Mandalorian Tournamentarium: Clans of Mandalore Dominion of Velmor

Luke nodded at comment of them being there and that being the important part. As the question of what clan he was a part of came up however he leaned his head to the side pursing his lips and letting out a groan, "Well, technically, not really any. I've just kind of gone with whoever was nearest and followed them. Up until recently my family was relatively...irrelevant, so to speak. And weren't particularly dedicated to anyone in particular." he answered. He wasn't entirely sure yet where he was gonna go with that, he hadn't decided yet. He'd been looking at the various clans but he was still uncertain.

He did have to turn and raise an eyebrow as the other woman made mention of not leaving her rancor for to long, "Well that's...interesting." he said with a bit of an amused smile.

Suddenly a flag came up ([member="Kanta Tukka"]) and just seemed to run about on two legs, he leaned his head back, his first instinct was to shoot the thing, but it was apparently not an enemy, he glanced at one of the trainers, "Uhh, are we supposed to do something about that. Also...that was not entirely expected. That really does not seem like it should be a thing."

“Do you have bacon?” The creature known as Ahani Zambrano blinked and limped over to the sudden appearance of [member="Kaine Australis"], not from some form of injury but the lack of a boot on her right foot.

From the settle of her clothing, it appeared the King and his minions attempted to dress her properly, but the shoe was lost. Her stocking clad foot rested on the balmy ground.

“When... when we get up, my daughter makes us bacon... daught-er. Daugh-tuh-err... little tiny girls running in a row. My one your one sitting on a toad.” The woman hummed and sang, her voice a nursery rhyme in the planet too docile and pleasant to elicit any form of lucidity.

“If... if there’s no bacon... it’s not time to wake up, yet.” The Master, who split space itself to forge the Csillan invasion, curled up at Kaine’s feet, her head on his boot, and attempted to fall asleep. She was... small. A sliver of the woman, who shook Kaine in fear. Manu’s beleaguered mother, who bore and lost without ceasing.

The woman who fractured reality to keep Kaine’s Master alive.

“Why are the lights on?”

He noticed the sudden shift in force signature but a increase as well, He noticed a smaller signature moving off but the larger signature was where the increase came from. Could either be one of the opponents moving off else where or a distraction, Either way the bigger signature meant a possibly bigger threat so he went for that instead want to take on the bigger target first. He motioned to [member="Yasha Cadera"] to let her know where he was going before he did a brisk jog towards the signature in question bull rushing through the bugs that get in the way as he made his way to there location hammer tightly gripped in his hand.

[member="Mig Gred"]

[member="Mig Gred"] and Tamar seemed to be having fun, if the readout in Yasha’s comm was any good. She grinned under her helm, rushing with a nod to [member="Skorvek"] as Yasha hopped onto the top of the maze, running across the wall girders as the buzz droids descended in a swarm. Stealth useless, Yasha charged her war hammer and let fly a powerful blast of circuitous electric energy. Buzz droids descended to the floor, quivering and shedding their wings to limp on.

“Aha!!” Seeing Tamar and Mig in the distance, Yasha rushed on top of the maze, before seeing her proximity alarm trigger for [member="Kaine Australis"]. Laughter alive in her voice, Yasha sent Kaine a brief message. “C’yare? You joining the fun?”

The distraction took many seconds, with which the opportune fighter might take advantage.

Tamar laughed, shoving Mig to the side as a buzz droid’s stinger veered toward him.

“Yes! You will save me, from many many... is that Yasha?! How did she get up there?!”

Tyran wasn't too familiar with how his opponents fought in battle so he moved cautiously, sticking close to the small crags between the hillocks. His charcoal colored armor didn't exactly help with the green landscape around him. He gripped his multipurpose combat rifle, set up in its long range configuration of a thermal scope, bi-pod and underpowered blaster rounds, a little tighter as he crawled on his stomach over the edge of a hillock and set up his perch for the moment. He could see the golden armor weave plainly but wasn't picking up anything on his thermal scope.

"No heat signatures on thermal." He called to Adenn. "They must be hanging back a little as well. Wanna get bold and push forward and spring any probable trap they might have set up for us?"

Azure hummed as she worked to set up the infirmary, and smiled as she "treated" the actors. As pointless as she found this test to be, she could not fail. She wrapped "sprained" limbs in cloth, and those who weren't "critically" injured were left to their own devices inside the building as Sterling set up their defenses. Taking a moment to pause the fake treatments, Azure looked through the cameras on her data pad, and observed the camera feeds. Satisfied that nothing unusual was on them, Azure put the data pad away, but still in view, as she sat down to sing.

“Heed the call of the morning sun
Feel the sting of a winter rain
Glory to the warriors of light
Follow the sound of battle drums
The bravest souls are not lost in vein”
As Azure sang, the actors in the room would feel a small boost in energy.

Mig chuckled a bit at Tamar before she pointed out [member="Yasha Cadera"] up on the wall. Well, that wasn't what he expected to happen, but this was Yasha. She had a tendency to do the unexpected. He could also feel a powerful Force user approaching. Probably @Skorvek. He looked at Tamar, seeming to get an idea.

"She's distracted, and Skor's coming. Want a lift?" If Tamar agreed, Mig would use his Force telekinetics to quickly lift her up and get her close to Yasha, allowing her to take advantage of whatever was taking Yasha's mind off the fight.

Arm’s thinner than expected wound around [member="Kaine Australis"]’ ankle. She nuzzled into his foot, her breath came easy. Kaine’s shadow kept the sun from her eyes, and comfort came to Velmor

A monster asleep.

Her breath mewled like a kitten; left foot kicking lazily in the dirt. Slumber lasted too short a time in one so old... yet

In the crowd, a ten year old girl peeled up from the hem of her sitter. Her eyes were identical to Ahani’s, hair and face younger, but a match.

Raya Zambrano searched for her mother for days. The ten year old daughter of Darth Carnifex and Ahani peeked up at the screens, munching on a bag of popcorn while she saw the fights.

They were funny! Especially the Mando in the closet ([member="Beth Cadera"]), and the Aboonian @Skorvek. But then... she saw...

“Mommy.” Racing down the bleachers, Raya went as far toward the stadium playing field as she could, her watcher hot on her tail.

“Moom! Mommy!!” The sound carried. Ahani’s eyes snapped open. Her body jerked to her feet, stumbling into [member="Kaine Australis"] and gasping in alarm.

“Dalia? D-d-Dalia, wh-where.. Manu?! Manu where are you?! Where... wh...” The woman circled, hand in her hair, eyes not the wild carnage of the Empress-Consort, but the frantic gaze of a mother whose children were missing.

“Mommy! It’s a game! You’re playing a sparring game!! Moooommy!!” Raya waved and hopped up onto the guard rail.

Ahani’s breath caught. Wild eyes settled on Raya’s face and the panic which began to shake the arena subsided.

“My love... oh! Of course! I, Matilda Livingsbottom am playing a game!” She made an about-face, and waved at Australis and @Darlyn Exceon. “Have at thee, Sirs!! Haha!”

He wasted no time making a entrance as he waited till he was abit closer to [member="Mig Gred"] and Tamar before he leaped up in the air hammer raised and surged with electricity, He aimed his decent to Mig before he used the gams jumps jets to move him forward and letting out a powerful slam of energy and lightning that surged all around him frying every bug that got caught and burning away any foliage that maybe in the way. The wave continued for abit in the hopes of it striking Mig and Tamar at once but once he made his landing he stood up and readied his war hammer for combat against Mig, He noticed Yasha was distracted by something which annoyed him a little and sent a small transmission keeping his eye on his opponents while doing this to try and not lower his guard but Even [member="Yasha Cadera"] could tell Skor was abit annoyed in his tone.

A warrior does not leave themselves open with distractions in battle Yasha..

Was all he sent to her in the hopes that it'll get the point across.

“Boost me! I’ll take her.” Tamar laughed at their luck, the absolute luck of Yasha having such a momentary fault. Mig was good for it, eliciting a ‘wheee!’ From Tamar, with a bunch of giggles.

“Oh Mig! You can tk toss me anytime you like!” Laughing into the comm, Tamar readied her stun pistol, and targeted Yasha’s centre mass.

[member="Skorvek"] chided Yasha on her sudden launch to the top of the maze. [member="Mig Gred"] and Tamar were closing in. That should have been the top priority, until Kain’ik mentioned a being of utter chaos.

Her hammer lowered by inches, as she scanned the arena.

“Ahani Zambrano is here. She’s not lucid... Tuulu, send a priority one communique to Bastion. Tell [member="Darth Carnifex"] we found his wife. [member="Kaine Australis"], status?!” The Echani wife of the Emperor of the Sith was a powder keg. Insane she was unpredictable, lucid she destroyed psyches and massacred armies. “[member="Darlyn Excron"], you’re lead on the spar. Keep her occupied. I’ve sent word to the Sith. If it’s a spar she’s here for... keep her in one.”

“Empress-Consort A-ahani is...” Tamar paused, giving her position away behind Yasha.

“It’s okay, Tamar. Keep your helmet on, and you’ll be fine.” Yasha rushed the top of the maze, clicking her comm over to another channel. Before she could talk, Tamar looked down at her pistol, and gulped.

“Tamar here. The Empress’ mind only becomes lucid during moments of chaos. If we keep the atmosphere pleasant and not panic the Velmorians, she’ll continue her current hallucination. [member="Azure Djitred"] I need you! Azure, can you sedate an Echani Force sensitive? [member="Sterling Kinslayer"], there’s a girl on the stands barricade. Her name is Raya. You’re awesome with kids, take care of her. Keep her near.” If the medics could figure out a way to keep her sedate, everyone could relax. “[member="Cleru"], [member="Beth Cadera"], crowd control. The Velmorians have no clue who she is... and [member="Noah Corek"] , [member="Varian"] [member="Adenn Kyramud"] and @Tyran Nemeck put on a good show. The best way to keep her docile is for as many people around her as possible to be focused on enjoyment.”

Tamar levelled her pistol at Yasha’s side, “So... have at thee, Mand’alor!”

She fired, pot shots striking in an arc near Yasha’s shoulder. The Mand’alor laughed, turning to deflect a bolt with her hammer. The battle was ON.

As if he needed the prodding.

Darlyn had been waiting patiently for the opportunity to have a good fight, seated on the ground of the arena, and when Ahani had been put under he felt there wasn't really something to worry about. Which was dull and boring, to be fully honest. But when she got all excited to have a bout well, he grinned wide and stood up, dusting off his new tunic from where he'd been seated and grinned at her directly. "Well! let's have a good one then eh?" He laughed and drew his Tricksaber, the amber crossguard saber flaring to life. With the crystals inside, it was a simple enough thing for his left hand to send bolts of lightning into the weapon, letting him charge the weapon visibly with arcs of purple lightning.

IN his spare hand he drew the lightsaber of Exar Kun, the dark weapon's brilliant blue blade coming to life as well. Weapons in hand, Darlyn bent down and began suffusing himself with Force Speed again for like, the fifty fifth time ever. This time he didn't dull pain, as he wasn't going to be going enough of a distance to warrent it. Breathe in, and Kaine was back up. "Wuss!"

He laughed and kicked himself off, sprinting headlong at Ahani. Fortune favored the guy moving at superhuman speed swinging two lightsabers at each of Ahani's shoulders.

That was the saying right?

Turning his head to gaze at the King quizically, Adenn shook his head in reply to [member="Tyran Numeck"] 's question. He had never been snapped at, especially not this way. It was a rather strange place it seems that they snapped at others, but in a nice way. Then they were off, and Adenn was running full tilt towards the flag. Suddenly it developed legs and started running, letting out a weary sigh, Adenn slowed down. If it was running around, it'd go more into the open or into cover, exposing him to his enemies. Enemies that hadn't done much so far from what he could see.

Shaking the thought from his head, Adenn slid neatly into cover. He was still far enough away from the little flag thing, but also close to his ally. Listening to what the man said, Adenn chuckled aloud before speaking.
"Perfect. I think they know me, so they might prefer to hit me harder than you; I've been somewhat of a nuisance to them before." Adenn chuckled again, remembering things. "I'll play bait, and if they start shooting, you can hit them back."

He was about to rush out and draw attention to himself when he received the information from [member="Yasha Cadera"]. So, they had to keep some Sith lady calm by not causing chaos, and those in the arenas had to entertain the onlookers to keep the mood going. Adenn could do that, he could do it very well. Smirking behind his helmet, Adenn turned his focus to his ally.
"Well, things just got interesting. If we need to put on a show, why don't we do it in style?" He laughed then, looking around the arena, already planning things. Turning towards Tyran, Adenn grinned, this would be fun. "So, let's get down to it."

With that said Adenn was off, he charged out into the open, parallel to where the flag thing was currently running. He was hoping that something would happen, but either way, once he reached the short wall he had been aiming for, Adenn jumped onto, then off of, the wall. Using the momentum, he propelled himself forward and towards the flag, using his jetpack to help him pick up speed. He wouldn't land close to it, especially with it now running away, but it would look flashy and no doubt got the crowd up in excitement. Smiling behind his helmet, Adenn kept flying forward, ever closer to the flag, waiting for something to happen.

And how exactly was Sterling supposed to handle a kid from down here? He shook his head and casually slung like, three or four patients over his shoulders. They were exceptionally light for one reason or another, and this particular building hadn't many people to tend to. Looked like one kid more left, who he reassured quietly before standing up. They were good little actors however and kept their calm, as he walked back across the 'warzone' and deposited them in the medical camp he had setup for Azure.

He wandered back across, and reactivated the camera he'd placed there while he calmly picked up the kid. The feed showed one of the 'bad guys' walking in, and Sterling indicated the kid should be quiet while he pressed against the doorway into the hall. He could just barely watch through the camera as he moved, until.. Sterling's fist was pretty loud as it punched through the wall and hit the man in the shoulder, knocking him down. Good enough to count, he left afterwards, picking up the camera on his way out.

He set the kid down with Azure, and figured now was the best time to handle Mand'alor's orders. He walked out, found the child in the crowd up at the edge, and with a sprinting leap dug his retractable beskar claws into the wall. He casually climbed up it, until his masked face was level with her. He used one hand to deactivate his helmet, and attached it to the mag clamp on his waist. Face to face with the child, he offered a small smile. "Want come with?"

Little Raya stood wide eyed as [member="Sterling Kinslayer"] scaled the arena wall and talked to her.

“Do... do I want a lizardy-back ride from a giant awesome dude who climbs walls?!” The child squeaked, hopping up and swinging her arms at her sides. “IS BASTION GUARDED?! Eeeeee!!! This is so awesoooome!!”

Little Raya Zambrano jumped up and clambered onto Sterling’s shoulders, no concept of danger in such a place.

“Yahooooo!! Mom! Mommy! Look! I got a climby guy!”

But Ahani was far too busy to listen to her daughter. The Sith Empress-Consort watched [member="Darlyn Excron"] and [member="Kaine Australis"] go at it.

Lightning... something in the way The green one threw lightning... Matilda didn’t know anything about lightning... did she?

“Light...ning...” Silver eyes loomed down on her fingertips, which sparked and fissured with crimson light. “Guys?”

The men, they must be her teammates! The one who helped her nap... ‘Matilda’ fazed her hands, bands of lightning arcing between them.

“I can use lightning... see?!” A slow grin spread across her face, as Ahani launched between the two Mandalorians, and let loose two arcs of pure electric fury. “I can play too! Let’s play!”

So much lightning, electricity, Darlyn couldn't tell if he was laughing in pain or not as he felt first Kaine drag him away from his initial target, then Ahani's lightning of crimson which struck him dead on. Right in the chest, the crimson lightning coursing through him, lacing his mind with pain that only became dulled as his presence in the Dark was flared to life. Oh this was, so delightful. He felt his weapons disengage, falling from his hands only to pause in the air, freeing his hands to unwrap the electric whip that was bound around him. "Thanks for the boost you two, And here I was thinking I would have to produce all the shocking twists myself!"

He laughed loudly, the red lightning still sparking around him as he focused on it. Red wasn't his color, really didn't suit him, but he needed the electric power they both had given him, which he was still bouncing around his body keeping clear of his heart. The lightning changed blue, then purple, and as Darlyn began to pump himself full of power, accepting that this was probably the worst idea he'd had in a while, the light became such a blinding light it seemed to turn full white. "Presents beget presents! So lets have a party!" The relic lightsaber was returned to his belt, the amber crossguard igniting in Darlyn's right hand as the left was raised, aimed at both Ahani and Kaine.

And with a flash, the bright lightning arced at them both, amplified far beyond his normal limits. You could taste the ozone from the stadium's seats as the might of a storm was brought to bear against them both, courtesy of their generous gifts of additional voltage. For a Darksider, he sure felt he knew how to bring out the bright side in this situation.

Mig could feel [member="Skorvek"] approaching, and electricity surging through his hammer. Mig was quick with tossing Tamar up to where [member="Yasha Cadera"] was before using the Force to leap out of the way of the strike, landing just out of range of the blast. He flicked his Trayc'kad back to its saber mode before looking at the Anubian with a chuckle.

"Gotta say, good move." Mig then ran to Skor, taking a swipe with his blade.

"I mean sure, but you're going out there first." Tyran grinned behind his helmet as he quickly changed the up his rifle so it was in the auto-blaster configuration rather than long range mode. He rolled down from his slightly elevated position and came down behind Adenn. He'd let his teammate provide the flash and flair that the crowd would enjoy while Tyran kept his eye out for their enemies. Rather than make himself an open target like Adenn Tyran went the opposite way darting quickly through the crannies. He could see Adenn nearing the flag and neither of them had seen either of their opponents as of yet.

"What are they waiting for?" Tyran wondered out loud.

Azure's head perked up when [member="Yasha Cadera"] called her name out over the coms. A frown spread across her face as she thought of what she had on her. She could do it, one of her medicines had a strong calming herb used for sleep, but how would she get the Echani to drink it? Ideas formed in her head, but none of them would work for what was needed. A sigh escaped her, as she clicked on her communicator.

"This is Azure Djitred. I can sedate her, but in order to do so she'd need to drink one of the medicines I carry. Is there any way someone could help me with that? What is her location as well?" Azure stood, and checked the data pad once again to see what was going on over the cameras. Everything seemed to be doing fine, so she put the data pad away. Could she really just leave during the contest? [member="Sterling Kinslayer"] had set up defenses...

[member="Kaine Australis"] [member="Darlyn Excron"] [member="Ahani Zambrano"]

Sonics.

I remember sounds best.

The sonic boom from... Australis.

“Helloooo puppet.” [member="Kaine Australis"] standing in a ring, playing soldier. A glance round shows not terrified soldiers in a battle for Chiss supremacy, but peaceful fans cheering on entertainments... did I arrive under malicious circumstances? “Didn’t finish our date on Csilla, did I?”

Was I alone?

“WHEEEEE!! Mommy! I’m climbing with a lizard man! Eeeheheheheeeee! You can be Matilda any day!” Raya’s laughing, in the presence of a reptilian humanoid I don’t recognize. In... armour?

“Mandalorians... Manda.. is that...” I don’t get to finish my thought, as a jolt of lightning tosses me against the side of the arena.

And the lull of the crowd usurps my lucidity... the happiness of my daughter. Calm... this world is too calm...

“Nh-no! No, no, nnnnhhh-rrrrghhh!” Smacking myself in the Temple does... it does... smack... ssmmmmack...

Smmmmmmmm.... Smmmoooo

Smock for the pretty painters, cheering in their rows. Tall ones thin ones happy wearing bows.

“Hehehe oh good one, you.. you... yhh... there’s no face for a name... my face is Matilda’s face! Oh, I like this one! Have at thee, knave!” ‘Matilda’ rocked back and forth, zooming toward [member="Darlyn Excron"], body strengthened via the Force.

Darlyn felt his eye twitch a bit in pain, but it was quickly suppressed. Pain only helped with the Dark Side, and Darlyn could ignore the pain the sonics were giving his ears if not the damage they might be causing. As it was, it was hardly on long enough to do permanent damage, so who cared? Gave him a moment to observe 'Matilda'.

So she was a bit off her rocker, ironic considering she seemed to enjoy rocking back and forth here. Darlyn smirked and charged his hand with lightning again, this time the white light flaring up even quicker than before. "Call me Darlyn." He laughed loud as he prepared a strike. There was no real way to tell how she was coming at him, so he opened himself up intentionally. He made a wide horizontal swing of his lightsaber, left to right, before pushing his left palm outward. The intent was to either strike her with the non-fatal blade, or as his left hand revealed, hit her with the charged lightning palm strike.

And even if he missed her, the lightning was still aimed more or less at Kaine, so it was a win either way! Darlyn loved simple moves, kept it nice and easy to keep track of what he was doing. All the while of course his body seemed to radiate the electricity, the bolts arcing across his robes and even seeming to jump to the ground from the hem of his pants. Without worry for consequences he was fully letting loose, and all that would entail later as he gave the air around him that distinct taste.
