SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Brass hardware is alchemized for durability and damage resistance
  • Terentatek hide outer layer and straps are alchemized to retain Force Resistance quality and is incredibly durable and hardy
  • Drexl hide inner layers are alchemized for damage resistance and retain great amount of elasticity to allow for bulkier items
  • Mid-grade nullification resin lines the inside layers, providing concealment of some Force artifacts
  • Bag is made to be exceptionally modifiable with straps, clips, hooks, and different types of rings to allow for different needs of wear
  • Bag is expandable via a system of straps and zippers
  • 40 pockets total for placing all your things. 15 visible or easy to find, the remaining 25 are hidden via means of Force alchemy and shenanigans
  • Bags that are blood-bonded are imbued with a "weightless" quality, making it very light only in the hands of the bonded person regardless of its contents (unbonded bags do not have this quality)
STRENGTHS
  • Terentatek hide outer layers are Force Resistant and alchemized for durability, resilience, and damage resistance
  • Drexl hide inner layers are alchemized for durability and damage resistance, are also quite elastic to allow for bulkier items
  • Mid-grade nullification resin lines the inside layers, providing concealment of some Force artifacts
  • Bag is modifiable for the user's needs
  • There are lots of pockets for all your things. When you think you've run out of pockets or space, there's often more to find
  • Blood-bonded bags are imbued with a "weightless" quality, making it very light only in the hands of the bonded person regardless of its contents
WEAKNESSES
  • It's a bag, not a weapon. It carries stuff. You could hold it over your head in a rainstorm? Not quite as useful as a towel some would argue...
  • The nullification resin will work to conceal some Force artifacts but not all. More powerful artifacts can still leak their presence and be sensed by Force Users
  • Beyond the 15 obvious pockets, the remaining 25 are not inherently easy to find. Finding all 40 pockets on purpose takes a tenacious, persistent and Alchemy-wise person
  • Users who have stowed items away in the hidden pockets are liable to forget about them, or lose them if they find themselves incapable of uncovering the same pocket again
  • Force-void fields will render the weightless imbuement on any bonded bag null and make the 25 hidden pockets impossible to find until the bag is taken out of the void. It is possible items in those hidden pockets disappear into the Nether and wind up randomly in the listless edges of the Behelian Canyon as some have noted upon investigation that their items are gone - no one has actually claimed to find the missing items in the canyon, but that's the rumor
  • Obnoxiously Oversized Things do not fit in the bag. You cannot put your kath hound in there, but his food bowl might fit if you open a few expandable sections and wedge it just right
DESCRIPTION
Crafted for the wandering space adventurer, the first incarnation of this bag was used by Dissero himself on his many adventures to store away supplies, trinkets, and all manner of shinies found on his heists/escapades out of necessity. Having owned an Ouiblette Satchel crafted by his good friend Rave Merrill for some time, Dissero found that although her product was quite handy - it tended to fill up inconveniently fast. Upon inheriting the whole of Rave’s Archives, notes and projects, Dissero discovered much to his delight that he’d also come to reclaim the elusive Belt of Bodo Baas after watching it go years prior during Velok’s auction following the Great Rudrig Heist. He’d had all of Velok’s notes concerning this particular artifact but had not the chance to study it until now. Rave had been careful to keep this highly valuable trinket and the knowledge of its alchemy out of the hands of her pupils, but in the hands of another Master Alchemist it was just the ticket to creating the Marauder’s Bag.

The Marauder’s Bag is a marriage between the two - offering a form of carry and concealment for Dubious Force Things as well as a way to give the vagrant archivist, student, and traveler a means of carrying all they need with room to spare.

“Wearers of the original Belt of Bodo Baas have found that it always has more pockets to hold more small things. This quasi-mystical property of construction was reminiscent of the home of the Jedi Master Plett, on Belsavis, which possessed hideyholes in apparent defiance of the laws of matter. “ - AEL Bodo Baas Gunbelt

Much like the AEL Bodo Baas Gunbelt and the original Belt of Bodo Baas, the Marauder’s Bag employs the use of pockets. Lots and lots of pockets. In all it has 40 with only 15 of them being inherently visible at any given time, the rest being hidden. Not quite as many as the 65 pockets found on the original Belt of Bodo Baas, but larger in scale, many also being expandable and containing pockets within pockets, much like a utility bag. The bag itself is also expandable by use of buckled and zippered sections that can be flattened when not needed. Just when you think you’ve run out of space, a quick search can turn up a pocket empty and ready for use.

Unlike the Bodo Baas Gunbelt, the Marauder's bag does not offer anything more to the user than what has actually been put in it. This does not account for forgetfullness, however, where one finds something placed in the bag months prior and had simply forgotten about it. As a matter of fact, it's fairly easy to lose things in this bag, as the hidden pockets are not always forthcoming on un-hiding themselves at the user's whim. More often than not it's easier to find things when you're not actually looking for them and easier to store things when you're not really paying attention to where your hands go.

Finding all 40 pockets on purpose takes a tenacious, persistent and Alchemy-wise person.

Users of the bag will find that the terentatek outer layer keeps their possessions within safe from manipulation by Force and will be pleased to find that it wears like iron and has a lasting quality. The alchemized brass hardware gives it an antiqued appeal and are also everlasting, resistant to damage and incredibly strong.

A middle layer of mid-grade Nullification Resin will help conceal the presence of some Force artifacts within, though the more powerful items can’t be entirely contained and are likely to be noticed by a high-level Knight or Force Master. The inside layers of pockets are crafted of alchemized Drexl hide, making them incredibly wear and damage resistant, but curiously flexible and stretchy, too, allowing the bag to accommodate bulkier items one would think wouldn’t fit otherwise.

The outside of the Marauder’s bag is complemented by a myriad of removable terentatek hide straps with various pieces of alchemized brass hardware such as snaps, buckles, and rings - offering convenient convertibility for the user to wear the bag in numerous ways. The straps are alchemized for extreme durability.

As a final property of the bag, each one is set with a brass emblem on the face into which archaic symbols are carved and the Jal Shey technique of Imbue Item has enabled the seal to give the bag a near-weightless quality. No matter what is in the bag, it never becomes uncomfortably heavy. Because each bag is made-to-order, the buyer must donate a sample of their blood which is then used in the alchemizing process to attune the emblem to them, enabling this weightless property to work only in their hands.

For anyone else, they get the full weight of everything contained within.

Due to the complexity of crafting this item it requires exclusive attention from Dissero and a good deal of time to complete. Buyers seeking to own one of these bags must place their name on a waiting list, leave their blood sample and make a down-payment for the cost of materials. It can take several months to a year to complete the bag depending on the requested design of the buyer, but is arguably well worth the wait.

Alright, looks awesome. May have to get one some day. That said, because of the alchemy in the item, I'm going to ask for a quick 10 post dev thread.

Digging out the classics, I see. Looking good, despite its age, but please link Dissero under Manufacturer to his bio (and do the same in this submission, since I notice it has the same minor issue). I'd also suggest linking some of the rarer materials used, even when they can be found on Wookiepedia. There's considerable leeway there, but I'd at the very least do the nullification resin, probably the Drexl and Terentatek too.
