- Accessibility: While the area is located near the mountains, and sheltered by the forests of Kashyyyk, it is still fairly easy to find. It can be reached by ship, a rather long mountain hike, or a walk through the woods. Generally open to light-sided Jedi. The common areas in and around the temple are open to visitors, though each visitor is required to check in at the lobby/greeting center first. Closed areas like the dormitories and library/archives are normally only accessible by members of the Silver Concord, or by visitors with explicit permission.
- Description: Silver Rest was created in the same same aesthetic as the original Silver Temple on Voss, featuring clean lines and an eco-friendly design. In order to preserve the natural splendor of Kashyyyk, it was important to create a new temple campus that blended in with the surrounding wilderness.The main temple structures were made to mirror the shape of the mountains on the horizon. The exterior is sleek and minimal, while the interior features an abundance of natural wood details to give a nod to their forest location. The temple and surrounding campus were made with peace and clarity in mind, a place for the Silver Jedi to learn, train, and live.
The Commons.
- Silver Landing: Generally, the first stop for most visitors and guests. This area includes the hangars and landing pads, quarters for guests and residents, and a repair yard for ships and crafts. The Commons (pictured above) leads from the landing to the Temple.
- Courtyard: An open area that is perfect for hosting large gatherings, lessons, or training.
- Gardens: Located near the lake on the western portion of the campus. A serene place to rest and relax. The landscape is meticulously maintained by volunteers, and features a number of flowering plants to provide a bit of color year-round. There are shady trees and benches, as well as a very nice place to swim -- when the water is warm enough. There are also a few greenhouses and raised beds for growing produce. At the water’s edge, there is a small memorial dedicated to the members of the Silver Jedi that were unable to make the journey to Kashyyyk.
- Antarian Ranger HQ: A separate base reserved for the Rangers. This structure has been built right into the side of a mountain featuring several subterranean levels. (A separate sub will be completed to detail the defenses and military aspects).

Main Entrance/Welcome Center.
- Great Hall – A wide open space with airy cathedral ceilings. The hall is usually the first area to greet guests and visitors to the temple, and is decorated to display the banners of the Silver Jedi. This is a perfect place for social gatherings, banquets, and other faction events.
- Conference Rooms, Offices, and Temple Chambers –There are a number of small conference rooms for meetings and study. The office of the Grandmaster is located in this wing as well. Currently, the largest space here is reserved for very important business. However, now that the assembly has been disbanded and the temple on Commenor hosts most political guests, the Temple Chambers is largely unused.
- Quarters: All younglings are housed within the temple itself, as are many of the padawan learners. There are also modest quarters available for any Knights and Masters that wish to reside here on Kashyyyk, and larger rooms reserved for esteemed guests of the Silver Jedi.
- Meditation Rooms -There are several quiet spaces available for mediation. Along with the more conventional style rooms that feature minimal details and dimmed lights, there are also some that allow in natural light and have a lovely view of the Kashyyyk wilderness.
- Halls of Healing: A state of the art medical ward. Here, the Silver Circle healers work with medical staff to ensure the highest level of care for their patients.
- Archives -The contents of the archives from Voss were brought here to Kashyyyk, to allow the SJO to continue to learn from the texts and artifacts of the Jedi that have been collected throughout the years. There is also a special vault here for storing holocrons.
- Training Grounds- A large courtyard outside, and a few indoor training gymnasiums.

High - In addition to the below, there is generally a large concentration of Knights and Masters at Silver Rest. There is a security check-point in the Common Area (between Silver Landing and the Temple), where guests may check in.

Following their move from Voss, the Silver Jedi needed a new Temple on their new Capital World. They came to settle in a large clearing that faced the mountains. It was clear that this area would offer protection and the calm seclusion that they needed to start fresh. With blessings from the native Wookies, the Order of the Silver Jedi began construction right away. This place was made in a similar aesthetic to their temple on Voss, a nod to their past. However, the Silver Jedi created this place with their future in mind – they wanted it to be a shining light for the sector and for the Jedi in general.
This would be their new home.
With time comes change -- after nearly a decade on Kashyyyk, the Silver Jedi entered a new era as the Silver Jedi Concord. When Commenor was named their new capital, a new temple was build there to commemorate the move. However, the heart of the Jedi would remain on Kashyyyk. Here at Silver Rest, Jedi continue to carry on -- learning and training in the ways of the light. Padawans generally reside here at the Rest, while Knights and Masters may choose their location at will.
Through it all, the temple continues to be a shining beacon of the light.
