STRENGTHS
  • Rotation: The primary offensive weaponry for the Ragnos Ivicerator is located on two rotating platforms positioned above and below the primary hull. These platforms are capable of rotating a full three hundred and sixty degrees, allowing the Ragnos Ivicerator to bring its vast array of weaponry to bear against multiple targets. This also allows the ship to have a higher rate of fire, as it can rotate recharging weapons away and replace the firing angle with new weapons. A further bonus allows the Ragnos Ivicerator to bring the right weapon to bear against a foe, without having to worry about firing angles for static weaponry.
WEAKNESSES
  • Hangar: The Ragnos Ivicerator has no room for a hangar bay, with all its internal and external space dedicated to armor and weaponry. This severely limits the warships ability to openly engage long range targets or defend itself against swarm tactics.
  • Volleys: While the Ragnos Ivicerator is capable of engaging multiple enemy targets, as well as focusing the proper weaponry against a foe, the rotating nature of the weaponry prevents the ship from firing overwhelming volleys at a target. The vessel is incapable of giving the same output of fire that a warship with fixed weapon positions can in a short time span, and must rely on long term attrition to wear down its foes.
DESCRIPTION
The Vaydralen did not have a space born fleet when the Bryn'adul came to their world. They had the technology to create one, if they had so chosen, but the instability of their homeworld political landscape prevented them from organizing their limited and distributed resources towards the effort. After the species joined the efforts of the Bryn'adul however, and the need to travel across the galaxy to take part in the Great Effort demanded that all available resources be dedicated to the task. In just a few short months, and with extensive support from their new allies, the first Vaydralen warship design was completed.

The Ragnos Class Ivicerator is separated into three sections. The central section is an Errindak warbeast, one of the living monsters. The Errindak used to make Ragnos Ivicerator are usually young, with the natural hostility and aggression of the creature harnessed to fit the warships close range aggressive tactical goals. The other two sections of the ship are nearly identical in appearance, or as close to as any Bryn'adul should could ever be. Connected by six pillars above and below the Errindak section, two large platforms are suspended. They are lined with the primary offensive armament of the vessel, with a large central gap missing in each where missiles are fired through from pods in the vessel. These platforms also serve as the primary habitation areas aboard the vessel.

The vessels primary defensive measures focus on the anti air turrets spread across the length of the Errindak, and the Quilxyn colonies onboard. Clustered into small pods at regular intervals along the ship, the clustered Quilxyn create sections of overlapping shielding for the vessel, and are fed by small power generators placed in constructs near each pod. A large storage bay is located in the bottom platform of the Ragnos Ivicerator, where new Quilxyn are grown to be used to replace battlefield losses.

This tactical design mixes the best characteristics of both the wider Bryn'adul races and the Vaydralen into a homogenous design, crafting a warship ready to take the challenges of the galaxy head on.

Another good Bryn sub, I really like them. However I have some remarks:
  • Your sub is a bit underpowered (-1), if you want, you can fix it.
  • The second, you can't use the Heldrak Dropship as a support craft, it's too large:
    • "You must reduct your hangar capacity by 1 squadron per 100m of the larger vessel which is being included (for a ship of 400m this requires the removal of 4 quadrants, a ship of 430m requires the removal of 5 squadrons). The total hangar capacity of a ship must remain the same, the smaller carried craft must not be used to increase a ship’s carrying capacity. A Star Destroyer may carry up to corvette sized ships, a Battle-cruiser may carry up to frigate sized ships and a Dreadnought or SSD may carry up to cruiser sized ships."
  • And please make a list about what you're using under the Armaments and Defences.
That's all, please let me know if you edited these.
