SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Fashion Forward - No armor would be complete without a paintjob, and this one harnesses a colorful whimsy of pink and blue, to make a statement reflective of the wearer.
  • Defensive Measures - The armor's constituent materials and features provide excellent protection against many common hazards, particularly those encountered by Shadowrunners.
  • Melt into Shadows - Sensor and sense-dampening materials makes it less likely to be seen or heard. Additionally, the O/S Cresh system uses a custom CryptNet application send and access encoded communications to keep them private.
  • Swing and a Catch - With the combination of Liquid-Cable Launcher and the grip systems on the boots, the suit wearer can cross wide gaps or climb up vertical surfaces.
  • All-Access Pass - The integrated Sneakthief and additional tools like the Omnicutter allow the suit wearer to break into systems and places that aren't normally available.
  • Smart Armor - The O/S Cresh embedded system and Holo-Interactive GUI provides processing power and fast response time for data gathered from the HT Sensor Suit embedded in the armor, giving the suit wearer fast information on the battlefield.
  • Life is Precious - The Miniature Life Support System, Rebreather, and Oxygen Regulator keeps the suit wearer breathing even in toxic or no atmospheres.
  • Power Sip - The Refined Sleg Ultracapacitors increase the lifespan of the Power Cells, giving the suit wearer plenty of time to complete missions even when delays occur.
WEAKNESSES
  • Un-Free Radicals - Even resistant to radiation, exposure to high amounts can cling to the Anti-Shank Cloth and remain a threat to the suit wearer or surroundings if not properly decontaminated.
  • No Force Wizards Please - The armor was not designed to encounter the tradition weapons of Force Cults and will offer no protection to lightsabers or their variants.
  • Space-worthy but Space-leery - Designed to enter a vacuum and keep the suit wearer alive, the armor is not meant for extravagant maneuvers in space. EVA with caution.
  • Sonic Blast - As with lightsabers, the suit is not meant to resist sonic weapons at all. It will take the full brunt of their damage if hit.
  • Too Furious for Fast - The armor maintains strong protection against slugthrowers and vibro weapons, but will yield eventually to a non-vibro blade inserted slowly.
DESCRIPTION
Years spent in Darkwire had shaped expectations and preparations for the Shadowrunner Daiya, giving her a much more attuned perspective of what she needed. Her first set of armor and its accompanying facemask gave her a good foundation, though she kept pushing the limits into places the equipment could not entirely protect against. Up into space, down into the Abyss, and through the turmoil of streets against both enemies and friends, she slowly discovered the different ways where her armor could be improved. It took her a while to earn the credits from various jobs, but eventually Daiya accumulated enough to commission the Globex Corp, a prominent business on Denon, to build the new suit for her.

The Phase II Powderpunk Armor covers from head to toe, a new feature for Daiya. The HUD and suit's systems are powered by O/S Cresh and controlled by voice or hand gestures, and give her situational awareness from the sensor suite embedded in the suit. A versatile life-support systems and the suit's materials give her the confidence to venture into toxic or vacuum environments, while various tools and an ascension cable give her increased ability to get around. While Daiya dislikes hiding her identity, the suit is colored in her trademark pink and blue, with lights on the torso and legs that could be activated to make her stand out when desired.
