ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
- THIS PUPPY HAS TEETH: It is not the primary design of the ship, but the Revelry class has a significant weapons compliment for a ship of its type and size.
- CAN YOU MAKE YOU MISS IN MORE THAN ONE WAY: The maneuverability, the sleek angular hull, and "open spots" in the design can make it difficult for targeting sensors to lock on.
- EXPOSED SHIP SECTIONS: Well-placed shots could cut the ship to pieces, shields or not.
- A LOT OF OFFENSE, LITTLE DEFENSE: The ship is designed for attack runs and sweeps, not sustained open combat. The ship might be difficult to target, but if you can, there is not a lot of protection. Meant to work with other ships in classification.
The idea behind Guardian Authority Ltd's first concerted effort at a capital ship was what if a cruiser or a frigate could handle like a starfighter. Sure, this is not feasible on many levels but the Revelry class was designed with new features in mind. The more "open" areas, enabling them to dodge enemy fire (easier for the enemy ships to miss than anything) but more focus on shielding than armor makes for less bulk to move around. Granted there is no wind resistance in space, but the desired effect seems to work comparatively speaking.
