Return of the Heritage Council | Kur's Dozen Rebellion of Free World's Coalition Held Hapes Hex

Exiled Count of House Teraan (Alderaan)
Objective 2= quell these terrorist attacks and find the root of it...once it happens
Location= Unknown spaceport in Hapes
Allies= FWC, [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] , [member="Chekīta Awaud"]
Enemy= Unknown, Miss X Crew

It was a bit slow going but eventually, he was able put down both his initial attacker and his backup seeing that if nothing else. It seems all the work he'd put in trying to cover up some his past exploits didn't go in vain. And as far his unknown captors knew....he was no different from the other privileged brat most if not all the other houses had at one point in time. But then again that was not the case and he was, for the most part, gonna work play that to his advantage as best he could.

As he then after knock out and secure the two thugs out sight that he began to rummage thru their persons. To see if by chance they had the key or what not that would help bet the blasted collar off his neck. But then again just his luck that they didn't....and so after making sure that he'd secured them to them well enough that they couldn't escape. That he then set off back into the warehouse with the thought of the crates of illegal disruptor rifles weigh heavily in his mind. Which on all account he could easily just let the local deal with but then again he knew time was of the essence. And he at least tries get to them and make sure where they were. Would be a priority despite the consequences that would follow which he'd hope he could maybe be able to work is way out off somehow. But that he figured he'd just have face when the time came.....but for now stumbling in the dark. He did his best work his way back to where he remembers leaving them to hope he was not too late. Unaware someone else had seemed take note of his absence and was actively searching for him at the same time.

Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
Objective: Resist the Darkside and maybe not die?
Location: The Fountain Palace (The Throne Room)

The Queen’s state to not improve but slowly worsened to any that was observing her condition. The longer it continued the stronger the Force intervened. There was an imbalance. Darkness was constricting the very life from the young queen. Still Allana resisted. The more she resisted the closer to death she became.

~Allana’s Dream State~

Within her dream state Allana looked around the throne room. She was alone. There was no one but only herself. She was alone and there was a presence all around her. The chill was a cold so fast she had never felt anything of its like. It was strange because it should not be this cold. There was lights on so why there was no heat?

As steam came from her very breath she could feel the feeling of dread within her heart.

Mel was listening attentively to the Queen's Captain, "Arrested for treason Baroness." Mel tried not to smile not that the Baroness was such a bother it was her voice more than anything. She had the kind of voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard and all too often Mel had thought to silence her for just that reason. But the humiliation of an arrest might stifle her for a moment. But it would give her endless nights of chatter with anyone who would listen. Mel looked at Merci she had a feeling there was more to the story but she could find out later.

"Think of the story it will give you Baroness, is the Queen alright?" Since no one so far had said she wasn't she could assume but she would not. That was not her way. With that she moved away from the Baroness towards [member="Tha'ga Temi"] . Temi there had been another Temi on Hapes not long ago, a doctor if she remembered correctly. Was it the same family? Hmm, interesting. Mel nodded a greeting to the young woman as she began explaining what was happening. The Heritage Council well now...hmm what would [member="Allana Badeaux"] do. "There are many who do not have a tolerance for Imperials or the Sith. It is a wise move to ensure they do not have a foot hold within the Consortium." Mel was unaware of just how close the Sith really were. She glanced back at Azrik ([member="Darth Zurvan"])

"Yes treason is a death offense." Mel thought the Baroness was going to faint. There seemed to be some sense to Azrik's words this is an opportune time to change the seat of power. She could just reach out her hand and....she looked at Tha'ga Temi again. For some reason the words would not fade but she respected Allana, and supported her position, and to do less was an act of treason.

She took a side step to clear her mind least she hoped they had slipped away. "Yes how are you related to Tmoxin Temi?" A good question...

With Kyrel sequestered off to the side and a thin assurance that he would do no more harm - “go find Tha’ga if you want to be helpful,” she’d told him - Tmoxin went back to the spectacle in the Throne Room, heels clicking on the marble floor. Funny how she’d been all set to duel the Master of Ren in a pair of stilettos, but she’d likely resorted to that at another time in her life if she thought back to all of her business meetings on Kamino or Bothawui which devolved into violence.

Now she approached, the picture of poise and control. One foot after the other moved slowly as to not alarm the guards. Using the Force, she reached out to see if she could detect exactly what was wrong with [member="Allana Badeaux"] - to find out how weak or just how strong she was at this point. All that the redhead Hapan could feel was darkness emanating from her frail, prone figure.

“How long has she been like this?” Tmoxin calmly asked the nearest Royal Guard. "Has anyone called a doctor?"

"No, Captain. I will not stand here behind a shield while 'the matter is looked into'. I may not have been home for some time, but I assure you that you will find this sets everything in order."

Er'in let the waterfall silk of her gown trail lazily along the floor, looking the Guardswoman in the eye as she reached up to unclip her pendant from it's chain around her neck and handed it over. Funny, it hadn't been that long, but she couldn't quite remember the woman's name.

The guardswoman took the pendant like it was a striking viper, then scanned it, causing it to glow gently and her scanner to emit a quiet chirp of approval.

"My... apologies, Pelin’a."

Er'in gritted her teeth behind the smile. She'd known she'd hate that word when it came - she hated to pull the 'daughter of former royalty' card - but needs must as the Force guides, and the Force said it would really rather be a good idea to be Hapes now and in the Throne room. She'd only just managed to get back onto Hapes before the lockdown and getting through the palace without running into a former enemy looking to settle a score had been taking a chance.

She could feel the pressure coming from beyond the shield, and it was everything she could do not to tap her foot as the guardswoman swiped both her insignia and Er'in's pendant against the scanner, causing it to lower long enough for Er'in to hurry rather gracelessly into the Throne Room.

Ah. This spectacle would explain a great deal. Perhaps on reflection she should have come dressed for battle, or even carrying a lightsaber. But the Force had been quite emphatic about the need for caution, and the risk of uncontrolled darkness.

It did not take a Hyperspace Theorist to work out at least some of what was going on. She hurried to the minimum distance from [member="Allana Badeaux"] the Royal Guards would permit before they raised weapons against her - as much as one can hurry in the Hapan formal gown expected of a Pelin’a. She made certain to put one line of fire between her and [member="Tmoxin Temi"] - it wasn't that she didn't trust the other woman, it was that she didn't trust the other woman. Nothing personal, this is Hapes.

"I don't think she needs a doctor, she is at war with herself through intent or treachery. The balance must be tipped and currently she is drowning in currents of darkness."

It was, Er'in thought, a familiar sensation. Well, the Force did run in Hapan royal blood, even as it was often denied.

It was that time after some careful maneuvering as well some well-timed sneak around while avoiding other potential unwanted attention. Given that one by one the once darken hangar bay were being restored to power. As some thought, not all were being lit and bathed in the warm yet eerie glow of the backup emergency light. Which unbeknownst to him was mostly due to the fact that the said hangar he was in, for the most part, was pretty close to one the side back wall. Of what would be the royal estate of which the Hapan Queen reside and now was being locked down.

As of which given the situation there at that time was seen gone from bad to worse as he would soon realize. As he came to the last door that leads to the hangar where he assumes he'd left the crates. That he come realize once inside that they were gone...moved by perhaps his captors for whatever nefarious means they had in mind. That he under his breath could help but curse before moving off in slight anger as well frustration as the heavy guilt hung heavy in his mind. Much as it would appear the collar that still hung heavy around his neck that soon began to beep as if come to life that he had to run.

“Oh good, more delegates from the Confederacy,” noted Tha’ga with genuine relief. "And yes, of course, I am her sister, though it's reassuring that another CIS representative is here as Tmoxin holds a leadership position within that organization."

The young Hapan could also feel something emanating from the man, but untrained in the use of the Force or even recognizing that she was tapping into it somehow, she chalked it up to a subtle sense of dread, one that had pervaded Ta'a Chume Dan ever since the first bomb went off.

“But there is no treason,” she protested with a small huff of outrage, channeling her sister for the briefest of moments. “And if so, how do you explain it the supposed treason to my family? Because I assure you, she has nothing but the utmost loyalty to the Consortium.”

Kyrel's anger was reaching new heights, Vader's Bane hungered feeding on the rage within Kyrel, but in turn, it's darkness returned to him tenfold. Rage had threatened to consume him once more, even when he had let it consume him once, with the fading life of the Queen vastly coming to a close. Kyrel could only mentally curse himself as he had made a common flaw amongst those who wielded the darkness. Being prone to anger and letting it affect his actions. Perhaps an heir to the Skywalker bloodline was all but killed by his hand, no not yet as the Master of Ren could feel life within the woman yet, he could only grin at the future he could think of with the Woman's potential, the power that she had yet to unlock. Perhaps his mistake could be rectified after all.
But the woman he was facing down at this moment, a loose end that had long needed to be tied had summoned him for this task, this mission of her's only to be betrayed in the end. This had not in the slightest surprised Kyrel, but now she had the gall to order him as if he was an errand boy. He narrowed his eyes at her as she spoke. Ordering him to stand down and to join her in a conversation. He had not said a word, deactivating Vader's Bane momentarily the symbiotic bond between weapon and master momentarily. He turned slowly tempering his anger, and then a voice spoke to him as she jumped down to avoid him as if he was only a ghost.
"Attack Armored One." His eyes widened recognizing the spirit of Darth Thaxis speak to him once more, the disembodied voice reaching out from deep within. His disembodied voice still had the sickly sweet tone to what he can describe as if his voice was a madman's lullaby, A spirit that was once the ruler of Mustafar, and the creator of what was the Sith Temple underneath Vader's Castle. Kyrel had gained spirit after being awakened during the Battle Of Mustafar when the Knights of Ren assaulted the New Jedi Order. Wishing to use Kyrel as his new vessel to enact revenge on the Jedi, he had lured the young Knight of Ren into a trap attempting to take his body in a battle of wills. Thaxis was ultimately defeated and became a part of Kyrel. The spirit had not returned to him since the Battle of Kamino in a similar situation to which he and Temi dueled. The Spirit continued once Kyrel did not respond. "The woman will not let you live. Like all Dark Jedi, she is only after her own gain. You would learn well boy that this may be your end." Kyrel returned mentally to the ghost. "Yes her time has come indeed. But to let you tell me how to deal with it is foolish. I will do it and finally end this farce once and for all."
Kyrel had turned to see Temi had ignored him, her guard let down but then became aware of another Force User, dressed in a gown approach. Perhaps another enemy to face depending on the outcome of what he was about to do. With Tmoxin distracted, his rage harnessed, the dark side a weapon, a tool to bend to his will came from within him. As he attempted to blast Tmoxin with the Force, his powerful skill with Telekinesis unmatched within the Knights of Ren. Kyrel attempted to blast Tmoxin to the far side of the throne room, reactivating Vader's Bane and keeping it to his side as a show that he was not on the offensive. He spoke the tone beneath was sinister and deep. He spoke as if a teacher was chastising his student. "Ignoring your opponent is a mistake, and in most cases fatal. I am disappointed that not even the great Tmoxin Temi knows that." He looked on prepared to whatever comes next, his plans would not come in jeopardy today. Every fiber of his being was screaming to fight, to kill but wanted to await Tmoxin's next move. One thing was clear, whatever would happen between the two powerful Dark Sider's, Kyrel assured himself that Tha'ga would succeed with the plan along with his own.

Tmoxin recognized the newcomer as fellow Confederate and Hapan, Miss Tenel, but before she could properly respond, she felt the Master of Ren’s wave of telekinesis hit her squarely in the back. If Kyrel’s anger had spiraled, unraveling into a mess of wayward strands, split at the ends, Tmoxin’s fury quickly coiled as soon as she felt the energy, and like a cobra in a basket, her own use of the Force wound tight helping her resist his blast. But she still skidded into a column feeling a sharp pain in her lower spine and tailbone.

“I’m not your opponent Kyrel. But I will be your worst nightmare if you do not stand down. Not giving him the chance to rest on his laurels, the redhead Hapan, ignoring everyone around her and focusing completely on a person she’d given too much to for far too long, she raised her hand and yanked what could grab essence-wise from Kyrel’s mind and body, mainly his own strong use of the Force, the one thing she was about to use against him. Force drain happened to be her specialty, and she pulled at Kyrel's own power as though a thousand hooks were dragging his life essence away from him. The power came with extreme unpredictability however, and it was likely that if she was successful in siphoning the Master of Ren’s life force and thus ending his life, she may move to the others in the room like her fellow Hapan, Er’in - or to the Queen herself.

Tmoxin’s brown eyes flashed crimson, the anger nearly pulsating off her graceful frame, and she thought of her old friend Draco Vereen who’d helped her hone this skill, with such thorough practice - time and time again on swiftly executing living beings by draining them of life, leaving limp corpses in her wake.

Kyrel looked at the woman, his saber still at his side. It did not surprise him that Tmoxin was able to take the brunt of the hit. Kyrel could only scoff at the fact that his attack didn't have the effect he had thought it did. She then continued to order him around as if he still served her. But when she spoke of becoming his worse nightmare, to which he could only let a cruel laugh through his voice processor. "Do you really think that scares me... You knew of my power the first day you met me. You are no match Temi and of course, I would offer you the chance to surrender, but like the snake, you are you'll just continue to betray everyone for your benefit. It is time to end this." He raised his saber, ready for her next move The Force burning brightly within her.

As soon as he was finished speaking, she locked her sights on him and Kyrel could feel something within him, energy being drained from his very being. His energy, his life was being drained in seconds, Kyrel could feel as if his very bones were aging. It was clear this was a duel to the death between the dark sider's, but even the Dark Warrior was no match for this power. Within seconds he was forced to his knees, Vader's Bane falling from his fingers as he looked at her. The Dark Side had taken a hold of her, he could feel the anger, the fury, and in moments Kyrel was feeling his very life slip away. Wrinkles rapidly appearing on his face, his hair greying, his body becoming weaker the more that she attempted to drain out of him.

Was this his end, his plans unrealized, things undone all to die, Kyrel Ren dead at the hands of a Dark Jedi. "No boy not yet.." The familiar voice of Thaxis reached to him from within. Kyrel didn't have much time on his hands and knees. "Help me... Thaxis." He returned mentally, only for Thaxis to let out a cruel and sickening laugh. "If you die, your body is mine boy, but if she kills you then I die with you.. A pity, distract her boy and I will lend you my power, whatever is left that I have." Kyrel was starting to feel himself on the verge of death, his electrical systems starting to fry from the overwhelming power. He struggled to reach a button on his wristpad, activating the Xaynias Class Slicer Droid to which he called 12-ED. His robes being shredded to pieces, the droid emerged from his back, as Kyrel quickly saying his teeth gritted in pain. "ED... Help Now!" The droid went away from the strips that were draining Kyrel, and used its weapon an electrical defense that was designed to zap its enemies, and attempted to zap Tmoxin momentarily giving Kyrel to recover if it worked. If it didn't he would be dead on the ground.

Using whatever time he had, he quickly staggered away from Tmoxin, pulling his saber to him, reigniting the crimson blade, preparing to launch a counterattack, drawing upon his own pain to fuel his power. He waited to see what he could do before making his next move.

“What the feth is going on,” said Zyrias, giving Zef one of those “hold up, this chit is crazy” looks.

With all of the pandemonium - the Queen on the floor, the two Jedi or Sith or whoever they were attacking each other, the fresh Hapan woman who just entered the room, and the guards standing around slack jawed, no one noticed the young teenager and her fake dad, the grizzled smuggler.

Not to mention their luggage case full of precious items from the palace.

Paralyzed for a moment, Zyrias just stood there, and then she unzipped her luggage looking for something - I don’t know, she thought, maybe some spice to take the edge off here and get through this alive, but she spied a small thermal detonator in a pocket.

Kark me, that’s from Cantonica! She’d completely forgotten it was there, tucked away in her bag.

She drew it out quickly, activated it and threw it like a shock ball in the middle of the room.

BOOOOOMMMMMM!

The blast exploded immediately sending Royal Guards flying and quartz and marble chunks from the floor and ceiling hurtling through the air.

When the black smoke cleared, a small fire simmered where the detonator had landed.

Tmoxin was gone. Not dead - there was no body. But absent. Missing. As though a phantom had vanished from the room.

And Zyrias grabbed Zef’s hand again and said, “Let’s get the mother-karkin’ feth out of here, Gramps.” A hole was now blown through one of the walls which would allow the pair of thieves to slip out.

~The Throne room~
The chaos was interrupted as the thermal detonation blew a hole in the throne room wall. The handful of guards who was near that area paid a horrible price for thinking Zyrias Pax was just a young noble woman. What body parts that was not disintegrated or crushed under portions of the wall...were flung into the room.

The guards closest Zyrias and Zef Halo reaction time to the blast was a little delayed. It was highly unlikely one of them seem the thermal detonator being thrown. They did see the young noble woman and her way too old for her boy toy? Exit out of the throne room using the hole in the wall?

One of those guards did call (over her comlink) in the newly formed hole asking for additional assistance, maybe to someone in a command center?

The other royal guards in the room did not move from their position. There was the Queen Mother to protect as well as other members of the court. They even had to decide what to do with [member="Kyrel Ren"]. They did not move to directly intervene at the moment. They were in position though. They had place themselves between the Ren and members of the court. Maybe they waited to give him the option of standing down. Kyrel was the representative of The First Order. Maybe the queen had plans of her own and that is why none of the guards shot Kyrel in the first place?

That very dream, it was death. It was all around and it was suffocating. The thousands of lives Dredge drained. The billions that was lost within a nuclear detonation. There was also the number of beings that had dead on Hapes Primes for eons. She felt it all, their pain and their suffering. It pressed inward and all around her. It was darkness that stained the very beauty of Hapes, Allana so dearly loved.

It twisted and festered within her. She felt it corrupting her very being. Every moment, ever second she resisted, her precious life force started to slip away. So powerful was this onslaught her translucent shimmering form dropped to one knee.

Through this nightmare she could hear soft whispers. She knew what they sounded like, but somehow she just knew what they were. The whispers were the events happening around her physical body.

Was the Darkness that was assaulting her not enough? Their words, their actions! Their hopes, their dreams! Their pain and their suffering!

The very shinning beacon of light Allana was, it was being crushed! Her heart felt like it was being shattered and she was spiraling into the very depths!

Explosions, in the Throne Room.

Er'in watched in teeth-gritting disbelief as the Knight of Ren drew lightsaber and cut loose with the force - her first interaction with a member of the First Order. That was bad enough - a moment out of a thousand stories, perhaps - but bad enough that outsiders would draw blades here. She had no love for her home, not after what it had done to her, but it was her home - and she was not about to let someone else dictate terms to it.

Or the Force dictate terms to her Queen, in Er'in book, the Force dictated only to the weak and the feebleminded - Sith, Jedi or Ren.

As the crack of the thermal detonate resounded throughout the chamber, she reached into her soul and pulled upon the well of fire and anger there - perversely ignited anger, perhaps, fuelling her towards generosity rather than her desire to take what might be hers. But who was anyone to tell her or Allana what shape they should be? Had she not put herself through Chaos simply to have the right to make those choices? Well, she could give her Queen a choice.

It was perhaps no accident of Fate she had spent the last months mastering the more perceptive arts of Sith and chasing down alien legends. She wasn't foolish enough to believe the Force didn't guide, after all.

Heedless to the danger of corruption - and it was more than considerable, given balance of the room - she threw her perceptions free of her body, her form going limp on the cold stone next to the Queen.

~Allana's Dream~
(music)

The figure rose from the floor like some pagan goddess on a backwater planet, wreathed in the smoke and wrath of Hapes - of the innocents and guilty killed in a thousand political feuds, of the angry uneasy dead who had vanished in nuclear fire - and of one teenage girl of superb training in the Force and blinding intellect, that gave the figure form enough that even here and now, drowning in the Dark Side, Allana might recognise a distant cousin - after all, Hapes actual Royal family was not that large and they were, for all the distance in bloodline, of an age.

"Ta’a Chume." Here, in dream Er'in's words couldn't hide how much part of her hated - and loved - Hapes formalities. Nor even in crisis would she abandon them where proper. "You have a choice..."

She extended one hand, which surely in life did not have nails of blood and shadow. "... take my hand and embrace your fear."

She extended the other, which was a plain, ordinary hand with perhaps a sparkle of light - for even the most devoted Sith cannot extinguish the light. "... or take my hand and give me your fear."

"One will free you, the other will take you on a path I cannot walk. But I will do my best to save you. I will not make the choice for you, or for any other. But you must decide quickly, before everything is lost."

~Dream State or a Astral Walk~
As much as her perception expanded into a greater truth, her heart and mind was clouded. Her soul lay in shock, as it awoken to the truth of the Force. Trapped within a Force Wound that was Hapes Prime’s suffering. She had no preparation for this truth that now assaulted her.

Sensing something new within the shroud of suffering, Allana looked up. Looking up she could see @Er’in Tenel. Over the sea of voices she almost did not hear Er’in’s words.

No words came to Allana’s lips. Her emotions could be surly felt through the astral plan. The pain and anger was there. The happy surprised feelings to see her cousin, there in the void of darkness Allana no longer felt alone. There was a brief respite. In that moment she felt hope. That hope reminder her of her true strength.

Unconditional love for her people!

Allana could see what she what she had to do. This wound festered upon the land like a cancer. It corrupted the very people Allana loved with all over her heart.

Allana had seen another option as she reached out for Er’in’s out stretched hand!

~The Throne Room~
The Queen’s body stirred. Awakening from her dream, she rolled over weakly. Her very being seemed, very still as she shambled up to her knees. Then her eyes opened. The color of orange flooded her eyes. Her hands went to her head, as she leaned back. A scream of horror filled the throne room.

She had drunk deep. She had willingly sacrificed herself when she took the hand of shadow and blood. The shadow that once hung over Hapes was gone. The Queen Mother’s soul was cleaved straight to the bone. The purity that was once the Queen was gone. What was left of Allana? Was there any remote chance she was still in that shattered soul?

The dreamer had awoken…

Enemies: Free World Coalition, Relina Zhan (non-combat), those who support the Free World Coalition (Traitor Hapes)

An assassination on the Queen Mother?! By a force wielding maniac?! Ludicrous! She knew that the Free Worlds Coalition was too good to be true! Upon seeing this holo recording on her desk, she turned it off and slammed her fist on the table.

"You are telling me, that the Queen Mother was in DANGER?! And you give me this news LATE?! You insolent FOOL!" The person who reported this news trembled moving back from Lucienne's ravent rant, as the noblewoman gave her usual prideful glance and begun to stand like one. "It is a duty of a SInclair to protect the Queen Mother and her people of Hapes! There will be no excuses on this at all! We will instantly rush to Hapes to help free ourselves from the tyranny of the so called Free Worlds Coalition. Quickly, I want soldiers to prepare to deploy as well to the capital. We must make sure that the Queen Mother is safe, and not in the hands of these barbarians..."

She then balled her fist.

"And of course... Zhan... we must not let her get all the glory. This day shall belong to the Sinclairs. My family must be recognized as the saviours of Hapes! Quickly, prepare everyone, and head to Hapes Prime! Once there, quickly head to the Fountain Palace, and kill anyone who stands in your way. I shall personally make my heroic entrance and attack!"

As she gave out her commands, Lucienne got into her admiral outfit and took a few things for her to put on. She can't just let herself fall behind. Not now. Not when there's still glory left for the taking. The fact she got this late, was no doubt an attempt by Zhan to slow her progress... even if it wasn't, everything, in her eyes, was Zhan's fault. Even if it had nothing to do with her. She didn't wanted to see her name smeered by her rival, nor she wanted to look like a damned fool and humiliated. There was no way she was going to allow anyone to swallow up her pride! Even if the fighting was over, she was still going to deploy. Deploy and save the day, like any fool with money would do.

...

Some time later...

Emerging from hyperspace was nothing more than two battle dragons, and two battle pulsars while a command ship that contained Lucienne and her personal guard were aboard. But she did not care for her lack of numbers, for she knew she had a good enough fleet. Luckily, there wasn't any fighting... wait... hmn?... No fighting? No, she can't be too late. The sight of no fighting was not good. For the fact she was already fustrated as she is, she begun to give her codes. The voice in her mouth when she presented them was as if she had abseloutly no time, and she didn't wanted to waste her patience around them.

"This is Admiral Sinclair of the Hapes Royal Navy, requesting clearance for landing on Hapes. Transmitting the code now."

When she heard the clearance was granted, she begun to move her fleet towards Hapes Prime, quickly heading into the Fountain Palace. When landing, she got her rapier, her blaster and her cloak. She got out of the ship with her guards, and with a few troops. She glared at one of soldiers. "Stay in watch of the perimiter and make sure no one gets near it. And..." she rose her finger and gave a deep glare. "Send a few to protect the outside. I don't want any retreating when I make my glorious entry."

A salute came from the personnel and made her advancement with her guards towards the palace. She was going to go in there, and save the day. She can't just keep the Queen Mother waiting! "March faster, you fools! We must get to the Queen Mother before the enemy does!"

Kyrel was overwhelmed by the flash of light that had emerged forth, and within seconds his enemy was gone. He scowled and let out a Force Scream, which had caused the very ground to shake, and windows to burst. His anger replenishing his strength slowly, keeping his saber close to him. His enemy was now gone another chance to destroy her was gone. All that there was to finish the plans that had come forth when he first started the mission, turning around to see guards on the ground all over the place. The throne room now a wreck unlike the grand hall that it was not even moments ago.
He now turned to look at the beings that were left, besides the guards all that remained was the Sith, and the Queen. The former staring at him with awe as he could sense that she even was in awe of the power he wielded. He couldn't help but grin thinking, that if the woman tried anything and now even angry at his quarry's escape. He would not hesitate to strike at those who dared to oppose him. But for now, he was contemplating on whether he should even save the Queen or even kill her. Despite her link to what he thought was a bloodline of gods, she could still prove a threat, but even so, she could still have her uses.
He slowly stepped forward, saber in hand, but stopped. Feeling a tremor in the Force. He felt the woman was alive yet, but had felt something else in the Force. Something that was filled with pain, rage, and had the very essence of death itself. Then to his astonishment, the woman awoke somehow aided by the Sith. The woman let out her own scream to which sounded like a cry of a banshee. Her eyes were yellow consumed by the dark side. He grinned underneath his mask. This woman may prove useful, alive or dead she would serve her purpose. He activated Vader's Bane once more, the red blade igniting with a hiss, the weapon all the more happy to be wielded by its Master once more.
Speaking keeping his saber lowered prepared to end her if need be, he let out a sickening laugh through the voice processor. Speaking to her as if there was still reason within her. "Yes! Give in to your rage, give in to hatred. You feel it can't you the darkness. The power it offers. You know it calls to you. Embrace your destiny." Whether the woman would listen or not he had no idea. But if need be he would be prepared to end those that stood in his way even the Queen herself. His vision would be realized soon enough.

A Force Wound.

Oh.

That would explain a lot. That made all of this a serious error. But at least she hadn't chosen the light, Er'in only had to share in her Queen Mother's pain rather than bearing that corruption herself.

Darth Metus is going to laugh himself into coma. She thought sourly as the seething wall of hate and rage, the screams of the dying and sins of the mothers that had birthed so many of Hapes vindictive, manipulative politicans washed over her through [member="Allana Badeaux"] and their connection. For a moment they might have been soul to soul - Er'in's often misplaced and youthful rage at the betrayal of her family and her strangely placed senses of charity and greed standing beside the noblesse oblige of the young Queen Mother.

Then there was pain and darkness.

Her eyes opened to the soft humming of a lightsaber and the words of the Knight of Ren, she stared blankly at her own reflection - at the violet-purple orbs that sat where her eyes had been. She couldn't remember being so angry, or having so much hate. And now a male was instructing her Queen. Instructing her, for that matter.

Anger must be leashed by intellect.

Somehow, Darth Sideous' words failed to quite convey the difficultly in doing so when all you could hear was the pounding of blood in your veins and screams from your ancestors.

Slowly, she raised herself up onto one hand, spitting blood onto the floor. She gazed up at [member="Kyrel Ren"] as lightning crackled off her eyes and down her body. One chance. The words passed through her mind as if put there. She wanted to blast this intruder into atoms, to hear his screams echo around the hall. But a tiny bit of the intellectual Sith that had entered the room hung on grimly to her self control, just.

"Scion of Vader." Her voice was elegant, perfect, but twisted with hate. She pulled herself fully to her feet, brushing down her gown. "Kneel before his daughters, and there will be no further quarrel here."

She reached out one lightning wreathed hand to touch [member="Allana Badeaux"]'s shoulder.

"Only a fool gives in to darkness. Leash it, cousin. To duty, to passion. To fear and disgust if you must. But we control the Force, not the other way round. Make it fire and freedom. Make it power."

The rage?
The hate?
Did [member="Kyrel Ren"] know how much filled the young Queen Mother at this moment? She was as still as she stood there while her cousin @Er’in Tenel spoke. As the very power within Allana threatened to consume her, steam floated up off her body. She was lucky, lucky the heat coming from her body was not catching the rare Dathomiri silks from her body. Was it luck or something else?

“I will chose my destiny”, the words floated from Allana’s lips. As much as it hurt to even speak at the moment she was not done telling anyone how she felt!

Allana did not just feel the darkness around her. She felt the light as well. The darkness in her was absurdly strong but the love she felt balanced it. It was conflict in the truest sense, a balance that left her imbalanced.

“I will not ask anyone to bow to me, at the moment”, she stated fearing how the power of having someone bow to her at the moment might feel.

“I will say this though Master of Ren”, Allana spoke. Her words graceful and calm, but she was far from serene emotionally.

“I knew you were here in my home before you stepped into the throne room. I considered you an envoy of the First Order then and I do now. Our two nations were neutral before today. Let’s not break that neutrality today, shall we?”

Allana was still very much in control of her emotions at the moment. It was tenuous at best. If she was pushed too much no one would get what they wished for!

The blast from the Throne Room rattled the walls and nearly blew Tha’ga’s eardrums out. “Mother of Kwath, what in the Seven Moons was that!” All of this Council talk could wait if their lives were now in danger.

“Pardon me, Duch'a and Azrik.” She gave a polite nod. “I do not feel this is a safe place to have this discussion.” A Royal Guard in the corridor shouted that a bomb had gone off in the Throne Room which caused Tha’ga’s hand to flutter to her open mouth. “Tmoxin! I have to get to my sister.”

She barted with the guards for a moment who protested that it wasn’t safe to enter. “Please, please. If my sister is lying in there gasping for breath, I want to be with her, to hold her...” Tears pooled in her eyes, her hands shook, but they permitted her to enter out of pure sympathy.

Her first impression was obviously shock at the chaos that the bombing had caused, not to mention the structural damage to such a historical room in the Castle of Per'Agthra and the obvious loss of life. But thankfully she did not see Tmoxin. Perhaps she’d escaped in time? Tha’ga did, however, witness an incredible scene in front of her and knew that some kind of transformation was taking place. The malevolent energy in the Throne Room crept into her psyche, making her feel uneasy if not terrified without knowing exactly why.

The Queen was alive, thank the stars! Though she seemed changed somehow, nearly steaming with a crackling fiery aura. Another Hapan woman she did not recognize spat blood upon the ground and demanded that her sister’s acquaintance, Kyrel Ren, knelt and well, it wasn’t an unusual request for an angry Hapan faced with an unprincipled male who did not understand his place within the societal matriarchy. His saber - she’d never seen a weapon like it. In fact, Tha’ga had never experienced anything like this in her entire life. How sheltered, I’ve been. And while her heart beat like a hummingbird, she realized she enjoyed the thrill of the moment, reminiscent of so many historical Hapan moments of treachery.

Despite her strange visage, the Queen injected a bit of calm into the scene asking for neutrality. HatShe felt as though her words were anything but helpful, but still Tha’ga spoke. “I’ve been told a medic is on the way for the wounded. Otherwise, I’m very relieved to see that you are still alive Queen Badeaux.” She eyed Kyrel worriedly as though to ask, where’s Tmoxin? And finally she glanced at Er’in, far too stunned to slip into graceful formalities.

“And who are you? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in the halls of the Palace.”

Mel had been too stunned to react quickly her carmel colored eyes swiftly went to the doors of the throne room. All were shocked for a moment and then they turned and ran. Promises were made to keep the Royal Guards from getting in trouble but even they could not deny them access to see if [member="Tha'ga Temi"] family lived.

Had she just said it was dangerous a most prophetic statement for no sooner had the words been uttered when chaos let loose.

[member="Allana Badeaux"] the Queen was speaking, thank goodness. Relief washed over Mel and the dark cloud that had been clouding her thoughts leading her down a dangerous path lifted. Mel stepped back as she felt it lifted she shuddered as she wondered what was that.

She looked at Allana and then to the others in the room. Who were all these people. Mel moved carefully to stand closer to her Queen not so much that they were touching but that she was two or three people away now and could see her better. There was something about her changed she could see it in her eyes she ask later. Her control was in place it was not often a Hapan would show their emotions to strangers. For one so young she held her ground quite eloquently.

Mel took in the players, [member="Kyrel Ren"] - First Order Representative..he was a long way from home.
