Skirmish Murder/Death/Kill: Skirmish at Barab 1

Darth Xiphos continues to tear a path of destruction through every battlefield she fights in. She has suffered as many defeats as she has victories.

in the wake of the horrific revelation of her lover Syd having been the Murderous Darth Phyre, the very Slayer of her own parents, an emotionally shattered Xiphos turns her full attention back to her various enemies, namely, the ones who started her on her path to becoming what she is today.

Xiphos thirsts for the Death of The Bryn'adul.

Where they are concerned, almost no crime is too great to contemplate committing. Up to and including targeted Genocide, Torture, and even Enslavement to test the psychological limits of the creatures and those who side with them.

Swearing to continue her crusade at almost Any cost, Xiphos schemes to commit a terrible act on a known Bryn'adul colony on the irradiated planet of Barab 1, planned a little past dusk. She has sought out a number of allies of convenience to inflict a brutal attack at the very edge of Bryn'adul Space, seeking bodies, tech, and to generally sow the kind of terror and chaos amongst them that they have shown to countless others.

MISSION PARAMETERS:

1: SLAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE:

There is to be no quarter. Kill as many Bryn'adul as possible, no matter their age bracket, by any means necessary. Show zero mercy. Especially cruel methods of killing victims (Your choice of Canon Starfighter, Armor, or Weapon or OTHER) will reap you great rewards from Xiphos. Destroy any who dare fight beside them. Take their scalps as proof of kills for 500 credits

2: HONOR IS A DISTANT MEMORY:

Large, Powerful Bryn'adul will fetch a great price in illegal experimentation labs and make for an effective Psychological Attack on the Bryn'adul's very culture. No doubt many crime lords would pay high sums for a fully broken Bryn'adul slave. Capture the largest humanoid Bryn you can find with non lethal Weapons, find the fastest way to mentally break them to servitude (Including on sight Lobotomy and cybernetic implantation if necessary) For every Large Bryn'adul you capture alive, you will get a medium sized Aurodium ingot. For every humanoid drone captured, you'll be awarded 1000 credits

3: YOU GET WHAT YOU (BLEEP) DESERVE:

Acquiring tech is essential to understanding Bryn'adul thinking. Steal all organic tech examples, or samples if possible. Full examples will result in a hefty award. Samples will result in 4000 credits.

"What a ship..." Darth Phyre said to her favorite trophy servant, The Battalion as she stepped off of the Lambda Class Assault Shuttle, and onto a Hangar Deck of The Leviathan of Sev Tok.

Phyre, having long ago taken over The Amalgam's body, had the audacity to wear the suit of Xiphos's mentor, an all white armored catsuit, The Amalgam's Split Saber dangling from her belt. The Battalion was similarly garbed and armed.

Darth Xiphos waited at the foot of the ship. No one was present at the moment.

"Ahh, Julia!" Phyre gushed amicably, striding up to her, in her organic dark blue armor.

Xiphos said nothing. Only staring. She barely paid The Battalion any heed.

"Is everything in order for our Date? Did you pick a restaurant?" Phyre teased.

Nothing. No reaction.

"Xiphos...do you know where you are?" The Battalion asked out of curiosity.

Xiphos only nodded.

It's worse than I thought... The Battalion observed privately.

She's completely shattered.

"Y'know...I could heal your vocal chords if you ask nicely, dream girl..." Phyre mentioned.
"It would be a relatively simple bit of magic, my fingers gliding across your neck. I wouldn't even give you a Love-Choke..."

Xiphos simply walked past them both and waited for the other arrivals, with their forces. Xiphos had something truly terrible in mind today...

Kerest had broken her mother.

The woman who had been her rock in the unpredictable tide of the Red Eye, the savior of Sev Tok, and the Black Knight of Ziost, had fallen to the words of a mere fethboy ( Starlin Rand Starlin Rand ). Such had been her initial impression of what had happened within the secret facility on the icy planet, with the annoying Jedi briefly exerting so much raw, kinetic power that Cameron had been too slow to counter him, his striking blue eyes boring into her pink gaze with all the smugness of a corrupt politician. Fortunately, her mother had confessed to her all the details of the revelation, the long reign of terror of a centuries-old Sith Lady, the massacre of her parents Morris and Lysandra Crownwraithe, and yet more. Ever the dutiful daughter, Cameron had been quiet and calm as Laertia laid out the entire tragic history.

And yet, a part of Cameron couldn’t help but to blame herself for being too slow, knowing that if she had been faster, things might have been different. After all, she was a speedster, a rare specialist in the arts of Surge, Toocha, and their derivative powers, with ambitions of becoming the fastest in the galaxy. What good was she if she was slow?

Her hatred towards Phyre for what the Sith Lady had done to her mother also was marked also by disappointment in herself, of which the latter was just as strong as the former.

Finding her mother, along with Phyre and the Battalion, Cameron grimaced before approaching the trio of conflicted women, cringing as Phyre made her comment.

"Y'know...I could heal your vocal chords if you ask nicely, dream girl..." Phyre mentioned.
"It would be a relatively simple bit of magic, my fingers gliding across your neck. I wouldn't even give you a Love-Choke..."

That won’t be necessary, thank you.” The speedster cut in, protectively placing her diminutive frame between her mother and the two Brain Demon Witches. “When we’re ready, we’ll get a cloner to take care of it.” The Zanshi said. “At least we know they’ll charge us credits and not some thousand-year curse.” She finished derisively.

Irritants.

With every passing day, Osam's opinion of the vermin throughout the galaxy shifted in a new direction. A week ago they had been a serious threat that required dealing with, two days ago they had been misguided and lost sapients... a few of whom had finally shed their foolishness and stepped into the light of the Bryn'adul. The hybrid's carbine shifted ever-so-slightly, the iron sights lining directly onto the skull of one of the newly accepted Tenebrim: a horned man with as much musculature as some of the Sraelvun around him.

Today, the hybrid had decided that the humanoid majority which made up the galaxy were accursed irritants. Pests who constantly bit and stung at their betters with the best of their abilities. The nuisances were trying their utmost to wound and destroy the Bryn'adul and their proud Empire, but the best that they could manage was causing a few shooting pains hither and thither.

The Warlord redirected his attentions away from the Tenebrim and back up toward the orbiting starship which had breached the defenses around Barab I. It seemed that the fleet which usually stood in protection of the world had been sent away by command of the Ish'makra to deal with some minor uprising in the furthest reaches of the Emprie - it seemed very likely that it was related again to the Vaydralen, but he had been denied access to additional information.

Regardless, the warship that had arrived was significant in size, and the garrison which had been emplaced on Barab I had requested the presence of additional support in dealing with it. He had come at a moment's notice from a neighboring system, slipping under the proverbial radar thanks to the emplacement and its assistance.

No doubt, the foe would not bring the entire warship down to the super-construct of the highly radioactive world. Instead, they would likely try to destabilize the area through some degree of bombardment, and then attempt to land whatever armies they had within the confines of the behemoth in order to try their hand at subjugating the Draelvasier and their kindred.

It was for that reason that the hybrid had commanded that the Quilxyn Shields be raised to their fullest in order to prevent obliteration from orbit. If the foe wanted to fight with them, they'd be forced to come to ground - and then to enter the subterranean portions of the super-construct. The radiation near Barab I was intense enough that Osam didn't want many allied forces to remain upon the surface... and most of the facility was already below ground. It would be a waste of life and longevity to stand amidst the pulsing weight of a deadly star when the cool earth below offered a reprieve.

And then... they could teach the vermin a lesson about unsolicited visitors.

"Awww, you got her House-Trained? That's adorable!" Phyre trolled viciously as Cameron Crownwraithe Cameron Crownwraithe stepped in front of her Mother.

"Curses are impractical as forms of currency. Unless it's the Curse of Darth Mammon. That's a money making curse." Phyre added, eyes sliding back up to the silent Black Knight and smiling.

"You do have such eclectic ideas about family, dear Julia. I suppose when you've never had a normal one your mind will get all sorts of weird ideas as to what that constitutes. Tell me, were you planning on inviting Amy into this House you are dreaming up? First you're a vicious Marauder, and now you wanna play statesman. What ever am I going to do with you?" The red headed abomination teased.

Xiphos said nothing.

Do you think there might be something left of Amy, Julia? Is that why you hesitate to try and strike me down. I could show you so much. Just ask. I'll even show it to you as Amy if you want... Phyre whispered in a telepathic sneer.

No response. Not even telepathically.

Phyre sighed. "This bores me. Let's start killing, already!"

Xiphos curtly ordered The Leviathan to prepare for hyperspace jump mentally. She patted Cameron gently on the shoulder.

Don't rise to any bait she throws out. Never ever give her the satisfaction of seeing you angry or afraid... Xiphos advised her daughter mentally. We'll salvage the Battalion but we are gonna kill this schutta in front of us with Aunt Maple's help when we've gotten every last drop of use out of her.

As soon as all had shown who were going to show, The Leviathan jumped for Barab.

Present...

Osam Osam had been correct about at least one course of action. The Leviathan had opened up with a general, and merciless bombardment from it's Energy Torpedo arrays, firing every gun it had on on its front at the massive shield thrown up. The Sarka Frigates as they got closer to the planet showed no mercy either, hitting it with their composite laser beam main guns while 10 CR-20 Troop carriers, each containing 40 Model 3 Nuetralizers were deployed from the surface... Xiphos had at last decided to test her newest children, intended to soften up the ground forces before her Model 1 and 2 Reinforcements would come in off the Sarka Frigates.

The Model 3's had been equipped with deadly, explosive Weaponry, as Xiphos by this point had realized, only the most highly damaging weapons could tear through Bryn'adul Armor and Flesh, the goal being to wage a shock and awe attack that would make it easier to capture the wounded but alive for torture and experiments. Their side arm was the Bulldog RLR , and their main gun was the DC-15LE, which had been modified to fire explosive blaster bolts. Their melee weapons were Echani Vibroswords, modified with Ostrine Edges and Level 3 Vibration Cells, and the double barrel blaster cannons from a B2 Super Battle Droid had been mounted on both arms as a last resort. They had also brought Radiation Grenades as well.

Xiphos, Cameron, and the Battalion were aboard Xiphos's main warship of choice, The Shadow Bride, directly leading the Ground Attack. Darth Phyre was heading down an alternate way, the ship carrying 14 Model 3's of its own

Her Model 3 sons were positively enthusiastic about the whole thing. Rated for Radiation, they would be just as comfortable fighting above as below, at least, for a little while.

"When I get my hands on one of them Bryn, Mate, it's gonna look like the last ten minutes of all them slasher flicks where the teenagers die. Mark my words." Carl the Model 3 boasted to the Nuetralizer next to him, across from Cameron as they all waited at the entrance hatch, the Shadow Bride viciously shooting down a few Bryn fighters with it's loads of Weaponry.

"Ah, Battle! Glorious Battle!" Timmy The Model 3 next to Cameron said. "I'll say this much for House Io...it's never boring. And we got a Sub Matriarch with us!"

The Battalion, who was also next to Cameron, raised an intrigued eyebrow.

"So uh...this "House" Julia is forming...where do I rank in it?"

"Squeeze." All the Model 3's said in Unison. One Model 3 made a whip cracking sound with it's vocabulator and accompanying hand gesture to troll The Battalion for the sake of it.

The Battalion folded her arms. "Not funny."

The Model 3's all made the whip cracking gesture at The Battalion as the Shadow Bride landed very close to the complex. One CR-20 had already been shot down.

"Fethin' Trolls..." The Battalion growled under her breath as she stomped down the ramp. "This sort of disrespect would never happen in a proper Sith Organization..."

Timmy hefted his DC-15LE, chuckling.

"I enjoyed that..." he said as he filed out of the ship with his brothers, two being assigned to aid Cameron in her duties on the blasted landscape. Xiphos stepped out of the cockpit as the temporary landing site was secured. All who had agreed to show would be able to land in this area to launch their own efforts.

Cameron, let us show these Bryn'adul why they should fear House Io! Xiphos said telepathically as she activated her lightsaber, heading for a located entrance to the Super Construct below...
