Maze Runners (Lords of the Fringe Dominion of Dasid Anya)

Haven Pryde

Pirate Queen | ODF Marine
Haven lined up with the maze doors after she heard what the big boss had said and then watched as the god of shadows and death spoke and thought over her own callsign, what could she be good at? what would stick and what would be able to deal with others psychologically? War.... she would earn the callsign of war.

As Haven stood here she smirked over to@[member="Zaiden James-Greyson"] and nodded at him with a seductive smirk and then glared at @[member="Morna Imura"] and waited for the fun to start.

Jared snorted at the sudden expression of companionship. "Really guys. We are standing here for hours, let us get a move on it already." without waiting for an answer he stepped onto the turbolift which would take them to the Maze and readied himself by taking in as much Force as possible.

Haven heard the cloak clad male speak and climbed on the turbolift as well, she waited for the rest to get on so they could ride the lift to the maze.

Isis looked around and watched as they all stood there looking less intelligent and then with a commanding presence moved into the turbolift and looked to the rest Time a wasting, let's go was her only response.

Having been on the turbolift for a moment, Zaiden scooted aside for the rest ro climb on. His eyes remained floor-bound, thoughts staying clear and sure, adrenaline pumping as if he were headed to war. For in a way, he was. If he could conquer the maze, they would claim the planet for themselves. In all honesty, it was the best way to lay claim to planet he had heard of.

Garth, or 'Humms' as these individuals would know him, silently boarded the turbolift. The man had no visible weaponry, and no one here knew him from his life before, all they knew is that he possessed a small connection to the force, surely not one large enough to rely on it for self defense. But Garth was far from defenseless, his hand to hand skills alone would allow him to survive, and he still had some tricks up his sleeve.

Something caught Zaiden's attention, @[member="Garth Hummel"]'s entrance wasn't extravagant so that couldn't explain it, but something made his gaze rise to meet the intruder. Nodding his head in greeting, he instantly knew if the young man needed aide he would come to it. Why? He couldn't say anymore than what it was that caught him off guard. Holding his gaze for a long moment, near long enough to become awkward, Zaiden studied him. Finding nothing to explain his momentary stupor, he brought his attentions inward once more.

Isis stood near the male who just entered, it was a simple task at hand.... get in, get out alive and that was one Isis would be doing and as she stood here she looked to @[member="Garth Hummel"] and smirked a confident yet sadistic smirk and then looked over to the rest All ready? good she said as she used the force to close the turbolift and send it on it's way toward the maze opening...this would be a good day for them all, and for the enemies....it will be hell in a hand basket.

A cold glare was all @[member="Isis Fontana"] would receive. Once she'd turned her back that was, he didn't feel the need to cut her throat. Yet. He simply stood with his arms crossed, avoiding contact with the others and keeping to himself. 'Huums' had a simple mission, survive the maze, and dispatch of those he was required to. Nothing more would be done, now would anything less.

As the rest loaded on haven looked over at @[member="Garth Hummel"] and smirked seductively as the elevator descended into the maze waiting for it to come to a halt and let everyone out, she felt funny as she wasn't in her own clothes and was forced to wear the coveralls she did now but she could admit she still looks damn sexy still.

Sargon waited at the bottom of the Fringe with his team of men. Whatever the wait was upstairs meant little to him as long as his objectives were safe. The cavern inside of the great underground cities was incredibly large at the entry with a half a dozen ways to go. In fact looking up he noticed a completely new way to go, and at that he decided he needed to play with his helmet's orientation. The biggest problem with setting up his HUD to create a proper map was adding the third dimensional spec into it, and so he needed to force it a constant orientation.

The first thought he has was to use the biggest magnetic pull as the set point inside the labyrinth, but what if the labyrinth rotated around it. It could be used to alter the gravity flow, and if so it wasn't possible to use as the constant. Heat sensors wouldn't work either it was simply ever changing. He did have one other idea though, but it would require a manual scan of sound waves and he simply wasn't that good at playing with tech. So he went to basics.

He didn't have chalk but he did have fire. even if gravity switched the smoke would take a second to reorientated. If manually realigned after ever single gravity switch to continue to follow the breeze and smoke it would create a constant.

The turbolift came to a rest and Isis used the force to push it open and then exited while remaining calm and vigilant, her mind was set as she was about to defeat all enemy opponents walking up to @[member="Sargon Vynea"] with the gang she smirked at the Zabrak male and stood before him.

(OOC: Are we supposed to be coming to you? @[member="Sargon Vynea"])

Zaiden climbed quickly from the turbolift, eyes going around the area. Quickly deciding a path, he set out. A brisk walk, but not to fast. He was saving his speed for the official launch. He didn't know if they others planned to talk, or anything of the sort. But currently he waited, as soon as the start launched he would begin his true venture. Reaching into his pocket, Zaiden drew forth a folded piece of paper and a chunk of unshaped lead. Marking quickly with a small arrow, Zaiden then turned and making sure his Shadow Dagger remained hidden in his sleeve he made a chip into the wall to remember which he was going when he entered the hall. In case of ever needing to back track, or happening upon a symbol he already knew, he could slowly branch his way deeper and deeper into the maze. Eventually he would reach the end...

Returning his Dagger to it's hidden sheath, then continued on his brisk paced walk.

As they made their way toward the entry of the labrynth Haven swayed her hips for all to see, as she paid attention she noticed what @[member="Zaiden James-Greyson"] was doing and reached out with her mind to speak to him You do know that is cheating she playfully jested with him in her own way.

In what way? We are allowed paper and pencil. (being a well known stealther I'm going to continue that he wasn't seen with the dagger yet.) Zaiden sent back to the woman. With that he began to refocus on his task at hand. Coming to a fork Zaiden decided to continue along the right path, using his utmost skill again to mark the wall, then marked a coinciding arrow on his paper as well. Realizing he was in the lead thus far, Zaiden decided to slow down, as he had no need to hurry yet.

THUS BEGINS THE MAZE RUN

Crammed within a cube kilometres high, the maze constantly shifts in gravity. Lugubraa and Killik competitors run the maze frequently. Only one humanoid has ever made it through successfully, and it took him days. But the Lords of the Fringe are not here merely to gain respect by competing in the planet's favorite sport at the risk of their lives.

They are here to recover something once lost. Many have become permanently lost in the maze, kept alive only by water faucets and the bodies of the dead. Once there was an explorer who tried the maze run, here in the heart of the capital arcology, and lost what he thought would be his secret weapon: A miniature gravitic modulator, which he had smuggle in.

Recover that, and the Fringe's stealth vessels will be undetectable even by the most expensive sensors around.

Ashin was a poor battle meditator, but she could, at least, stay in contact with the minds of her people. Meditating outside the maze, she began to coordinate their search.

The turbolift opened, revealing a maze that stretched out in all directions, including up and down. Rave raised her glowrod and drew her knife, holding a piece of chalk in the same hand as the glowrod. At each intersection, she made a number and a straight or bent arrow to depict which way she'd come and gone. She worked methodically, and signed each witha Dathomiri glyph in case someone had a similar idea.

Elijah was a bad boy.

In a full teched-out suit, he had just about everything a hacker needed. Including tech that made his tech 'invisible' to any detection system.

His suit was unassuming, so he just played the part of supporter.

Except for the comm link to @[member="Ashin Varanin"]. He checked it now. "Python checking in, over." he whispered.

"Good luck in there, Python. Watch out for the gravity shifts -- they'll play havic with your suit if you get caught in them. Priority number one is finding that gravitic modulator."
