SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Crewless turret and remote vehicle stations ensures that this tank offers a premium for crew protection and survive-ability. Armor is an Alusteel overlay with an Ionite-A undercoating on top of a light Phrik-A base. This offers very good basic protections against small arms and even anti-vehicle munitions but against heavier vehicle weapons this will be found wanting.
  • Repulsorlift propulsion and power plant on this vehicle give it the ability to essentially ignore most, if not all, terrains. This makes the power to weight ratio even more apparent as rather than relying on tradition tracks or legs, the IFV just moves where ever it wants.
  • Internal bay can house up to a full squad of 10 dismounts and their equipment or 15 B-7 battle droids in their droid infantry configuration.
  • Weapons load on the vehicle gives it the ability to support infantry formations even after dropping off soldiers, using the 35mm cannon to hit a variety of targets while the Variable Warhead Launcher tackles harder or harder to hit targets like tanks and low flying craft. Light/Heavy Repeating Blasters on the side are able to hit enemy infantry without using the other weapons.
  • Various escape hatches on the vehicle not only allow for the crew, but passengers to perform an easy and safe emergency disembarkation from the vehicle in case of battlefield damage, accidents, or other emergency.
  • Rear wall of the vehicle can lower to provide a much larger "ramp" for soldiers to embark/disembark or a small troop hatch in the ramp for safer entering/exiting the vehicle. This ramp however can also be used to knock down un-reinforced walls to provide new access points for soldiers in the vehicle.
  • Turret has a two camera system with one slaved to the main cannon, and other being for the vehicle commander to use to scan surroundings. This system also allows for the vehicle commander to spot, lase, or even slew the main gun onto targets giving the vehicle commander unprecedented versatility on the field.
STRENGTHS
  • A weapon for the infantry - This fighting vehicle has a single purpose in mind. To transport and support the infantry on the field of battle. And with its variety of weapons, speed and internal bays for squads it does this very well. This means that in any mechanized infantry formation you have a vehicle platform that is capable of moving your troops out quick, drop them off in advantageous locations, and then provide direct fire support with its weapons, or even advance alongside them as they move across terrain.
  • Armored Cavalry - This vehicle is fast and very responsive regardless of terrain. The repulsors in this vehicle are extremely powerful giving it the ability to respond extremely quickly to driver commands and giving it unparalleled maneuverability for a vehicle of its size and weight. Add into this the drive train's power supply being an Isotope-5A Micro-reactor, and this thing can operate anytime, anywhere, regardless of the supply situations.
WEAKNESSES
  • This isn't a tank - This vehicle while not having as much armor or fire power as other vehicles of its same size, is still about as large. That is a very huge problem for vehicle crews as this means that they become pretty big targets meaning they have to use their speed, tactics, and specialized firepower to win the day to support their dismounts. Or in some cases, just sit back and let their dismounts do the work if they'd only get in the way.
  • Repulsorlift Tech - These are vulnerable to repulsorlift jamming technology, so if the repulsorlifts aren't working, this vehicle ain't moving. Turret will still work though so I guess you have that working for you.
DESCRIPTION
The basis of any mechanized infantry formation, is the IFV or Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The M-6 IFV is a fairly standard entry into this vehicle type, using repulsorlifts as its main method of transportation. This allows this vehicle to essentially ignore most if not all terrains, being able to get to and maintain max speed on any terrain. This makes this vehicle able to extremely responsive in any terrain, and also be able exceptionally maneuverable for the vehicle's size and weight. The next layer being the armor and hull, this vehicle doesn't disappoint with its construction being a standard Composite Hull produced from Freebirds Industries, giving the vehicle strength where it needs it while keeping the weight and flexibility of vehicle hull good. And with the Composite Spaced Armor construction, and crewless turret design crew and troop survival is excellent. And then there's the turret of the vehicle, standard carrying a M-44 Auto-cannon, with a multi-missile launcher and two Repeating blasters for infantry suppression. This variety of firepower gives the crew of this vehicle options for engaging, fixing, and destroying enemies they face in the field. Lastly, but certainly not least is the dismount compartment. Able to carry ten infantry dismounts or fifteen B-7 battle droids, this vehicle can bring a fair number of equally dangerous, if not more dangerous combatants to the field. And with that kind of backup this vehicle will be something enemy commanders will spot in force, and immediately have to scramble to defend against. Because with these vehicles' ability to rapidly redeploy their forces and force new avenues of attack, you can seize the initiative and stay on the offense. And everyone knows, the best defense, is an absolutely tenacious, ferocious, and unstoppable offense.
