- Description: Scourge Squadron is an Elite Naval Unit of the Final Dawn's Navy with a similar composition and role to Battlegroup Aurek, a recently-established Naval Battlegroup which was established to carry out a variety of naval operations across the galaxy at ease. As such, Scourge Squadron is designed with a similar purpose although it consists of heavier and larger warships thus possessing a larger compliment of starfighters and heavier firepower then it's precursor in accordance with Final Dawn Naval Doctrine which has always prioritized overwhelming firepower and starfighter superiority to maintain dominance over the naval forces of hostile powers. Despite it's focus on heavier firepower and larger compliments of starfighters, Scourge Squadron still maintains the same degree of flexibility and versatility present within it's precursor which allows the fleet to fulfill it's primary objective of carrying out vital naval operations in order to advance the agenda of the Final Dawn at ease. Scourge Squadron represents yet again another major step in the Final Dawn's Post-Tython revitalization efforts further strengthening it's Navy with yet another Elite Naval Task Force ensuring that it would remain one step-ahead of it's enemies both within and outside of the Maw.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Since the Battle of Tython, the Final Dawn now under the leadership of High Regent Marlon Sularen, moved forth to enter a new phase of reconsolidation and revitalization, with Sularen sending agents across the galaxy to seek new individuals to further increase the strength of the Final Dawn and ensure that it could emerge as a dominant force within the Brotherhood of the Maw in order to further advance his own agenda. As part of this endeavor, Sularen's agents came across a young man by the name of Brodan Dobson, a disgraced naval officer of the Elysium Imperium and an estranged member of the notorious Dobson Family.
After picking up Dobson, a meeting was arranged between the disgraced officer and Marlon Sularen in which Dobson quickly agreed to join the Final Dawn. However given his previous follies within the Elysium Imperium Navy, Sularen was reluctant to provide Dobson with an official rank within the Navy and thus instead settled with granting Dobson with the honorary title of Commandant and proceeded to assemble a small naval task force from an already existing one, formed in the aftermath of a successful operation in the Hapolafey System dubbed Task Force 191. After it's commander went on a leave of absence permitted by the High Regent, command of Task Force 191 was granted to Brodan Dobson and reorganized into Scourge Squadron.
With the High Regent continuing to his plan to emerge as a major force within the Brotherhood of the Maw and the galaxy itself, Scourge Squadron represents an yet another piece of the complex puzzle that is the complete, total, and utter destruction of the Galactic Alliance and every organization that has deceived him throughout the past two and a half decades. Every day his new Armada continues to grow in size and strength, and when the time is right, it shall be unleashed upon the galaxy and when that occurs, no one will be able to challenge the High Regent, not anyone within the Maw, not the Alliance, not the various smaller organizations constantly undermining him, no one.
