Now things were starting to warm up along the Southern Systems Business Bazaar Expo. The third auction featured known shipwrights across the galaxy. Those interested in the latest and great deals with various starships this was the auction to go to!

Along the starship vendor sector on one of the massive docking rings, the various ships and components were available to view.

From Aurora Industries, Incom, Corellian Engineering Corporation, and even Arceneau Trade with Haven shipyards, there were many interesting ships that could be shopped around.

As the lifelike holographic displays dazzled the mind, the new auction was live!

Auction Rules

This auction will run for 48 hours only. This auction will close at 10:00 A.M. EST May 19, 2018

• An auction's end time must be set when the auction begins.
• Bids must increase by reasonable increments. Large jumps may be subject to refusal.
• Minimum bid accepted for items up to 999,000 credits is 100.
• Minimum bid accepted for items over 1,000,000 credits is 1,000.
• Bids of goods, services, favors, etc. will be taken as legitimate bids and may receive preference over monetary bids, per the seller's prerogative.
• No outrageous bids.
• Like a merchant in the Marketplace, an auctioneer is responsible for verifying that bidders can afford their bids. Auctioneers can ignore bids at their discretion if they feel a bidder cannot afford to pay dubious bids.
• Bidders who feel their bid was unfairly ignored can appeal to RPJs and/or Company Factory Judges for help.
• Bidders who spam, attack other bidders, or generally make themselves a nuisance to the bidding in general will be asked to leave. Continued behavior after a polite warning will be reported to SWRP: Chaos RPJs.
• Standard SWRP: Chaos Rules are in effect at all times. Failure to comply with these rules will warrant RPJ and/or Admin action upon the individual(s) responsible.
• For any restricted materials, holocrons, or artifacts, please link the thread where you acquired the item into the auction.

Hmmm of all the things offered as she looked over it. She had a few of them, the isotope five reactors were good... though Danger was one fo the few others who had worked with quintessence as she recalled from an old report. The remnant of the one sith, something she wanted to study for its engineering though was worth it. Two bars of aurodium should be able to handle it in her opinion but just to be safe. One of the durindfire gems which danger no doubt had experience for its value. "Maybe later some of the others" She was not certain but the washburn was not exactly a terible model of ship to use and she liked its design.. it was shiny.

 

[Aeri Vyn]

Aeri was mainly handling the business with Aurum Saacs Bank and reviewing how the auctions were going along. The auctions were always interesting, but most had a tendency to turn out for high tech items.

That and the mystery auction.

The Zeltron was currently reviewing the submissions for that exact auction itself. It was going to be an interesting list that is for sure. A small smile crept over her crimson lips.

Now to see how this auction went. As soon as it was over, the Mystery auction would unfold.

"Yes, both of them." The knight assured.

"And what will we offer in exchange?"

The knight paused for a moment, but the answer came immediately.

"Offer them a single Mephirium. It's a well armed ship about worth the price, and something of a rarity much as the Maladies are. That will be our opening bid."

The request was sent to the auction shortly thereafter, with an offer of a singular refurbished Mephirium class battlecruiser being forwarded to the auctioneers.

Vulpesen didn't know why he was here. He hated mechanical things. He hated flying, and the only reason he even owned a personal ship, was because you couldn't walk from planet to planet. Still, he could admire the craftsmanship of the ships that were displayed around them, each one showing off their best to the public in a bid to be bidded for. One of his men had apparently heard a rumor of something to come, and had tipped off the valde in hopes of getting a raise or promotion. Risky gambit considering that he might get fired for wasting the sovereign of Veradune's time.

His finger flicked across the datapad, looking over the ships in its log. Nope... nope... nope... no- His eyes widened at one of the models on his screen. It was a familiar make, looking almost exactly like the one he had left at the space port. Except this one was shinier. He peered down the list of specs, his lips curling into a smile the further and further down he got. Maybe it was his inexperience with such things, but by what he could see, this thing was loaded with bells and whistles. just enough to make the difference. Just enough to let him live another day. Still, he knew that the SSB was a popular auction, and that things could get out of hand. And while he had more than enough credits to spare, he figured it would be best to test the waters and see what he was up against.

"Gorram cold meds. I'm so loopy I didn't even bid." He eyed [member="Vulpesen"], who'd just bid on the same lot. "I'll put up discounted access to the SCINTEL interdiction projector if CEC wants to use it in a ship line. Why not."

A brow rose as almost immediately a bid popped up following his own. "Waters may be hot..." Letting out a small sigh, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a commlink. "Just once, i'd like these things to go well and easy. I see a shiny ship, I buy a shiny ship. I pay credits, they pay credits. Now here I am looking at the price of parts." Setting in the earpiece he turned it on, to be greeted by the voice of his mercantile advisor.

"Hello sir. Finding some trouble?"

"Maybe a bit. What can you tell me about that bid? How much is it worth?"

"'More than yours sir." Vulpesen grumbled a bit at that response. Economists, never with a straight answer. Clicking off the com, he looked over at [member="Jorus Merrill"] and set to work with a message. Truth was, he wanted that ship. He had credits to spend, but he had rules. Take what you need. As such, he'd hold off bidding for now, at least to avoid stirring the pot.
Sir, it has come to my attention that you and I both want the same thing, and not in the good way. Seeing as you appear to be one man, I'm not sure what use three ships are to you, and as such, I'm more than willing to drop all attempts to outbid you, granted that I am allowed to purchase one of these ships from you.

Fiolette had been on the tram when she noticed the next auctions and as she flicked through on her terminal, she saw something that caught her attention and typed out her bid. $250,000 credits on Lot L.

Allana paused thinking it over.

It was not the expense that gave her pause. It was not the item in question that gave her pause. It was not even her forward creative yet aggressive tactical thinking. It was the hypothetical scenario if the Sith ever did find their way back into the Mists. If the Hapen Royal Navy had to fall back into a long planned contingency plan.

There were many places to hide within the Transitory Mists. There were many labyrinths like paths through the pink mists. Over the many years pirates have used these paths. The Royal Navy on a number of occasions had to enter because of pirates. That is why the Hapen Royal Navy had taken time to map out these hidden paths.

It was a strategic advantage. It meant however invaded would pay even a higher price than the losses they would take just trying to fight their way into the Mists. Allana and the Hapen Navy could hold off for a long time using hit and run tactics using the Mists labyrinth as cover.

Looking down at the (Lot P) Lwhekk Alpeh-class Manufacturing Ship…. Allana made the opening bid of 100,000 credits.

If she could get it, it could mean in the potential situation she was thinking of? That she and her people could use this mobile factory platform to fight even longer.

Grinning widely, Vulpesen leaned back in his seat. "Seems like its might just be my lucky day afterall." Why go through all the hassle of bumping prices, insulting others, and making enemies? Business was so much easier when a mutual understanding could be made. He clicked into his comlink. "Remind me to give Freserin a raise. He did good." Having issued out the reminder for later, the Zorren made one final message to his now ex-rival bidder.

He sneezed so hard he threw out his neck, and began rubbing the kink in his spine. Used tissues piled up.

Matsu was loking at it and well she had plenty in terms of credits and resources. Though giving Danger something that she might want to use would be the real challenge. While she had asmall grin on her face the jedi master went through a few things that might be appealing more to Danger. She did look at a few of the other things being bid on and the queen mother was here as well. and Jorus... even Vulpesen had managed to come and check things out before she tapped the screen and added a few more. Nova crystals were a nice item to trade around for a healthy dose of credits and had other functions. SOmething for her to have on a luxury world with a celeste.

Another day, another auction. Today, it would seem, was his lucky day. The Aurora Industries items were just what he needed. Just what he had been looking for.

With them, he would be able to shunt a personal project into its next phase... and he might just be able to do so at a bargain, too.

Today was Zeke's day. He had been watching the auctions over the last few days and outside of Gil's purchase, which went surprisingly well, MandalMotors hadn't purchased much. Today though ATC had put something very interesting up for bid. He tapped a few buttons on the pad given by the auction staff.

Brad leaned partially forward out of his seat. He was content sitting towards the back of the room table like booth. He was for the vast majority of the auction to just sit back and have a drink. This year’s he came himself instead of sending someone to represent his law firm on took some private time off from CorSec.

Brad began to type up a bid using the wristband. 50,000 on Lot C

After typing in his bid the CorSec Captain sat back with his drink in hand.

Auctions were too rich for her blood. The redhead was here trying to scrap up an LL-1500 Freighter on the cheap. If she was dropping one hundred thousands worth of credits it better come with a private island at this point. Yet when she had poked her head into one currently ongoing auction she caught the features of one [member="Brad Solo"] . What was Bradley doing here? Suddenly had an itch to spend his millions of credits?


Quietly she entered the room and flopped into the seat next to Brad. Grin shot in his direction as she took his drink and had a sip of the liquid before handing it back.


"Bradley!Small universe!" Voice was kept to a near-whisper. "Lot C? Really? Whatcha building?"
