- It is protected from ion damage and runs very smoothly.
- The safety harness is only meant to keep the pilot from flying out of the pod during stops or turns and will not provide any protection upon crashing.
- Since the pod is a repurposed swoop, the pilot's body is not shielded from any potential fire from the sides (and back to a lesser degree).
The Te'r Rekr is a custom Mandalorian podracer that sports a bod made from a modified Balutar-class Mandalorian swoop. Made from highly sturdy materials, the racer itself is likely to survive any crash in which it might be involved, drastically cutting down of repair costs. However, the pilot isn't as well protected, being mainly designed for Mandalorian racers who will likely race in their armor. The outside of the racer has a beautiful gold Ve'vut Beskar plating.
