DESCRIPTION

When Sularen reactivated the Politorate in response to the Strategic Intelligence Agency’s investigations against him , the Politorate required a means to operate effectively without catching the eye of the SIA. Recognizing that establishing fixed bases could potentially compromise the Politorate in case agents got captured , the Director-Admiral Dorian Sevenar envisioned a Specialized Fleet of Stealth Frigates to act as mobile bases for Politorate Agents.

After a short meeting with Marlon Sularen , Sevenar received approval for his idea , and shortly after Marlon Sularen began work on designing the ultimate Stealth Frigate for the Politorate dubbed the Reckoning-Class Stealth Frigate. Taking inspiration from the Modular Taskforce Frigates and the Escort Carriers of the Old Galactic Empire and the New Imperial Order , Sularen created two variants of the Stealth Frigate , the Spec-Ops Variant and the Heavy Combat Variant.

The Heavy Combat Variant of the Reckoning Stealth Frigate makes use of Heavy Weaponry and it’s Hangar Bays are filled with Specialized TIE/EN Enforcers with the Spec-Ops Variant being primarily used to wage Asymmetrical Warfare and conduct False-Flag Operations to further advance the goals of the Politorate.

Meanwhile the Spec-Ops Variant of the Reckoning Stealth Frigate makes use of Heavy Armor in lieu of Heavy Weaponry and utilized primarily TIE/STx Stealth Transports instead of TIE/Enforcers with the Surveillance Variant being primarily used to conduct Intelligence Operations for the Politorate such as Intelligence Gathering , Counter-Intelligence , Military and Economic Sabotage.

To summarize , the Reckoning-Class Stealth Frigate is the ideal weapon for the Politorate , allowing it to operate throughout the Galaxy with minimal chances of getting detected and ensuring that Sularen’s Goals can be advanced with minimal opposition from those who’d try to stop him.

Hello there, I'll be your friendly neighbourhood Factory Goblin today.
  • More links, please. Manufacturers, Affiliations, and the Starfighters+ mentioned in the description are required to be linked; additionally, I would suggest linking any uncommon technologies used, e.g., HIMS, Gravity Well Generators, and Mag-Pulse/Disruptor Torpedoes.
  • Are the Gravity Wells included in the SpecOps or Heavy Combat variant? Your Strengths and Special Features disagree.
  • Please revise your description. As it stands it seems to reference an earlier draft of the submission with different variant names.
Finally, I would like to point out that these vessels should be written in accordance with their ratings. In particular, the "Very Low" Defence Rating Heavy Combat variant still has a slew of defensive tech added onto it, but that is ultimately just fluff, the ratings are what matters.

This goes for the Shield X in general - it is your purview as a writer not to take hits, but the Factory will not consider this vessel "near-invulnerable".

Edit: I will note that you seem to be missing links in a lot of your currently-awaiting-judgement Submissions. I would strongly suggest adjusting them all without being asked individually for a smoother review process.

Almost, but not quite. There are still some things we need to look at.
  • First of all, you forgot to link your Manufacturers/Affiliations as instructed. Please do so.
    • Please link the TIE/STx and TIE/Enforcers in the description, too - I'd also suggest linking the bios of any characters mentioned therein. There is a very real chance anyone who reads it won't have the foggiest who they are, I know I don't.
  • Your Strengths and Weaknesses still disagree as to which variant is which - Spec-Ops has both "Heavy Armour" and "Low Armour" and likewise with Heavy Combat and Heavy Hitter/Low Armament. Please correct this and revise the Description to reflect this.
    • As an aside, Very Low means Very Low - as written, the submission implies that the variant with Very Low defences has some "weak armour" but is still able to withstand fire from larger vessels for extended periods of time. Factory does not usually judge on balance, these days, but that seems a bit silly. I'd strongly recommend rephrasing it to be more reasonable.
Just to be clear, tacking on lots of powerful-sounding tech doesn't actually do anything, if the ratings don't match. I treat it as fluff, plain and simple.

Status on this? I noticed that the Manufacturer/Affiliation issue was resolved immediately before I posted last, but the other issues yet remain. This submission will be archived for inactivity if these issues are not resolved by 15.03, i.e., next Monday.

Furthermore, you seem to have expanded the Affiliation even further - a Production rating of Semi-Unique is meant to be very restrictive, whereas you seem to be adding on more and more authorised users. Please tighten it somewhat, as it stands these are too "common" for my taste.

I trust you understand that these should not be treated as ubiquitous by your horde of Codex-submitted minions?

What is the status of this submission? As per the rules of the pre-factory, which can be found here, submissions may only remain in the pre-factory for one month before being archived. Unfortunately, your submission has been in the pre-factory for longer than a month, if you could please update us on if you still intend to complete it, or if you would rather the submission be moved to the archives till you're ready to work on it.
