STRENGTHS
  • Zoom Trajectory: With its energized jump skates, the Sparkle Velocity is optimized for extreme velocity combat maneuvers and engagements. They effectively allow Hanna to engage in combat at blistering speeds, giving her the ability to dodge incoming attacks, flank, retreat, and carry out yet more actions at will.
  • Mind Shield: A Force shield integrated into the helmet provides excellent resistance against mental attacks, protecting the integrity of Hanna’s mind against mentalism and other forms of Force intrusion.
  • Silencerz: The Sparkle Velocity has stealth features incorporated across all aspects of its design, with a particular emphasis on nullifying the sensor signature of the jump skates. This allows Hanna to engage them with virtually no risk of being picked up on sensors. The suit also features an integrated Taozin skin nodule, a cloaking device, a stealth camouflage coating, thermoguard, and yet more stealth systems which render the suit, its user, and most attached equipment virtually invisible.
  • Hyper Skater: Achieved via energized and reactive polymer materials incorporated into the suit, the Sparkle Velocity gives Hanna a fourfold strength enhancement. In addition, the Ghost Link allows her to control virtually all of the suit's functions and attached subsystems via mental command. The Ghost Link provides further mental enhancement via the suit itself, which heightens and accelerates the user’s thought processes by supplementing them with processing power from the onboard computers. Thus, the suit enhances the user both physically and mentally.
  • Fire Racer: In spite of its light construction, the Sparkle Velocity offers nigh-unparalleled resistance to energy weapons and directed heat attacks. Estrian armorweave, Ostrine mineral treatment, mono-molecularly bonded gammaplast, the miniaturized intrinsic shield array, and other systems all work together to lend Hanna excellent protection against these common battlefield threats.
WEAKNESSES
  • Acerbic Affliction: Unfortunately, acid weapons are very effective at eating through the suit’s protective material to harm the wearer directly, potentially inflicting a host of dangerous effects.
  • Tensor: While optimized to mitigate damage from most forms of energy-based assaults, tensor weapons are indeed the exception. In firing compressed tractor beam waves, they can bypass most of the suit’s defenses and affect the wearer’s body at a cellular level, with the potential to cause severe injury.
  • Mobility Kill: In the event that the jump skates are by some means disabled, the suit in turn will be effectively mobility-killed as the jump skates are extremely difficult to walk (much less run) in due to their shape. While the jump skates can be replaced with combat boots, this is a lengthy, technical process that can not be done on-the-fly.
  • Deep Freeze: While the suit is rated to protect the wearer from all environments (including arctic planets the likes of Hoth and Ilum), it unfortunately does not grade well in terms of defense against cold-based weaponry. That is to say that the biting, freezing power of cryogenic weapon systems is far more penetrating than that presented by cold environments. Thus, Hanna must rely on other means of protection should she come to face these weapons.
  • Surface Damage: While the suit’s equipped Dream Sight possesses an extremely advanced surface-integrated passive reception array, any direct damage to the surface of the armor may diminish the effectiveness of the system due to the destruction of a number of passive micro-sensors. This can result in blind spots in the passive reception array.
  • Shield Projector Fragility: The Sparkle Velocity is a high-tech platform that depends in large part on its electronics for its defensive prowess and lethality. Thus, should its electronics be overloaded, disabled, or impaired, the suit’s ability to protect its wearer will suffer in turn. In such a case, the miniaturized intrinsic shield array might suffer malfunction. Since this system is a linchpin to the suit’s resistance against disruptors (the material construction by itself is unable to adequately defend against this weapon type as solid materials can not be proofed against disruptors), these weapon will likely pose an especially mortal threat to the wearer in the event of system failure.
DESCRIPTION
Designed for Hanna’s exclusive use, the Sparkle Velocity is an ultralight combat suit optimized for speed, stealth, lethality, and utility. Incorporating the majority of its systems from First United Astral Engineering, the suit is essentially built around the energized jump skates—a dedicated, ultra high propulsion system that allows for extreme speeds via repulsorlift skating. A number of other systems support this, including a dedicated stealth unit that covers the jump skates’ signature, making them just as stealthy as the rest of the suit.

All in all, the Sparkle Velocity is designed to facilitate stealthy extreme speed combat, rendering Hanna as nothing more than a deadly, hyperfast sparkle in the eyes of her enemies, should they manage to catch sight of her.

  • Storm Shield: More often than not, the Moonflower Shadow is able to mitigate Ion and EMP-based assaults to the point of being rendered almost wholly ineffective—a critical feature of its design due to its advanced electronics.
  • Wallflower: Primarily constructed from Shikkari Death-Weave, the Moonflower Shadow manifests all the properties of the material, allowing Khal’vyssa to effectively vanish into the shadows and elude Force senses. The bodysuit also includes various stealth systems to ensure that she is effectively invisible to sensors and scanners.
  • Energy Aegis: With its Shikkari Death-Weave and miniaturized conformal shield projectors, the Moonflower Shadow offers Khal’vyssa an incredible degree of defense against energy weapons, up to and including disruptors, particle beams, and other powerful energy weapon classes. Notably, this protection extends to lightsabers as well.
  • Force Shield: The Terentatek threads infused into the Death-Weave give enhanced resistance against direct Force powers. In addition, the Moonflower Shadow’s Force shield is rated for high-grade protection against mental attacks, ensuring that Khal’vyssa’s mind remains intact in the event that she encounters mentalist opponents.

DESCRIPTION
Created for Khal’vyssa upon the completion of her Shikkari Blade training, the Moonlight Shadow is an assassin’s panoply of death. Designed to complement Khal’vyssa’s Shikkari training, the suit facilitates her ability to conceal herself, allowing her to better engage targets on her terms.

In this, the Shikkari Death-Weave used in the primary construction of the bodysuit can bend light and sound, rendering Khal’vyssa incredibly difficult to perceive. The Death-Weave also includes Taozin fibers, which make it difficult to track her through the Force. To protect against technological sensors, the bodysuit is treated with a stealth polymer, includes a personal concealment system, and features a range of other systems which ultimately combine to lend her virtually impeccable stealth.

Somewhat compensating for her inability to touch the Force, the Moonlight Shadow is highly resistant to direct effects of the Force. Notably, a Force Shield integrated into the mask serves to protect Khal’vyssa’s mind from mental intrusion. More general resistance to the Force is provided by the Shikkari Death-Weave, which is infused with Terentatek threads.

All in all, the Moonflower Shadow is hoped to lend Khal’vyssa the ability to efficiently engage her targets from the safety of the shadows, without exposing her to the grotesquely incandescent perils of the light.

  • All Weather: The KJP-4 is capable of operating in the void, within an atmosphere (in virtually all weather conditions), and underwater. Moreover, the jetpack is capable of independent escape from a planet-sized primary body.
  • Twin Turbo: Of particular note, the KJP-4 is a fast and agile jetpack. Although it does not have the extreme aerial performance of the Adramelech, the KJP-4 is smaller and does not present an impediment to movement on the ground. Still, the KJP-4 is faster than most jetpacks on the market, allowing skilled users to counter hostile jet troopers and determine the pace of a given engagement, while leveraging the inherent agility of their physical form to perform dazzling maneuvers. Along the same vein, the KJP-4’s maneuverability is superior to that of most jetpacks, allowing the user to execute sudden bursts of movement in any direction to evade attacks through the agility array and the Huabing Engines.
  • Featherlight: The KJP-4 is a small and relatively lightweight unit. Thus, it generally presents no significant impediment to ground mobility.

  • Overload: The KJP-4’s Sleg Ultracapacitors can be dangerous when overloaded with energy, with the potential to explode or catch on fire in such an event.
  • Point of Failure: When used by a typical unaugmented organic operator, the acceleration compensators are easily the most critical component of the KJP-4. In the event that they begin to operate at reduced efficiency, typically due to damage, the propulsion system’s performance will likely need to be turned down.
  • Burn Wound: The KJP-4's SLAM module can only be sustained for a limited amount of time due to its intense power demands and potential to overheat the engines. At maximum, the system can be active for twenty consecutive seconds before it is automatically shut off, at which point the thrusters must undergo a mandatory heat discharge protocol. In addition, the SLAM puts out a lot of waste heat, making it easier to spot (and target) the KJP-4 via sensors.
  • Mechanical Corruption: An unspoken weakness of virtually all modern technology, the KJP-4 is vulnerable to the esoteric sorceries of mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. As such, a skilled practitioner of such arts can quickly disable the machine, provided that they have a direct line of sight to the propulsion system and its operator.

Designed as a smaller, more lightweight, and more versatile alternative to the ultra high-performance Adramelech jetpack, the KJP-4 (Kainate Jetpack Model Four) is Sith counterpart of the light version of Mandalorian jetpacks often used by Nite Owls and ancient Imperial Supper Commandos. The KJP-4 sacrifices performance, armament, and defensive capability due to its smaller form factor. However, it loses nothing in terms of versatility. It is ideal for space and atmospheric use, with a top speed of 90 MGLT in the former context (boosted to 200 MGLT with SLAM) and a top speed of Mach 2 (Mach 4 with SLAM) in the latter. It is also capable of being used underwater, though it is not wholly optimized for this function.

With its variable power settings allowing for adjustable performance characteristics (lower performance for novice users, high performance for advanced users), the KJP-4 is relatively easy and intuitive to train soldiers on. In addition, unlike the Adramelech, the KJP-4 generally presents no significant impediment to the user on the ground, facilitating its user for hybrid ground-air operations. Given its versatility, the jetpack sees use by both dedicated jet troopers who fight almost exclusively from the skies or within space (rarely, if ever touching the ground as a result) and from standard infantry who utilize the jetpack as a supplement.

All in all, the KJP-4 is a more versatile and wieldy alternative to the Adramelech, facilitating more widespread use in the field.
