Throughout the First Stages of the Second Great Hyperspace War , the Final Dawn suffered numerous setbacks in terms of Naval Warfare having either won Pyrrhic Victories or suffering Decisive Defeats at the hands of the Galactic Alliance and their Allies such as the Battles of Csilla and Korraban where Mawite Fleets emerged victorious over their enemy Counterparts at the cost of suffering heavy casualties and the Battles of Cormit , Kril'Dor and most recently the Battle of Jedha where Smaller Final Dawn Task Forces had been repealed by Large GADF Flottilas spearheaded by Powerful Warships including the Morai-Class Star Defenders and the Plenipotentiary-class Dreadnaught demonstrating the superiority the GADF Navy held over their counterparts in the Final Dawn Navy.
Thus to counteract the strength of the Galactic Alliance's Finest Warships , Grand Overseer Marlon Sularen enacted a Plan to create a the First of a new Generation of Capital Ships in order to further increase the Final Dawn's own Naval Strength and finally achieve Naval Supremacy over the Galactic Alliance once and for all. Modeled after the Absolute-Class Pocket Dreadnought , the Princeps Mark-II Heavy Battlecruiser is the Second of this new Generation of Warships specifically designed to counteract the Plenipotetiary-Class Dreadnought first encountered at the Battle of Jakku where a Final Dawn Blockade led by Admiral Hamilton where defeated by the 6th Sector Fleet.
The Princeps Mark-II Heavy Battlecruiser is equipped with a Vast Array of Powerful Offensive and Point-Defense Weaponry as well as being equipped with a Revolutionary Shielding System modeled after that of the Plenipotetiary-Class Dreadnought and that of other Alliance Capital Ships confronted in the past. In addition to a vast array of Countermeasures , Communications & Sensory Suites along with a large compliment of Starfighters , the Princeps Mark-II Heavy Battlecruiser can operate independently without the need of Escort Ships making it a formidable Vessel and perhaps one of the most lethal and dangerous ones to have ever been constructed by SularenCo throughout the Second Great Hyperspace War.
