Public Maiden Voyage (Sith/Sith Allies Welcome)

chris-chaproniere-preseq-33-x-dlc-luxotania.jpg

It wasn't often one owned the largest private yacht in the galaxy. Rivalling a Super Star Destroyer in sheer size, Saryn wanted to make a bold statement about the wealth and respect one loyal to the Sith could gain, having personally designed the Jewel of Panatha, as the ship had so been affectionately named by Saryn in honor of a world he considered a home away from home on many an occasion. For it's Maiden Voyage, the Jewel would be travelling a pre-planned route around the Outer Rim, stopping off at various beautiful and exotic worlds during the journey. A great many important guests had been invited to join the festivities, a chance to get away from their troubles for a few weeks and live the life of pampered luxury away from the riff-raff of the galaxy, all expenses paid for by the Enarc Trade League. This was no public cruise liner, after all, but Saryn's personal mobile palace. And he intended to share his wealth generously. As the last shuttles delivered the last of the passenger compliment, the Jewel of Panatha departed from it's drydocks above Enarc, setting off for the first time!

The most important guests had been invited to a special VIP party in Saryn's personal quarters aboard the vessel, in a spacious hall set aside for private parties. Music and laughter filled the room, while Twi'lek waitresses clad in revealing bunny girl outfits served drinks and other refreshments to the guests. Saryn relaxed comfortably on a couch with a glass of Alderaanian Wine in hand, having dolled himself up in a trendy red dress and high heels, and no small amount of makeup, awaiting the arrival of his twin masters, who had arrived fashionably late aboard their own private shuttle.

The Dark Lord's suite was humbler than the one He boasted on Malsheem, consisting of a single office chamber with an adjourning living area and sleeping quarter. All were sparsely decorated, with only a few replica art pieces hanging from the walls or sitting on marble pedestals. Despite the spartan accommodations, the entire suite radiated power and influence. Instead of living guardsmen, the entire suite was protected by several Kageja iv Akmuo fashioned into obsidian statues set in various poses. Though they were now inert, at the first sign of any uninvited guest they would rouse from their stupor and seek out the trespassers without pause or mercy.

Right now, the Dark Lord and His doppelgänger were sequestered in their suite. Both were exquisitely dressed, fitted with the finest shell-spider silk garments and bedazzled with pendants and various gem-capped rings. Gone were the monastic vestments of the Sith Order, replaced by finery that would make even the most fashion-forward socialite blush with admiration and jealousy. Few Sith could manage the duality between their religious station and that of the material galaxy, the Dark Side often corrupting physical flesh to a point where they would appear hideous to any other creature. In the case of the Dark Lord, frequent blood rituals maintained their youthful vigor.

Emerging from their suite, Carnifex and Demiurge made the brief journey to Saryn's entertainment hall. Inside were dozens of highly influential men and women, partners in the widespread web that was the Kainate's influence. Corporate CEOs, narcotic kingpins, military officers, government bureaucrats, and everything between and beyond. Moving between the throngs were alluring women, clad in clothing that accentuated their physical features so that very little was left to the imagination. It was exceptionally opulent, exactly in line with the star-yacht owner's style.

The two approached the youngest Naberrie as he sipped on decadent wine, attended hand-and-foot by his legion of servants. One could hardly believe that such a diminutive native of Naboo could rise so high as to own the largest pleasure yacht in all the galaxy, a ship that rivaled even the most powerful destroyers in sheer scale. Carnifex had given him this life, lifted him up from mediocrity and found an outlet for Saryn's genius mind to flourish.

"I see you are enjoying yourself, little vulptex."

Having worked for nearly every so called Sith Order in the Galaxy Jacste or Jax as many called him had apparently accumulated enough reputation and notoriety as a mercenary/assassin to be welcome and invited to their parties. He was surprised to receive an invitation to join them on this massive star yacht, but accepted the honor and hopped aboard the shuttle that was sent to ferry him here.

Sitting on the bed in the suite he was given, what possessions he brought now finally organized he looked around the room at the various art pieces, busts and statues. Taken aback by the opulence. He had a fair amount of class, but he wasn't so fancy as many of whom he now shared company, with their ridiculously expensive clothes and Corellian wine.

Just then there was a loud knock on the door. When he opened it two servants were there to greet him. One had a very expensive looking tuxedo in their hands and the other some shiny dress shoes.

"Hello sir. Tonight's festivities are a black tie affair. Here is your tux and your dress shoes. Please accept them and join the party in the entertainment hall as soon as you wish." The servant holding the tux said handing it to him then the other put the shoes upside down on top of the tux now in Jacste's arms.

The Dark Jedi simply accepted them without thinking and was so put off all he could do was look confused and respond with a bewildered, "Okay? I'll be right out in a few minutes. Thank you."

"Our pleasure, sir." The duo responded in unison. "Enjoy your night."

"I will" he replied, just wanting them to go away already.

The assassin shut the door as the servants backed away and left. He sighed.

"Okay. I guess this is happening." He said in reluctance to himself.

Minutes later he stepped out and joined the rest of the party in the VIP lounge. First thing he did was rush to the nearest waiter and snatch a strong drink from their platter. Then he took a smoke stick from his pocket, put it in his mouth and pointing his index finger at the end of it he manifested a flame at the tip with his mind. Smoke came from both the ember and his mouth as it lit. He then went on to try and "mingle" as best he could with the other party goers as he smoked his cigarette and drank his drink.

He was reluctant to be here under such formal circumstances, but no way was he going to miss his chance to befriend such rich and powerful beings as inhabited this room. He even saw the man he recognized as Darth Carnifex, the former Emperor of the late Sith Empire in attendance and a man standing next to him who looked exactly like him for some reason mingling with the owner of the star-yacht and host of the party. If he could manage to get a contract from just one of these people there was a good chance he'd never need to work again and so he put on his friendliest face and adopted his most professional attitude as he socialized with the Kainite elite.

Often times, Alessandra’s duties as a Chaplain of House Io involved the diplomatic, rubbing shoulders with the galaxy’s elite and forging connections that might yield fruit later on. In this case, the HRD had been tasked with maintaining connections which House Io had developed during the Third Imperial Civil War, though given the fall of the Sith Empire, had eventually fallen by the wayside. While it went without saying that the galactic affairs moved in perpetual motion, with old alliances being discarded for new ones as superpowers came and went, there was still value in the maintenance of long-term relationships, even if they might only yield small favors between individuals.

Sometimes, such favors could decide the fate of entire systems.

After making the final touches on her attire for the evening, which included a glitter sequin party dress, white heels, generously-hooped earrings, and additional pieces of bejeweled body candy in the form of necklaces, Alessandra stepped out of her quarters and began the short journey towards the entertainment hall. Fortunately, while the journey was quick due to a selection of turbolifts and other transport vessels, it went without saying that the Jewel of Panatha was a massive vessel, a veritable flying palace that was just as much a display of ostentatious wealth as it was a showcase of power. Nevertheless, Alessandra had decided to enjoy the vessel for what it offered, since the past few weeks hadn’t been easy.

Entering the lounge, Alessandra first recognized the patron of the evening ( Darth Xyrah Darth Xyrah ), clad in a crimson dress and high heels. Then, her photoreceptors processed the gargantuan forms of the twin Dark Lords ( Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex ), their presences heavy with distinction and restrained power over life and death. This being her very first time seeing the Black Iron Sith’ari in person, Alessandra felt a chill run down her spine, an uncharacteristic tinge of anxiety briefly shifting her normally-serene disposition.

Quickly ordering a lemonade from a passing Togruta waitress, Alessandra accepted the beverage with a gracious smile, before moving to mingle with the crowd…

Saryn happily arose from his seat upon spotting the arrival of his masters, gently giving the pair of them affectionate hugs. "Masters! It's so good to see you both. I'm loving the outfits!, he said with a big smile. He beckoned over one of the scantily clad waitresses, whom offered the pair a selection of drinks and snacks to choose from. Saryn helped himself to some fruits, quickly nomming on one. "I hope the quarters I had prepared are to your liking. I know you arn't ones for extravagant ostentation. Those Kageja iv Akmuo took a bit of work to get transported there.", he said with a soft chuckle.

Saryn briefly took note of the couple of new arrivals that had entered, particularly Alessandra. He ADORED her choice of dress, and would definitely have to approach to pay a compliment and inquire about her tailor later. His attention quickly turned back to his masters, however. He gently reached out to hold Carnifex's hand. "So, what do you make of the Jewel? Certainly my most impressive design so far. I...wouldn't have gotten this far without the love and support you've both given me. I still can't thank you enough for that."

Star wasnt exactly planning to go to this party on the yacht, however saryn had convinced her to go shopping to pick out some outfits for the party and well star had a major issue telling that cute face no. So now after choosing the dress she sat in her suite and looked herself over finding the dress rather lovely addition to her wardrobe. Brushing her dress down once more she let a breath out and opened the door making her wya to where the main part of the party existed.

Standing over a good portion of the guest star disregarded most if then as she spotted Darth Xyrah Darth Xyrah and made her way over to him swiftly through the crowd.

you know saryn, that dress looked good when you tried it on but now we are at the party I must say your the attention of the room

She said with a grin upon her face before turning to carnifex and demi bowing her head in respect

and of course the two of you demand the attention of the room just as much, the outfits look great on you

Some among the sith were relentless in their pursuit of opulence.

Once, Iasha’rha would have been expected to attend such events as a guest and work her charms in the favour of the Sith-Imperial diplomacy machine. Things had changed since then; Iasha had changed. Since the fall of the Empire, darker forces than the Imperial Dawn had taken her in, and she had dedicated herself to them.

Now, she had arrived at this prodigal cruise, under cover, to serve her new overlords.

The bunny-suit that adorned her body would have embarrassed her before. Now, she perceived it only as a necessary disguise. Guests were constantly under scrutiny, but the staff were easily overlooked. At a glance, she was but another lethan server. The sith tattoos that marked her as a warrior were covered under a layer of make-up. Her eyes turned down in a facsimile of obedience as she carried around her tray of tall glasses with shimmering alcohol.

Iasha made her rounds, ears catching snippets of conversation. Information, rumours, relationships and secrets were confirmed and complicated all at once.

Still, one of her objectives had arrived.

Changing her tray to a selection of treats, she circled around toward [member=“Jacste Selden”] Jacste Selden . As she passed by and offered the treats to Jacste and those near, the twi’lek slipped a disk into his pocket. As soon as the guests had their fill of the treats, she slipped away into the servant’s passages and awaited the next step.

After some time, the disk would begin to vibrate

Take a cruise. See some pretty planets or such, watch the Zambrano. The last part was the reason Alina had come here. Two Carnifex's. Well, a Carnifex and a Demiurge, as she learned later on. Whatever that was about, she was curious. More so about the drastic difference in personality. Twins playing at some single being skit to earn more prestige against their rivals? No, Carnifex was an Emperor alone.

There was no need for a twin bit.

But damn, did she not expect this. She even wore a more Sith like tunic. Black, classic and edgy. Look the part of Sith, as this was the cruise ship of, well. Sith. Yet there were Twi'leks in bunny outfits. What was even the point of bunny out- No. Alina eyed a couple as they passed by, her faintly glowing gaze narrowing for just a moment. No, she could see why.

Drink in hand she wandered. Didn't matter what the drink was, booze had no effect on her any more. Something fruity, she figured? Sweet but not too sweet. That worked fine for her. No goal, no destination. Watching the Twice Emperor who was now two people wasn't something she could just do. Not without attracting attention. And the views weren't too bad, so why not enjoy herself?

She kept moving down through the halls, a soft smile on her face. She'd always hated going to formal parties as a girl. Forced to dress up in the most obnoxious and over the top dresses like an item on display, it was easy to tell why. So yeah, why not enjoy this? A high end party without the pressure of nobility! Nothing could bring this down in the slightest.

At least until she came face to face with a familiar smelling red Twi'lek. It was hard to forget the scent of her blood. The crystal caves, the broken body of the Twi'lek dragged out in near death. Alina stared blankly for a moment at the bunny suit wearing girl.

".. New uh, path in life or something..?"

Jacste finished his first drink, his cigarette was also gone. He grabbed another drink from a passing servant and thought he'd go and try to introduce himself to the Carnifex twins, but on his way over one of the bunny outfit wearing servants stopped him and asked if he wanted a pastry to eat. She was a distractingly beautiful Lethan Twi'lek. His type exactly, though the color wasn't a factor in that. So of course he took the treat, looking her in the eyes during the whole interaction, captivated.

"I'd love one. Thank you." He said mildly flirtatious.

Watching her walk away he completely forgot what he was doing and just stood in that spot. He stopped staring after she walked a certain distance away and at the treat she gave him. It was really good actually, he thought, but a little dry. So he followed it with alcohol.

Finally remembering what he was doing he adjusted his the open suit of his all black tux, which had a red dress shirt underneath, with a black tie, black pants and dress shoes and started to walk over to Carnifex and Demiurge again. About halfway there he was stopped again, but this time by something else. Something unknown. He wasn't sure what, but something was vibrating in one of his pockets.

"What the kriff? What is that?" Jacste said, confused before he even took it out to look.

Confused, he reached in his pants pocket and pulled it out. He wasn't even sure what it was. It wasn't there when the suit was given to him, was it? No, he would've felt that as he walked. So how and when did it get there and who put it there? That Twi'lek girl? She was the only one who was ever close enough or distracting enough to place it there without notice. But why?

He analyzed the object in his hand. It was a strange. A gold disc of some kind. He rotated it in his hand to get a look at it. The side he saw first had a strange snake engraved on it and the other had the symbol of the Dark Side, of the Sith. The Black Star. The device was still vibrating as he realized what was happening. He was being summoned by some unknown Sith Lord. The snake must have been their personal crest. He knew he needed to answer it, but this might not be something for anyone else to witness. Overcome with curiosity he finished his second drink and took the gold disc with him as he made his way to the most secluded part of the massive starship that he could find in a hurry.

Standing alone in the darkness, Jacste held the device to his face so he could answer the call. Now that it was so close he could feel that the strange object was pulsating with force energy. The Dark Jedi took a second to figure out how to activate the thing then waited for whatever was going to happen to happen.

She could feel his eyes on her, and the tone of his voice made her skin crawl. Still, she kept her mask up like the other servers. Still, it kept him from discovering what she had planted in his pocket. The disk was safely dispensed into the subject’s pocked and she thought she would be able to slip away before anyone could notice.

That is, until someone spoke to her directly.

«.. New uh, path in life or something?..»

Her mask dropped, then contorted into a deep frown as she looked up at Alina.

«You

She lowered the empty tray and allowed it to cover her other hand. The shikkar slipped into her hand from where she had kept it pinned. Iasha’s frown settled into an impassive tone again as she took a step back and out of sight of the party, with a quick nod she hinted at Alina to do the same.

«You are blowing my cover here.»

-She hissed quietly through her pointed teeth.

Meanwhile, the coin became steadily colder in Jacste’s grip. The deeper he went into the ship, the longer the shadows grew around him. When he put his mind to it, the darkness became complete. It was as though a shroud had been cast across the room in an instant as all light and sound vanished.

Then, a hiss. Another followed, and another. They came from different directions; high and low, left and right, all at once. Then, they went quiet. A single white serpent appeared, as if birthed from the shadows themselves. It coiled back on itself and studied him with ruby eyes as a black tongue lashed the air.

You seek, and you shall be found. A test for you, if you dare step into the shadows. In umbris potestas est.

She raised a brow, but, well. Alina knew enough to realize Iasha was being serious. So, after a moment of the same blank, surprised question, a coy smile returned instead. Alina downed what was left of her drink before she held it out to the Twi'lek. "Fine, then go get me a refill like a good bunny girl, mm?" She kept the grin, though noticeably kept the glass out at arms length. Keeping Iasha from getting closer. She stepped towards the shadows, but only slight. Just enough so she could step back out into sight if what she recognized in Iasha's heartbeat was anger.

"Been a while, hasn't it? I see you've grown." Alina, on the other hand, hadn't. Asides from a slight change to her facial features, she hadn't aged a day. She couldn't age, not anymore. ".. I'm glad you survived everything."

Iasha Rha Iasha Rha

Carnifex and Demiurge both waved the drinks and food away, for neither of them planned to partake. Others had joined the gathering, several of them worth noting. The Dark Lord's head swiveled slightly as His eye fixated on one of the servers, one Twi'lek among dozens catering to the assembled guests. While outwardly there was nothing to distinguish her from the others, the Dark Lord finely honed senses had detected something different about her. But He did not maintain His look upon her for very long, looking back to Saryn after she disappeared into a servant's corridor.

The smaller man slipped his hand inside of Carnifex's, the size difference between them truly staggering now that they stood side-by-side. "The Jewel is magnificent, a vessel far greater than anything you would have been capable of back on Naboo." It is not the only thing that Saryn has been able to accomplish since being taken in by the Dark Lord, as the young man had proven himself a more than capable inventor. His mind, previously stymied by the monotony of Naboo, was now free to explore and dream of every conceivable invention under the sun. Though many did not live up to Saryn's expectations, those that did have been eagerly incorporated into the Kainate.

It was then that the Lady Stardust approached, her beautiful jade skin left mostly uncovered by the black dress that she wore. Although often at odds with the Zambranos, the Emerald Dragon had gradually been taken in by the Zambranos and educated with their accumulated knowledge. The Dark Lord could still sense some lingering resentment lurking beneath the edifice of her mind, but it was not strong enough to allow darker, impure thoughts to nestle. "The same could be said of yourself, Lady Stardust. You have quite a few admirers already." Demiurge smiled, that predator's grin where you weren't entirely sure whether it was genuine or if he was sizing you up as prey.

Carnifex followed Saryn's eyes, which had fallen upon an individual that the Dark Lord was not yet familiar with. Sensing an opportunity, the Dark Lord made eye contact with the woman and beckoned her forward.

Alessandra took a light sip of the cold beverage, before letting it float in her hand as she maneuvered her way through the crowd of well-dressed bodies. Initially, her attention had shifted away from the Dark Lord and the retinue of beings around him, but a powerful compulsion pulled her photoreceptors back to him, almost as if by some preternatural…

No, it couldn’t be that. Her genetics were spliced from those of the ysalamir. Surely, even the Dark Lord of the Sith might find it difficult, if not impossible to compel her through the Force, right?

Regardless, the Bio-Organic HRD approached the Dark Lord with an eerie, synthetic grace in her steps, before presenting herself with a respectful bow, ever aware that in part, she was his guest. Then, rising up, she began to address him.

“Chaplain Alessandra Io of House Io, Your Darkness. She began, rising from her bow. “Thank you both, for inviting me to the Jewel.” The Bio-Organic HRD continued, before shifting her attention to acknowledge Darth Xyrah Darth Xyrah , as well. “As House Io’s representative this evening, I seek to reaffirm our ties with the remnants of the Sith Empire, including the Kainate. Speaking on behalf of my Matriarch, Darth Xiphos, it is our wish to continue our productive relationship, even after the fall.” She finished.

So far, the alliance between House Io and the Sith Empire had been informal, with House Io contributing forces during the Third Imperial Civil War to the defense of various worlds. Perhaps soon, it could be made a formal alliance?

Progressive seclusion.
It was the best way to refer to Maliphant in these times. His attention had turned from the material to the teachings of the Sith in ways far more grand than most Lords could believe. His research had begun to take him into a world of new interpretations of the Force - new truths, and with them greater powers many had never bore witness to besides very rare cases. Rumors swirled of what it consisted of - from bypassing the force negation of the dreaded Ysalamiri, to creating his own 'Force', to even influencing the prophetic visions of Jedi without their knowing.
Today however, the infamous and feared Sith Lord had come to a party - surrounded by PRAETORIAN Guards. They towered over Maliphant, but the sense of danger centered around him like a black hole. The guards were practically an accessory to the black suit clad emissary of death that he was. With eyes of dark steel, even the waitresses seemed to avoid the Arkanian as he moved through the crowds to the dual council members Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex - along with the cadre that had formed around him.
"Fellow Sith.", he said with a slight smile.
"'Jewel of Panatha' - Don't think that's a bit on the nose for a massive ship carrying Sith, do you?"

Saryn noticed his master beckoning over the woman who's dress had caught his interest. He smiled warmly at her. "A pleasure, Alessandra. I must say, I simply ADORE your dress for the party tonight, it makes you look positively radiant. You must tell me who your tailor is! And we're always happy to welcome our allies even in our....present state of disrepair. I suspect that will change soon enough, however. I've been taking steps to swiftly rebuild our military might through technological ascendancy. The new SB-1 Battle Droids are already churning out of the factories..."

Saryn then noticed the arrival of Darth Maliphant. He regally curtsied in his dress, bowing his head, seemingly unphased by the aura that caused dread to his servants. He'd spent so much time with Carnifex and Demiurge, after all. "My lord. It is an honor to have you present for the festivities. And well, I wanted to honor the homeworld of my master. It is a home away from home to me after all, second only to my homeworld Naboo."

He quickly snapped his fingers, calling over one of the servants who'd tried to avoid Darth Maliphant so they could offer him some refreshments, before casually wrapping an arm around Stardust's waistline to affectionately cuddle her close while he spoke. "Might I offer you some refreshments, my lord? The Meiloorun Tarts are exquisite!"

As Jacste approached a secluded part of the ship the thing he'd found in his pocket, whatever it truly was, got colder and colder until it felt like ice in his hand. In fact everything was cold, like someone turned the thermostat to below freezing. It was so cold he thought he was going to get frostbite even though he was inside. He looked down at this, this coin and suddenly things started to get darker as if he was blacking out. Something wasn't right. Everything felt wrong.

He couldn't tell if this was real or if he drank more than he thought and was blacked out on the bathroom floor having the weirdest dream ever. But it was real. He looked up from the coin and suddenly the whole word was dark as if everything was swallowed up by an all encompassing darkness. There was nothing, not even sound left around him.

Then he heard what sounded like a snake hissing. It was everywhere all at once. The Dark Jedi looked everywhere, every direction around him trying to find it. Nothing. Then suddenly, out of thin air a white snake with blood colored eyes manifested before him. What was it? A Spirit? Some demon from The Realm of Chaos? Jacste felt fear for the first time in a long time.

It was looking at him and licking the air with it's inky tongue. He thought for sure it wanted to eat him. At this point he felt like he'd made a mistake in coming here. The Sith had surely brought a curse upon this ship and it was very haunted. Then suddenly the serpent spoke, which freaked him out more than anything previous, but at the same time the way it spoke was at the same time almost calming.

"You seek, and you shall be found." It said to him.

"What are you and what do you know of me? What do you want?!" The man said trying to hide his crippling fear.

"A test for you, if you dare step into the shadows. In umbris potestas est." It continued, though he couldn't tell if it was in response to him or if it simply ignored him and kept talking.

He analyzed what it said in his brain. I seek and I am found? A test? Step into the shadows? He didn't even understand the last part, but it sounded like the creature was talking about his journey in the Force. It seemed like it had a way to what he desired most, to what he constantly sought: power. The power to live truly free, without limits, without fear, but it would come with a cost. Likely submission, though temporary. He would allow it to be nothing else.

He'd have to swallow his fear and his pride to gain what he'd always wanted. His still wondered how did it know him and what he wanted? Who or what was this thing? Realizing what he must do Jacste stepped forward into darkness toward the snake.

"I accept what you offer. What is the price?" He said this time without any fear at all, unafraid to meet his destiny.

Something changed in Iasha’s demeanour. Her lekku shifted from their retracted position to a gentle arch, but her facial expression remained unchanged. The twi’lek had hardened herself, but the acolyte Alina knew was still there. Still, somehing had indeed changed in her, grown. It was not just physical, nor just in strength of the Force.

There was something more.

You know me, I’m a survivor.

She moved her hand from the shikkar to the bottle on the plate. With practiced motions, she tucked her hand into the red fabric wrapped around its based and poured the shimmering liquid into Alina’s glass. It sparkled bubbled, changing colours from a deep purple to a light pink as it was poured then settled back into its deep, shimmering colouration.

And you? What have you been up to?

-Iasha knew some. There had been a kill order out on Alina for cooperating with the Silver Jedi Concord. The order was never retracted, but a supplementary order of further investigation superceded it. While this was not the purpose of her infiltration, she could not help but seizing the opportunity.

The serpent tilted its head and neared Jacste with a slow lean. Its lidless eyes stared unwavering, as if looking through his skin and bones to see the soul within. The black tongue lashed again, like a wicked slaver’s whip, snatching the scents in the air.

Eager is he. No price is asked but the price of blood, and toil, and servitude.

Quickly the serpent shifted to the side. Its long body followed the motion of the head. It inspected him from the side, weighing his worth on mental scales.

The eager one will pay in the blood of treasonous scum. Silence them before they speak.

The serpent rose high and leaned close, whispering in a malicious hiss.

The darkness vanished in a blink. The hallway unchanged. The coin glinted in his hand, but gave no sensation but the common chill of metal against skin.

Alina accepted the refill, as requested, but didn't take a sip. She was hoping for some kind of reaction from Iasha. Perhaps too greedily? Shouldn't be too much of a surprise though. What she thought might be anger seemed to be. Her gaze dipped, watching the swirling colors of the drink. What had she been doing? Alina had a feeling Iasha might've already known. Most did.

"I ran away before the fall of the Empire to hide with the girl I loved. But time went on for her. And I, unable to leave, never changed. So I left with no intention of going back. Went about old Sith Space to find the acolytes abandoned when the Empire fell apart. Show them a different path where they didn't need to die for the Sith. .. They died anyway." She swirled the colors as a thin line of a frown formed. Then exhaled with the exaggeration of someone who'd forgotten what it was like to breath.

"Then the Silver Jedi caught me. Sent me off to the Alliance to stand trial. The most curious thing though, a Sithspawn Jedi of all people broke me out. I hear she's Sith again, but I didn't think the Jedi would even allow that. Funny, isn't it?" Latching onto the topic, she flashed a smile. Pushed away the feeling of futility that had crept in. "Then I was hunted. The Will of the Force, as my attackers said. As if the Force itself wanted me dead. So I went home. To Dromuund Kaas. To Dantooine where you were buried. Maliphant found me, and now I'm here being my best Sith self." She put up the quotations with one hand, rolling her eyes. She was no doubt Sith, Alina just never was much of a cultish person.

"What about you? After I lost my arms, we never spoke. What's been keeping you away?"

As the serpent leaned in close Jacste's skin began to crawl. The creature was a horrific abomination of pure terror, but he kept his composure. It gave him his orders, whispering them in his ear and sending shivers down his spine. Then, in an instant, it was gone.

He stared at the coin in his hand and when he looked up the darkness was gone and he was back in The Jewel of Panatha once more. His eyes were rolled back into his head, showing only the white of his sclera. Where was he a moment ago? Was that a vision of some kind or was he transported to a dimension of darkness?

As he slipped back into reality, the Dark Jedi felt faint, collapsing to his knees, dropping the coin in the process. It lay there with the snake facing up. He shivered, shaking off the horror and pulled the coin back into his hand with the force. He stood back up and looked at the coin again. Now the other side was facing up. He looked at the Sith insignia on it, knowing they were his masters now. For a moment he stood there pondering what just happened and put the coin back in his pocket. He'd join the Sith for the power to break his chains and live a life without limits. Free forever.

The assassin lit up another cigarette. He really felt like he needed one after that strange and haunting experience. The snake was gone. Now to carry out it's orders. It spoke of blood, toil and servitude. All prices he was willing to pay, but his "servitude" would not be a permanent circumstance.

Walking back toward the VIP Lounge, he stopped when he passed a door. He saw that it had a letter followed by four numbers. D one thousand something. So the pale serpent was speaking of a room number. It wasn't far from where he was. He walked to the nearest elevator and pressed the button for floor B. In the elevator he removed the disassembled pieces of the blaster repeater from his suit and reassembled them. He put the strap over his shoulder so the blaster hung by his right side. As the door opened he finished loading the mag and cocked it, then stepped out of the elevator into floor B.

Checking the doors, Jacste figured out which direction the one thousands were and made his way to B-1332. As he walked the cameras in the hallway went out before him, leaving behind no trace of his presence.

That predatory look from demiurge, her own molded into a similar fashion, no she would never again show weakness and to demi she held him in a higher respect then carnifex finding him a bit more a equal...that and e could hold a conversation

THEY can admire all they wish, this dragon loves the attention, especially of those who...

She looked to saryn and gave a grin feeling him pulling her closer as she placed a hand around him resting on his lower back

are more then deserving of receiving my attention directly

Her eyes moved to maliphant, she didnt know many of the sith lords just a few that stood out and that she knew directly, though his words earned a chuckle from her as star held a hand out and moved it across the room

I see not sith here, I see a bunch of party goers enjoying the partying, I see a bunch of people who will one day see the jewel of panatha returned to the planet its name hails from

Truth be told panatha put a fire in her blood, should the soth descend on it once more she would be there to take back what they rightfully deserved

oh dear forgive me, I am lady stardust, emerald dragon.

She said and gave a respectful bow
