DESCRIPTION
This naturally occurring crystal is native to Lao-mon, where it has been harvested by the native Shi'ido for centuries. While its most common modern usage is in jewelry, it has various other uses. When used as a focusing crystal, nightstone bends light by generating an electromagnetic field, creating a "darkness field" in the immediate vicinity. The Shi'ido would use it to confuse the predators of their homeworld, as well as disorient sentient foes.
