- Scientific methods or alchemy/Force alchemy can be used to make any material from it, which can be used for clothes, armour, construction, spaceships, and artefacts. If necessary, it can be made into easily destructible material, if necessary, it will be very strong and solid materials. - The compound is made from materials found in the Netherworld with a combination of different scientific / alchemist (traditional mode) methods and Force Alchemy. The compound gains nothing from Force Alchemy, it has only a role in the design / transformation process.
- The base compound will be a bluish, slightly bluish light-like substance, most resembling liquid mercury. All this can be further developed with a combination of additional science / alchemist (traditional mode) and Force Alchemy.
- Further transformations can create textile-like material, crystals, wood-like material, stones, metals, skins, etc. from the material. Essentially any material can be reshaped from the compound.
- If necessary, it can be made into easily destructible material, if necessary, it will be very strong and solid materials. At the end of the design, the feel of the finished material will be the same as the makers intended (wood, paper, stone, metal, etc.)
- And thanks to these, it can use it for essentially anything it might need, construction, art, combat, science, everyday stuff and so on.
- Estrian is a dual nature compound. At Netherworld and beyond, it will have a different weight and will provide more or less protection against different things by default depending on where it will be used.
- Versatility: With the proper method, anything can be formed from the material, be it leather, textile, crystal, mineral, metal, paper, etc. Thanks to this, it can be used for really anything.
- High Resistance: Nether Compound provides protection against a lot of things like energy based attacks, kinetic attacks, environmental effects. It also provides protection against Force in the Netherworld, and EMP / Ion attacks outside of the Nether.
- Dual-nature: Both an advantage and a disadvantage. In the Netherworld and beyond, compounds have different properties, different weight, and resistance changes in some places.
- It's Hard to Make: Without the knowledge of the proper alchemist, technological and Force Alchemist, no one will be able to create the Nether Compound or any other material from it. In the hands of experts, it’s just a bluish mercury-like substance they can’t handle. During the process, the compound does not acquire any special features (except see above), any extra feature requires further processes.
- Sonic Attacks: The Estrian is protected against many things, but cannot be resistant to everything. One such effect is sonic-based attacks. The material has very little resistance to this.
- Exotic Weapons: The compound has only a small protection against non-average but rare or exotic weapons. Such as the lightsabers or disruptor weapons. Protection against these is minimal and negligible.

Estrian, which most people only call Nether Compound, but in Netherworld it has countless other names, including Netherweave. A lot of people believe that there is no life or nothing in the afterlife, it is a huge mistake, and those who live there also need materials to build with, to make things or just simply make and wear dresses.
The Valkyrja and thus the Fjölkyngi Smiðr Guild have long been looking for material with which they can make essentially everything. The clans operating in their society worked together for a long time to create this. The whole process may seem mystical, but it is to a much greater extent science.
The materials in Netherworld were collected and dismantled to the molecular level, where new engineering knowledge was used to form new material from the molecules. It is also essentially traditional alchemy (in an older wording) to create a new material(s) from existing material(s). In some places, it was also necessary to use Force Alchemy to make the new material more durable and stable, but nothing extra features came from it.
The new material obtained, Estrian, is a compound that can be very easily converted and formed with proper technological knowledge (and some Force Alchemy) into essentially anything. The big disadvantage of the one is that Force and alchemical knowledge are absolutely necessary for its forming and shaping, and therefore the circle of users is probably very limited.
