DESCRIPTION
Kyr'bes Buy'ce is Sahan Dragr's personal forge company, workshop network, and equipment-development concern. Originally established on Kestri as a Mandalorian-exclusive answer to Sahan's growing need for reliable in-house armor, weapons, and field equipment modifications, the company has since evolved into a largely automated mobile forge system attached to Sahan, Clan Dragr, and the Iron Covenant.
The company still maintains its original roots beneath the Temple of Javarr and the Forge of Javarr on Kestri, where its earliest dedicated fabrication infrastructure replaced the much smaller Dragr Forgeworks. That Kestri facility remains an important fixed site, archive, forge-laboratory, and production fallback. In practice, however, Kyr'bes Buy'ce is now most commonly found wherever the Mythos Fleet operates.
Sahan's personal workshop aboard the Ironclad serves as the company's active headquarters and primary design space. From there, he can repair, modify, test, or prototype equipment without needing to return to a planetary facility. Additional automated workshops and fabrication spaces are distributed through the Mythos Yards sites, allowing larger projects, shipboard support work, armor maintenance, component fabrication, and fleet-scale repair efforts to be handled from within the Iron Covenant's mobile infrastructure.
Despite being listed as a corporation, Kyr'bes Buy'ce is not a conventional staffed business. Other than Sahan Dragr himself, its operations are almost entirely automated. Droids, droid brains, forge intelligences, automated foundries, repair arms, diagnostic systems, and AI-managed production routines handle most labor, logistics, monitoring, and maintenance. Organic employees are not a normal part of the company structure, which allows Sahan to keep production tightly controlled, secure, and personally accountable.
The company's primary focus is Mandalorian equipment. This includes beskar'gam components, sidearms, melee weapons, specialist utilities, armor electronics, sealed systems, droid-linked hardware, and prototype refits for Sahan's personal use or for trusted Mandalorian allies. While its facilities are capable of broader fabrication work, Kyr'bes Buy'ce remains intentionally narrow in purpose: it exists to build, improve, and maintain equipment for Mandalorians Sahan trusts, especially those connected to Clan Dragr and the Iron Covenant.
RATIONALE
Sahan Dragr created Kyr'bes Buy'ce because he was tired of relying on outside manufacturers whenever he needed equipment modified, repaired, or built to his standards. He had often gone to Force-Tech and other advanced manufacturers, but he was concerned that outside loyalties, shifting politics, or disrupted supply chains might one day leave him and his people without reliable support.
To avoid that weakness, Sahan founded Kyr'bes Buy'ce alongside ARTUS the Forgemind, building an expansive automated forge-factory below the Temple of Javarr on Kestri. The company replaced the smaller Dragr Forgeworks and gave Sahan a dedicated base for Mandalorian equipment development.
As Sahan's role changed from independent Mandalorian craftsman to Clan Dragr Forgemaster and Iron Covenant-aligned builder, Kyr'bes Buy'ce changed with him. The Kestri facility remained its origin point, but the company's heart moved into the Mythos Fleet. The Ironclad became Sahan's personal mobile forge, while the Mythos Yards sites gave the company access to larger automated workshops, fabrication bays, and repair infrastructure.
Today, Kyr'bes Buy'ce is best understood as Sahan Dragr's automated forge network: born on Kestri, carried by the Ironclad, and expanded through the Mythos Fleet. It exists so that Sahan and those under his protection never have to depend entirely on outsiders for the tools they need to survive, fight, build, and endure.
