    • Miniaturized Ionizer
  • Utility and Safety Features
STRENGTHS
  • Kill on Sight - As the FAE/I-06 is directly integrated into a cybernetic eye, it is far easier to bring to bear than any traditional weapon. In this regard, aiming and tracking a target with the FAE/I-06 is as easy as looking at them. As such, the weapon is very ideal against fast-moving, agile enemies.
  • Freeze Beam - Like the FAE/I-05 before it, the FAE/I-06 is very much a lethal weapon. However, unlike the FAE/I-05, the FAE/I-06 fires a beam of ionized, electromagnetically-contained CryoBan. Upon impact (typically with a shield, lightsaber blade, solid object, Etc.), this beam collapses and releases its payload. In this, the ionized CryoBan can absorb heat with terrifying efficiency, potentially inflicting a deep, penetrating cold that can snap freeze molecules down to ultracold temperatures. This can render both organic and inorganic materials brittle, making them vulnerable to shattering.
  • High Fidelity - Possessing a number of vision modules which allow the user to perceive her surroundings in a wide range of environmental conditions and according to the demands of the situation, the optical implant can be adapted to see in a variety of visual frequencies and spectrums, making them extremely perceptive, with a degree of anti-stealth capabilities.
  • Flash Burn - The cybernetic eye possesses a polarizing membrane to protect against bright flashes and to allow it to retain vision capabilities when the beam is being discharged.
WEAKNESSES
  • Exposed Components - Inserting a new CryoBan cell into the FAE/I-06 requires the user to essentially open up their neck. While this does not outright require cybersurgery and can be done fairly quickly since the cybernetic comes with an access panel that is installed in the neck (and generally covered with synthskin), reloading can expose vital components and even the user’s blood vessels.
  • Mechu-deru - Unlike Cryokinesis, the FAE/I-06 is susceptible to Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. A talented practitioner of such esoteric sorceries could induce a failure that might compromise the implant entirely or demand precious time to fix, leaving the user vulnerable.
DESCRIPTION
The FAE/I-06 Optical CryoBan Beam Projector Implant is a weaponized cybernetic eye developed and manufactured by First United Astral Engineering. Like its sister design, the FAE/I-05 CryoBan Projector Implant, the FAE/I-06 is a cryogenic weapon that deals damage by snap freezing targets. However, the FAE/I-06 has fundamental differences in its operation, the most notable being that it projects CryoBan from a cybernetic eye, rather than from the palm of the user’s hand. In this, the CryoBan is sheathed within an electromagnetic containment field that is designed to collapse on impact, thereby releasing its payload of ionized CryoBan. The consequences for stricken organics can range the gamut from frozen blood vessels, ischemia, severe nerve damage, and yet more. In addition, rather than firing a jet, the FAE/I-06 fires a sustained, continuous beam that lasts for 0.5 seconds per single discharge.

However, the FAE/I-06 is not only a weapon, but is also a capable sensor platform that enhances the user’s vision and the depth of their optical perception, allowing her to see into the electromagnetic spectrum.

All in all, the FAE/I-06 represents First United Astral Engineering’s continued desire to hone and perfect weaponized cybernetics, while also creating cybernetics for different applications.

    • Weaponized Heat / Fire: High
    • Weaponized Radiation: Low
    • Tensor: None
    • Sonic: High
    • Acids/Corrosives: Very Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Eyes in the Back - The electronics and sensor systems within the neck piece communicate directly with Alessandra's digital-biological neural cognition systems, giving her a direct link to their data and affording her a nigh-omniscient view of her surroundings. To say the least, this makes her awareness and reaction time nigh-unparalled, to the point where it can easily be confused for precognition. In short, this allows her to interface with the sensors inside the neck piece as if they were her own eyes or ears.
  • Skin Shield - Protecting the wearer primarily through a network of miniaturized energy shield projectors embedded within the suit itself, the Eversor Mk. II is very effective in mitigating energy and kinetic attacks.
  • Lightsaber Resistance - The Eversor Mk. II also has a very high resistance to lightsabers, allowing the wearer to challenge such vaunted wielders of the legendary weapons with a reliable degree of protection.
  • Bump in the Night - Capable of hiding the wearer and the equipment on their person from sensor, scanner, and visual detection, the Eversor Mk. II's suite of stealth systems makes it nigh-invisible under virtually all conditions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Tensor - Unfortunately, the Eversor Mk. II performs poorly in mitigating the compressed tractor beam waves fired by tensor weapons.
  • Mechanical Mutation - Practitioners of Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting arts can quite feasibly disable, corrupt, and/or manipulate many of the Eversor Mk. II's electronics, most notably the miniaturized energy shield projectors, provided that they have a direct line of sight to the it. A skilled wielder of such arts could easily compromise the suit's protective qualities and possibly more.
  • Neck Piece - In addition to serving as additional protection, the neck piece also houses sensitive electronics and support systems. While resilient, damage to this part could compromise these functions, leaving the wearer deprived of sensors and other utility functions.
  • Bone Chill - The suit's performance in defending the wearer from weaponized cold leaves much to be desired. While its protection is better than nothing, the wearer is better off depending on an external system to defend against this class of weapon. However, its protection is sufficient to protect the wearer from arctic environments the likes of Hoth and Ilum, owing to the fact that the cold in these biomes is significantly less concentrated than that of the conditions generated by CryoBan weaponry.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Drone Strike - The FAE/DSF-01 Starfighter Drone has a very high armament for a craft of its class. This design decision makes the platform incredibly versatile, being just as capable of dogfighting in the void as it is in unleashing close air support runs, carrying out assassination missions to take out high-value targets located deep in enemy territory, and performing missile runs on capital ships.
  • Amphibian - The FAE/DSF-01’s electromotive field motors and hydrostatic field system allows the craft to traverse underwater and remain submerged for an indefinite period of time. In a pinch, this function could be used to hide from pursuing enemy forces or even to initiate a surprise attack.
  • Autonomous - Perhaps the greatest strength of any drone craft is the lack of a real pilot to be killed or wounded in the event that the craft is shot down. In addition, the FAE/DSF-01’s artificial intelligence is capable enough that the craft can be operated entirely autonomously with performance equivalent to that of most droid starfighters. However, the Kainate prefers to have the craft controlled by remote pilots whenever possible.
  • Camouflage - The FAE/DSF-01 has an adaptive camouflage system, giving the drone the ability to blend into its surrounding environment. While this is not perfect stealth and does not grant sensor invisibility, the system can make it somewhat more difficult for hostiles to acquire a target lock or a visual firing solution.
  • SLAM - For a quick burst of speed, the FAE/DSF-01 can activate its SLAM. This system is often used to power out of an attack run or to outrun pursuers.
WEAKNESSES
  • Weak Shields - With shields rated at half the strength of those of a T65 X-Wing, the FAE/DSF-01 is less capable of standing up to fire than its competition. The craft instead relies on burst firepower and alpha strike capabilities to potentially end an engagement before it begins.
  • Mechu-deru - An unspoken weakness of any complicated and advanced technology, the FAE/DSF-01 is vulnerable to the dark sorceries of Mechu-deru and other technology-corrupting powers. As such, a skilled practitioner of such arts could feasibly disable the FAE/DSF-01, inflicting any number of technical malignancies or malfunctions. Furthermore, the FAE/DSF-01 utilizes an aggressive, bloodthirsty Myrmidon AI in its targeting system. In theory, a techno-sorcerer could exploit this characteristic by disabling the safeguards that keep the Myrmidon in check, at which point the weapons could fire indiscriminately, targeting both friend and foe.
  • Sensitive Passive Sensors - The passive sensor array on the hull of the FAE/DSF-01 is an extreme boon to the craft’s battlespace awareness, especially in conditions where the use of active sensors may reveal the starfighter’s location. However, they are also very vulnerable, as even glancing blows can destroy or disable the sensors on or around the affected areas. In essence, as the hull takes more hits, the Spyglass’ passive reception array will become increasingly ineffective.
  • SLAM - Usage of the FAE/DSF-01's SLAM comes at the expense of its cannons. In addition, extended use of the system will drain power faster than it can be replenished, forcing the pilot to divert power from other systems, such as shields and countermeasures, in order to maintain it over long periods. The SLAM will also give the craft a larger sensor signature for the duration of its activation.
  • Ammunition Explosion - The FAE/DSF-01 carries a large missile payload for a craft of its size. The magazines for these warheads are stored at the insides of the wings, close to the fuselage. A penetrating shot to these magazines could detonate a warhead, with ensuing sympathetic detonations likely destroying the craft entirely.
DESCRIPTION
Representing First United Astral Engineering's first droid starfighter, the FAE/DSF-01 "Agonizer" Starfighter Drone is a design produced for the exclusive use of the Kainate and their Sith allies. Unique from most conventional droid starfighter designs, the FAE/DSF-01 can be remotely-piloted by a organic operator, often from a carrier or a control station. In this regard, the FAE/DSF-01 blends the advantages of droid starfighters and organic-piloted starfighters.

In line with its strike role classification, the FAE/DSF-01 is a multirole starfighter. A powerful armament allows the craft to perform well across wide range of mission profiles, from escort, close air support, interception, and high-value target hunting.

All in all, the FAE/DSF-01 is hoped to break new ground for the Kainate, improving the lethality of the Starfighter Corps drone complements.
