archon of the Primyn Group and a Sith Lord. The trio has a better relationship with Ingrid’s mother rather than Ingrid herself, as they are in the same age group as the older woman.

The three of them may be on different paths, yet their respect for each other is great and they trust each other perfectly, making them excellent partners.

As CEO of HPI Consortium, Ingrid also has a full access and knowledge about the operations of Spear.
