SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Float Like A Butterfly: Geared towards stealth movement, an infiltrator can quickly position themselves somewhere unexpected while searching out the physical vulnerabilities in computer and electronic systems.
WEAKNESSES
  • Sting Like A Bee: A lack of armor mounted weaponry compared to more combat-oriented armatures can place an unwary operative at a distinct disadvantage.
  • EMP/Ion: Crammed with advanced computing and slicing systems, the Tamra Maew is susceptible to having them forcibly disabled by such effects until they can reboot or, in extreme cases, be repaired.
DESCRIPTION
The Tamra Maew (Good Luck Cat) Armor is one of Chi’s earlier creations after she figured she’d gotten the knack for inventing down. It was meant as the first real test of her abilities. Designed around infiltration and slicing rather than direct confrontation, this armor utilizes a myriad of advanced features catering to the bypassing or breaking of security systems including shields, locks, terminal and system security. Including a specialized droid brain located in the tail that can be detached and left to provide a remote hard-link into a hack either in progress or to provide system access after the slicer has moved away via the dataport in its tip. The tail can also act as a natural tail does to increase the wearer’s acrobatics, especially during zero-gravity maneuvers while taking subconscious direction from the armor’s nuro-link.

Also capable of taking neural input or more standard controls is the Tensai droid brain that manages much of the Tamra Maew’s systems. Which was left with a very basic personality so it could develop on its own or be overwritten and play host to an existing computerized assistant. It’s what manages the flow of information from the plethora of sensors and other systems to the user to prevent information overload while also managing the active defense systems and ECM suite, bringing them against threats faster than most organic users would be able to react should the assistant be authorized to do so. Backing up the armor’s Dream Sight and other sensors, are a quartet of belt-mounted IBIS micro-probe droids for scouting or guard duties. Best to keep one’s back covered after all.
