Today was one of those days that you didn't want to happen, not only had he received a less than friendly message from the Kraken coalition but now a familiar Cass Gemini wanted to discuss his actions. Best of all, it actually wasn't his fault for once. A few days before hand two of her crew came into the Blue Flame looking for trouble. They were rude at first, but once the booze began to pour they began to harass bar staff in front of him and the patrons. There was only so much he could have taken before he got up and taught both of the thugs a lesson. After throwing them around the establishment to the cheers of his Darkwire brothers, they ended up with a few broken fingers and bruises that covered most of their faces. In the end, they finally ran back to the ship where they belonged, humiliated and shaken by a kid half their age.

Dressed in casual attire, he ran a hand through his hair calmly and walked up to their frigate which was docked up at the port. Cartri wasn't nervous by the slightest about this confrontation with the pirate captain, he knew how to deal with people like her especially when the event wasn't his own doing. He was representing the whole of Darkwire here, one foot out of line could tarnish their reputation with a potential ally.

As he grew closer watchful eyes of the pirates snapped onto him in silent judgment. He wasn't sure if that was their natural act or the fact they'd already heard about what a ginger kid had done to two of their crew. Even so, he ignored their stares and pushed on to the entrance of the ship, where he glared up at two men before him.

"Cartri Deesa... I have come to speak with your captain." he said clearly "If you don't believe me, go ask Cass yourself"

One of yhe two pirate guards, suprisingly well kept for people in their profession shrugged at Cartri Keswoll Cartri Keswoll . no need for that, captain is in her bar expecting you. Come on, you armed? you can keep it, but we don't do concealed carry." he gestured at the shotgun slung over his back as a note that trying anything stupid would have him pinned and out numbered by heavily armed pirates.

He was led across the gantry and into the entertainment deck. It was hard to think this was a military grate frigate with the inside built like a Denon casino. At the end of the main corridor was a double door with a dark red glow behind it. He was ushered in and the guards left.

The room was spacious and elegant, and at the bar sat a very striking woman in red and black that was absolutely Cass Gemini, she slowly spun on her stool and looked at him, she was very attractive and her smile was inviting, but almost predatorial. "If I hadn't heard good things about the darkwire from my associates, you wouldn't be walking in here on your own legs, but as it is, sit, we need to talk." she referred to Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud but not by name or affiliation, it would be rude.

Cass gestured over at a table nearby that had a pair of drinks already sat on it, two tall glasses with a golden brown cocktail in it. Cass stood and walked in his direction.

"I've come unarmed, I trust you pirates will look after me well," He said confidently back to the guard. In this situation, there was no need to carry a weapon. All he needed was words to keep himself from harm, and even so, he could still fall back to the force if things got a bit hairy. Cartri acknowledged the guard's warning with a nod before following close behind him through the gantry.

The ship was far bigger than he imagined, with every piece of space having a purpose through its crew and whoever visited. It looked more like a casino than a battle frigate, but he was sure behind all that they had some serious firepower hidden away. Coming to a set of doors the guard ushered him into a large, cultivated room that really showed off a demon style he could mistake anywhere else. The guards behind him left, leaving the teen to his own devices. Although, Cartri certainly wasn't alone.

Sat at the bar was a finely dressed woman, dressed in a black and red color that suited her well. She spun around and offered him a smile, an expression that wasn't warm or cold. For now, he offered one back, even if it was about to fade from the stark warning she muttered from the fact his good reputation had saved his ability to walk "How reassuring... I'm happy my associates put me in high regard" he said almost sarcastically, looking cool and chilled out for a kid in this situation.

Following her motion to a table with drinks prepared, he briefly nodded and walked over to get himself comfy. He gently picked up the glass and gave it a quick sip, an impressed expression flashing his face from how good it tasted "Not bad..." he said with a shrug as the captain approached, forcing him to give her his undivided attention "Your frigate is sensational, Cass. I can see why you pride yourself over this beauty" Cartri said with a warm smile, a hand extending out for a respectful, firm handshake "It's just a shame we have to meet here in these circumstances..."

"Thank you, the Kyber means a lot to me, she is a good ship, and home." she raised her glass and smiled.

It was a shame she was having to deal with this, but a captain protects her crew, that's how it is and how it should be. She sipped from her drink and sized up Cartri Keswoll Cartri Keswoll . It spoke volumes of him that he was willing to come here to explain the situation, and didn't even come armed, it was a measure of respect that spoke to Cass and already put her in a mind to give his explanation the thought it otherwise might not receive.

"So go on then? Tell me a story. Why are two of my crew members currently sat licking their wound in my ship's infirmary? They have told me their story, but I want to hear yours before I decide how to handle this." she laughed lightly and made a hand signal to the barman who quickly strolled over with two small glasses and a bottle of rum, as he began to pour it, she gestured again and he simply placed the bottle down and walked off. Cass poured them each a glass of rum. The atmosphere had a little tension, but Cass was a natural host and could not help but give off a welcoming vibe.

"As you should be" he replied with a small nod, offering a slight smile while she sized him up.

The fact that Cass hadn't thrown him around the place like any other mob boss was already respectable in itself. For now, she was calm and collected, as if it was any other meeting between the two groups. It seemed like she was waiting for him to explain himself before deciding what she was going to do with him, and that meant he had to choose his words wisely while being honest about the whole situation. One thread of a lie could see him floating around in space for eternity.

"I'm sure their side will be entirely different from mine," the teen said, his mouth releasing a short chuckle while Cass ordered some more drinks over for the pair of them. Giving a nod of thanks to the waiter, he turned back to Cass calmly and put both of his arms on the table "Well, where do I start. I and a few other of my Darkwire colleagues were hanging out in the blue flame to wind down, talking and minding our own business. Then, two unfamiliar faces, which were your crew walked in drunk off their heads. We ignored them at first, but as time went on they got rowdier." The boy explained, slowly having a sip of his rum " A few of the patrons warned them to cut it out, but that was only met with aggression and a few unwise words. Eventually, our female barman at the time refused to serve them anything" he shrugged, staring Cass straight in the eyes with a look that suggested he wasn't messing around.

"You can probably guess what happened next. The two of them began bothering her and saying crap I won't even repeat because it really doesn't belong in our establishment or anywhere in that case. I tell you now, it was way more than enough for me to fling them both back over the bar and snap a few of their fingers like toothpicks" He grunted, tilting his head slightly before bringing the rum to his lips once again. Even though Cass was showing a cool and friendly head Cartri was more tense. The ginger seemed slightly pissed from the fact two of her crew had the balls to do whatever they wanted in their little peace and quiet, it simply wasn't on.

"To be honest, I'm very disappointed. Your crew should not have the mindset to walk into our establishment as if they own the place. I know we wouldn't walk onto your frigate and aggressively asked for a party, all Darkwire ask for is the same respect." he shrugged, now and then scrunching his fists to show off the bruises that had formed from his fists knocking a few of their teeth out. There was a reason why people around him called Cartri "Knuckles"

"Huh," Cass looked thoughtful, "...Alright, so your in the information game so I am just going to assume you didnt come without some kind of CCTV footage in case I didn't believe you right?" She waved her hand about as if she probably believed him anyway but slid the tablet across to him to upload anything he might have, she was a professional operator, she did things right. She would look over it but she had no reason not to beleive Cartri Keswoll Cartri Keswoll .

"So yeah, we're pirates, this crap happens, but there is a line between rowdy and disrespectful, and I have a reputation to keep, I have class, its why me and the certain other groups gel so well."

She emptied her rum and poured herself another, waving the bottle as a gesture to refill her guests. "Honestly I had a feeling it might be something like this.

So, now it comes to the cleanup doesn't it? They obviously took a hiding, and will be losing their pay for the month. But what does darkwire want, that is the question, and speak frankly, I know how this works, I'd be putting you guys in the same boat if it were the other way round."
she laughed, she seemed annoyed but in a positive mood as if this was not the worst thing she had to deal with. She was also quite keen on the altercation not souring relations between her and the Darkwire when they had literally only just been introduced.

Ideally she was hoping they would consider the ass kicking punishment enough and accept her discipling her crew appropriately, maybe they ask for a little to cover "damage and insult" costs. She didnt suspect this situation was egregious enough to warrant demands of full tribute or mess like that, not from a potential friend. But the darkwire were an unknown quantity. She was almost exicted to hear Carti's answer.
