It was still something to see. The Shadow Temple. It had been some time since he had been here, but it was the same as he remembered. Connel had stayed away from the Shadow Temple for a while but was back because he needed to be. It was a place of knowledge he needed to access and a place where he could find the answers he sought. The place was quiet as it should be on the outside but inside it was bustling with activity, similar as it was when he frequented the place.

One of the reasons Connel stayed away was because it was left in the capable hands of Desbre Gensan and Milya Vondar . They were more than capable of running the place and, and frankly, he didn’t want to be around either of them much. It was nothing personal, they were lovely, to be sure, but they were closely related to Father. He did not want to be reminded of that for a long time.

Now? Not so much.

After the operation in Rwookrrorro, he had been on the move for awhile. The Shadow he ran into Allyson Locke , she was potentially on her way, and he was not sure he could trust her with the location of the place. So the … was he a Shadow now? Was he a Guardian? Was he a Shadow Guardian? Not important right now, Connel was needing to make preparations that would be needed for what was to come. She may want to come see the place, but he had to make sure the place would not be compromised.

That was not the only reason he was here. Connel was here for one of the holocrons that was left behind in the vault. It was one his father had recorded, about the nature of the Force and its connection to life … in his own special way of speaking.
