Like all who age, the Lord of Hunger could not agree with the idea of his lifespan being limited and his body growing decrepit at a rapid pace under the influence of his own mutation and affliction. To ensure mobility even in the most dire of moments and worst physical condition possible, the Lord of Hunger commissioned Section C to create a device similar to that of the somewhat obscure Sith Ommin, ordering the secret division to pass it through to EnSol as a means to utilize in hospitals for better elderly care, though with the intent to bury the project after completion within the very bureacracy in between the massive corporate divisions of the company.
The device was reimagined, redesigned and made to fit in most rooms and spaces, decked out with a complex system of medical enhancements, drugs and narcotic supplies, IV supplements, etc. Adding an ATLAS droid brain to the machine in order to keep everything monitored seemed to be the smartest choice. With the added processing power of a Proton auxiliary droid brain, this ATLAS would be capable of keeping all systems in check and up to date, all the while monitoring the health of its user through various subcutaneously inserted electrodes and receptors. Allowing for swift action in emergencies and a proper medical care for those who have need for it while using this machine.
