The Forgotten One
You know guys, I got the Rome 2 game, and I hoped after playing for a few hours this whole invasion thing would be sorted out. I was wrong.
Why the Sith have been able to invade twice in a row and the Republic have failed to counter invade once, as well, is beyond me.Vilox Pazela said:If these was why the Carida invasion was locked, and appears not to be going ahead at any time soon, then this is plain Out of Character interference inheriting, abusing and stopping In Character from happening. There are only three times and three times only when OOC should be used to stop IC:
Now, getting back to this rule and the Carida invasion, in which I am guessing this is about, I want to ask the community this:
- When the In Character actions of person(s) are being used and/or instigated against another person(s) as a direct attack on the writer(s). I.E: You're just attacking these person(s) because you don't like them OOC.
- When the In Character actions of person(s) are malformed due to misinformation or lack of knowledge of In Character obstacles or preparation. I.E: You've just landed in a ruin on Dromund Kaas, that is currently under Mandalorian occupation, but didn't know before writing the post in question that said base/defenses were not there.
- When the In Character actions of person(s) are unfair, unrealistic and/or Godmerru against another person(s). I.E: Darth Iscariot.
Discuss.
- In Character, what is stopping the One Sith continuing their invasion of the Galactic Republic and subsequent purge of the Jedi Order?
- What is stopping the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order counter attacking against the One Sith and their invasion of the Republic and subsequent purge of the Jedi?
- Why should Out of Characters agreements made affect In Character invasions?

I've asked multiple times that you stop insulting both me and my faction members, if you do it again i will report you. If you can't say something nice or constructive, don't say anything at all.Captain Larraq said:- Show respect to everyone in the role-play. -
I'm not an authority figure in the least, but everything I've seen done in PM's and with the general "we're posting anyway" decision and the blatant ignoring of the RPJ involved in the discussion and attempts to go over her head show a general lack of respect for the Republic, the writers and admins of said faction, and staff in general.
That...was an unfair example to use because from the outside looking in, yes it did appear as though there was a "breakdown of communication" between factions. The reality of it was, every effort was made for communication between factions, there was simply a slip-up of communication and understanding within Moross. An honest mistake was made in posting the invasion before discussions about it were finished. It wasn't a breakdown and the rules were not purposefully ignored or broken.HK-36 said:I would have to disagree as well, and here's why,
In the Invasion of Silken Asteroids I have seen a breakdown of communications between two factions prior to engagement, i.e. there was little discussion between the factions before the Invasion as this rule would set in place.
The effects were really disheartening, plenty of bickering and OOC drama being involved into the Invasion, members leaving in frustration multiple times, harsh words being said.
