Lords of the Fringe Dominion of Taloraan

Haven Pryde

Pirate Queen | ODF Marine
Haven was now searching the mines for a control center and as she walked through It she had been given the slight impression that the mines were filled with workers and so not to hurt any of them yet it now appears the mines are deserted so as she walks deeper into the mines she looks around and pushes her mentality outward trying to focus and figure on a specific locale and vantage point but finds no one inside the mines.

could they have been evacuated? she asks herself as she wanders around using her blade for light in the protruding darkness of the mines, funny how it seems Haven is by herself and is in these mines wandering around in the darkness.

“Green Leader, Green Leader, we have enemy boogies targeting the TibannaX factory. Intercept them at all costs. While you are at it ask the Admiral where the damn anti-air systems are that we were promised.” Jared shouted in the comms while dodging the missiles from one of those damn starfighters. “Oh, right. OVER.” He added to the comm.

At this point Jared hardly used the targeting system, he was immersed entirely in the flow of the Force; reacting on base instincts. While moving on the tides of the Force he heard Green Leader reply to him. “Acknowledged, Green Nugget, Green Squadron is on intercept course. Try to stay alive will ya? Jacobs will have my head if you do not. “

Jared had to smile at that, the legendary concern of the Green Squadron. Suddenly he felt an elevation in the Force and knew that this was the time to fire. Without a doubt on his mind Jared launched two concussion missiles hoping it would at least kiss the the boogie.

When the lights went out he seized one mind then a second then a third and slowly the all began to scream and yelp in pain then they fell to their knees at lucien's command He ignited his saber and strode forward he placed on the squad leaders soldier then flicked his wrist and decapitated the leader "The Lords of the fringe have seized control, Join me or you will die" some men joined him some men joined the headless leader. He wondered how the commodore was getting on.He gave the order for torches to be turned on then moved down the corridor.

"Feth, we got a live one. Sloppy, but good instincts." Jorus grimaced, squinting, as his Stormhammer's laser cannons chewed Ovmar's warheads out of the sky. He held down the trigger, turning that stream of fire on the oncoming starfighter. Jorus' ship was a Y-wing equivalent, sans ion cannons: Good punch, bad legs.

The rest of Red Squadron got off a few warheads before the Greens were on them. Concussion missiles slammed into the TibannaX refinery, and it tilted in midair. The dogfight began in earnest as Jorus set about trusting his sluggish Koensayr fighter's legendary durability. There would be incoming fire, he knew that. Shields double-front, lasers pounding at @[member="Jared Ovmar"]'s oncoming ship.

Sargon hadn't even gotten a chance to join the newly acquired pirates before his command had new orders for him. The planetary AA had been among the first things to go down, but no one had put them back online again, and it seemed there was some dog fighting going on. The communication tower he'd taken over earlier was equipped with some but if they wanted enough to be useful against fighters , they'd need more. In theory it was the easiest operation he was going to get this entire mission.

Already the pair of gunships had turned them towards separate AA sites mounted atop the floating cities. The cities had plenty of smaller anti-air the problem was most of it was based against enemy craft already in the atmosphere as such he'd have to stick to stick to either turbo-lasers of heavy flak batteries. Given the turbo-lasers accuracy was made for capital ships the flak batteries were the easy pick.

Tigon had more luck with his placement as there was a pair of flak launchers, and those were just nasty. It would take longer to get them online though as the targeting computer would need some time to run its algorithms and link up to various scanners. Once it did though those missile pods would be absolutely devastating to any enemy fighters.

The gunship dropped them off on the AA platform, the massive forms of the guns dominating large platform. They could only man five but it would be more then enough to fill space with the giant slugs, and once they burst those little balls would make it past any shields. ::Optio Sargon, to Fringe fighters we have AA batteries up::

Lifting himself up into the gunner's sear he couldn't help but grin. Finally the navy boys had to beg the ground pounders for help. Watching his target's trajectory and speed Sargon squeezed the trigger. Soon there would be a lot more of a party up there.

“Roger, Sargon, took you long enough. I will buy you a drink when we are back.” Jared said with a smile while trying to evade all those damn lasers the enemy pilot was throwing at him. The fecker was clearly the superior pilot, but that would not stop Jared to try and beat his ass.

Jared started to move his ship in range of the flak launchers which just came online. He hoped the pilot on his ass would try to follow him; if he did he would be toast.

"Reds, this is Gypsy. Nugget's trying to lure me into flak land. Let's see what happens."

Jorus closed his eyes and gunned the engines, staying on Ovmar's tail, close enough that the flak would threaten both ships. He could fly with his gut, make up for the sluggish maneuverability of his starfighter. And his gut helped with other things too.

For example, he skewed wildly from side to side, rolling with the expanding waves of flak burst after flak burst. The Stormhammer was, above all else, an exceptionally durable ship, and those flak pellets which punched through his particle shields rattled against his hull plating like rain, leaving spiderwebbed cracks on his viewport. There was no question of firing his concussion missiles again: flak was best used to handle warheads, and a launch right now would mean instant detonation. Instead he just hung on, shields equalized fore/aft, and snapped laser bolts into Ovmar's engines when he could find a spare heartbeat.

No amount of careful aiming could make a perfect shot between the enemy and allied fighters when it came to a Flak cannon. They debris field would be causing quite the mess up there for all parties. The entire game was about to change in a moment though, the flak pods would be active and they were quite a bit more accurate and deadly. Once a pod missile was locked on it would hunt its target down and once it got in front it leave a wall of high speed flak. If that didn't work then Sargon wasn't sure what to tell the Fringe pilots its was the biggest gun they had at the moment.

::Optio Sargon, this is Tigon. The flak pods launchers are a go. We'll commence firing now.:: With a satisfied feeling Sargon kept firing the flak. At the very least he'd given the enemy a good distraction. Moving the massive cannon to line up his next few shots he had a thought he changed the charge on the flak and pulled the trigger again. He'd get less spread, but if he had any luck they'd hit harder. Of course he wasn't an expert on space combat so they might very well just simply continue to fly like a giant slug past the ships altogether.

Finding another forward command post, Ashin patched into a suddenly noisy comm. It appeared that the planet was won, though a squadron or two of unidentified small craft were trying to raid or destroy that TibannaX refinery. Feth. At least she had some good assets over there.

Tarika Sadow*

Shadow Fleet Commander | Rule Breaker
(OOC: @[member="Lucien Cordel"] Let's continue the mission until it's over and then do whatever, it'd be a shame to come this far and not finish)

Tarika found the lights out and the door opened, her arms flying up and flame spraying the soldiers and the her own opened fire on them and shot them dead, she started to walk into the door way when more soldiers came round the corner, tarika grabbed two and snapped their necks while her soldiers opened up fire on the rest, these were not worth saving since their minds state they were unwilling to trade sides for more pay and better benefits, but they were close and another 10 feet and they would be in the command room of the leaders, it would be nice to torture them but shinju just up and disappeared so that was out of the question.

Clara Foster

Dark Lady of Nightmares
Clara made it to the other side of the complex and set the final bomb, she already set three bombs in hangars, one in a barrack and the last in a weapons depot and so she headed out of the complex and walked straight through the makeshift town, her mind focused on the here-and-now mission at hand and she wondering how big the explosion would be, since she packed the IED's with enough explosives to take out a small moon but as she walked out she draws both her enforcers which are rogue recon pistols and shoots two soliders as they round the corner, another two are coming straight as he so she kneels and fires hitting them both in their chests taking out their pumpers, afterward she raises one of her weapons to the side and fires off another blast taking out a speeder patrol.

Standing again she begins to walk on and finds a lone speeder bike and mounts it, the keys were still inside of it and she ignites the engines and rides away, the complex has less that 40 seconds before it goes off, riding out of the complex with 5 seconds lerft she smirks and then suddenly hears the BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! and feels the fire from the explosion on her skin, she is proud and then radios ahead Mission Command, echo-one has been taken, I repeat the military base has been completed: mission successful as she rides off she can't wait to regroup.

Haven Pryde

Pirate Queen | ODF Marine
Finding the mine control room she looked around and finds a bunch of bodies and kneels next to one finding they were killed recently, something had done them in... as she looked around she finds soldiers dead and workers dead... everybody is dead.

As she walks into the control room she begins to halt mining operations and finds that the area has been secured, getting on her radio she makes her full report Mission Command, This is Ice Queen... Mission is Complete, I repeat: the main tibanna mine has been liberated she spoke as she headed for the entrance and quickly left the mine behind completely secured.

Lucien followed behind Tarika as his troops opened fire.He slashed through a few soldiers and stood before the doors to the room were the leaders coward. He turned to Tarika a wicked smile etched on his face "We could give them a fright and blow the doors off"

Tarika Sadow*

Shadow Fleet Commander | Rule Breaker
She smirked at his statement and the gathered the force in her hand, a wicked amount of energy pooled quickly and then she responded to his suggestion On three we blow the door open...1....2...3...go! she said while letting the energy blast off her hand and into the door, they both used their combined energy and the door shredded to their might.

@[member="Lucien Cordel"]

The door sprang open, along with the wall Lucien stepped into the room and spoke "Ladies and gentlemen effective immediately you are relieved of your responsibilities and have thirty seconds to fall to your knees before I lend a hand" He smiled and sat at the head of the conference table that dominated the room. The more spineless ones of the group dropped immediately but most just wondered why a dusty bloodstained man was bossing them about.

Tarika Sadow*

Shadow Fleet Commander | Rule Breaker
(This will be done very quickly, trust me)

tarika walked in after Lucien did and sent flames at the ones still standing and then looked at the others You are now a apart of the Lords of the Fringe, now please come with us so we can work out your formal business contracts she said and then got on her chrono and spoke directly to command base-Echo this is Commodore Sadow, leadership secured heading back now then she looked at Cordel and walked out followed by her own troops and headed back to the command base they set up.

(FIN)

Yun-Harla sat back at HQ with a box of donuts and hot chocolate. She listened to the entire transmissions everything and sighed softly. A smile crossed her face as she bit into a glazed donut and pondered the situation at hand. Things were getting very interesting for the Fringe and she liked it. Standing from her seated position she wandered down the hallway towards the library.
