  • Underwater: Thanks to its Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulse, Junk Sabers can operate under water without risk of being damaged
WEAKNESSES
  • Your mileage may vary: Though they are constructed from pre existing parts, the individual performance of each Junk Saber varies depending on who built them
  • Unreliable: Though they are exceptionally powerful, Junk Sabers can experience power fluctuations from time to time, especially in the middle of combat
  • Learning curve: Junk Sabers, like all lightsabers, are incredibly difficult to use without the guidance of the Force or force sensitivity
  • Ugly: Though it is said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", most would agree that Junk Sabers are objectively ugly looking creations
  • Preconception: Anyone who sees a Junk Saber, or more broadly speaking a lightsaber, may have preconceived notions about those wielding them
DESCRIPTION

As members of the Brotherhood fled from the consequences of Laphisto Laphisto 's failed coup attempt of the Diarchy, many of them were forced to flee without their possessions, including their lightsabers and other weapons. To ensure that they would be able to fulfill their duties as members of the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant decided to create a new lightsaber-esque weapon for them to use: the Junk Saber.

As is keeping in Mahporeenian tradition, the Junk Saber is designed to be constructed as inexpensively and easily as possible, making use of various pre existing components and materials to keep total costs as low as possible. Despite this, the Junk Saber is just as deadly and lethal as any other lightsaber, capable of cutting through most materials and armor with ease.

Though each Junk Saber is tailor made for the person or alien using it, they all share some design similarities, using the same type of components in their construction. Each Junk Saber can use one of four different grips: Trapped Grips, Pressure Grips, Force-activated Grips or Locking Activator Grips, and can equip either a Beam Gem Lens or a Vibration Lens. All Junk Sabers, regardless of design or construction, utilize Jolt Cell Mark I's, Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulses and either an orange, yellow or brown blade color.

These components and design features allow the Junk Saber to deliver especially power strikes and blows while being particularly effective against organic units, powered armor systems and droids. Unfortunately, this comes at a cost, with Junk Sabers being prone to experiencing power fluctuations and unstable blade geometry from time to time.

SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Inexpensive (for a lightsaber): As far as lightsabers go, the Junk Saber is relatively inexpensive to produce, thanks to the use of pre existing parts and various different materials in its construction
  • Lightsaber: Like all lightsabers, the Scrap Saber is a dangerous and deadly weapon, capable of cutting through most materials with ease
  • Deflected: The Scrap Saber is fully capable of deflecting blaster bolts that come into contact with the weapon's plasma blade
  • Underwater: Thanks to its Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulse, Scrap Sabers can operate under water without risk of being damaged
  • Overcharged: The Scrap Saber can deliver devastatingly powerful attacks thanks to its Overcharged Power Cell, making the weapon unpredictably powerful
WEAKNESSES
  • Learning curve: Scrap Sabers, like all lightsabers, are incredibly difficult to use without the guidance of the Force or force sensitivity
  • Preconception: Anyone who sees a Scrap Saber, or more broadly speaking a lightsaber, may have preconceived notions about those wielding them
  • Ugly: Though it is said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", most would agree that Junk Sabers are objectively ugly looking creations
  • Grounded: Unlike Junk Sabers, Scrap Sabers do not produce additional electric damage alongside their plasma damage, as they lack Jolt Cell Mark I's
  • Overcharge: Overcharging a Scrap Saber increases the likelihood of losing blade stability, which can affect the weapon's overall power during the course of battle
DESCRIPTION

As members of the Brotherhood fled from the consequences of Laphisto Laphisto 's failed coup attempt of the Diarchy, many of them were forced to flee without their possessions, including their lightsabers and other weapons. To ensure that they would be able to fulfill their duties as members of the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant decided to create a new lightsaber-esque weapon for them to use: the Scrap Saber.

Compared to the Junk Saber, the Scrap Saber has a few key changes that differentiates it from its predecessor. Unlike the Junk Saber, which uses a Synthetic Lightsaber Crystal deliberately created for the weapon, a Scrap Saber instead utilizes Phond Crystals, which are the accidental byproduct of certain alloy making processes. The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, which has a variety of different industrial processes based on the planet, has fairly large stockpiles of Phond but had no real reason to use the material until now.

In addition, the Scrap Saber can utilize either Crysallite Lens or Synthesized Byrothsis Lens rather than Beam Gem Lens or Vibration Lens, and it carries an Overcharged Power Cell in lieu of a Jolt Cell Mark I. Though this means the Scrap Saber loses the additional electric damage of the Junk Saber, it instead gains the ability to deliver "overcharged" attacks, dramatically increasing the weapon's plasma damage at the cost of blade stability.

Besides these differences, the Scrap Saber and Junk Saber are more or less the same, with each weapon having the exact same grip opinions, same standardized components, and same overall aesthetic. Whether or not a Junkyard Knight chooses to utilize a Scrap Saber over a Junk Saber comes down to personal preference, though more light sided affiliated knights may appreciate the use of a "natural" lightsaber crystal in the weapon over a synthetic one.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Lightsaber.
  • Size: Very Small.
  • Weight: Very Light.
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Incredible power: Even when compared to other lightsabers, Heavy Sabers are known for being exceptionally powerful, and are capable of easily cutting through most materials with ease
  • Deflected: Like all lightsabers, the Heavy Saber is capable of deflecting blaster bolts that come into contact with the weapon's plasma blade
  • Force siphon: The Heavy Saber's KyberSlag Refraction Crystal has a limited amount of force absorption, making it more difficult for enemy combatants to use the force against the user of the weapon
  • Underwater: Thanks to its Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulse, Heavy Sabers can operate underwater without risk of being damaged
  • Stable: Between the Junk Saber and the Scrap Saber, the Heavy Saber is the most stable weapon of the bunch
WEAKNESSES
  • Learning curve: Heavy Sabers, like all lightsabers, are incredibly difficult to use without the guidance of the Force or force sensitivity
  • Preconception: Anyone who sees a Heavy Saber, or more broadly speaking a lightsaber, may have preconceived notions about those wielding them
  • Force siphon: The Heavy Saber's KyberSlag Refraction Crystal does not discriminate against force users, making it equally difficult for the weapon's owner to use the force against their enemies
  • Stable: Though it has the most stable lightsaber blade, the Heavy Saber is unable to overcharge attacks and cannot deliver additional damage effects like electric damage to its enemies
  • Ugly(ish): Though a marked improvement over its predecessors, many would still find the Heavy Saber an ugly piece of equipment
DESCRIPTION
As members of the Brotherhood fled from the consequences of Laphisto Laphisto 's failed coup attempt of the Diarchy, many of them were forced to flee without their possessions, including their lightsabers and other weapons. To ensure that they would be able to fulfill their duties as members of the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, in conjunction with the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, decided to create a new lightsaber-esque weapon for them to use: the Heavy Saber.

The "heavy" in Heavy Saber is a bit of a misnomer, as it refers to the weapon's damage potential and not its actual weight, which in reality is quite light for a weapon. Thanks to its combination of Artificial Kyber-Sanguinite Variation and KyberSlag Refraction Crystal Lens, the Heavy Saber has the best damage output and reach of all three Mahporeenian designed lightsabers, though it lacks the additional electric damage of the Junk Saber and the ability to overcharge its attacks of Scrap Saber, making the weapon a stable but unexciting operation for Junkyard Knights.

In addition, the Heavy Saber has a unique effect to it unseen in the other two lightsaber variations: the ability to "absorb" force energy, making it far more difficult for enemy units to use the force against the user of the weapon. This does, unfortunately, go both ways, and anyone using the Heavy Saber will have an equally difficult time trying to use the force agains their own enemies.

Besides these unqiue attributes, the Heavy Saber operates in essentially the same way as its predecessors, having the same grip options and internal components, though the weapon itself is mainly constructed out of N&Z materials, making it potentially more durable than either the Junk Saber or Scrap Saber, though this does also mean that maintenance can be more difficult to perform on the weapon in the long term.
