Lucien was born to the rich shipping magnate Adir Cordel and his wife Howera, He was born in a private medical clinic when the boy tested positive for force sensitivity his father, fearing for the loss of his son to the Jedi, paid a small fortune to have the results fabricated. As their only child the two parents doted upon their child bending to his every whim ensuring he lived a comfortable sheltered childhood this caused Lucien to become selfish.
His force abilities were well hidden only coming out when Lucien became upset or angry, when this occurred his parents were swift to deter attention, and the constant lies instilled little emphasis on honesty. His father attempted to instil more positive morals in the child at the age of 12 Lucien’s grandfather began to train him to become an officer, teaching him tactics and Physical fitness. These pursuits changed Lucian for a time however at 16 Lucian began to be tempted by the vices involved with excess.
Lucien began to skip training to drink with his friends, at 17 he was bribed to return to training with a custom-built yacht he continued training by day but racing by night. He was impressed by the power and respect the Jedi commanded however the rules deterred him from joining them, it was then that he heard whispers of the sith and the dark Jedi’s and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
He was given a generous allowance, more than most received in a year, however, enough was never enough he was eager to receive the inheritance set down for him in his parent's will. He made several attempts to accelerate his parent's demise hiring an assassin who was foiled by his families security, he attempted also to sabotage his father’s ship however his lack of knowledge meant that the ship was still functional he finally settled on the direct option taking one of his grandfather’s blades and ordering the security to leave the house he stabbed his parents in their sleep. He then set off in search of his legendary sith following the rumours all the way to Korriban.
By the age of twenty he had finished basic sith training and had begun working within the Old (Or perhaps Old, Old, Old there have been so many sith empires) Empire's military his first major battle was the Roache Conquest. Upon reaching the rank of Knight he began seeking ways to better himself. This led him to seek the governorship of Elom a job he loved however his eyes were set on a larger prize, It was around this time he adopted his son Darien, He has kept Darien's true parentage under wraps as far as anyone knows Darien is his biological son.
He reached Thirty and in his eyes, he had practically achieved that prize, he was now a master of the force and an influential body within the fringe.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :
+/- Lucien is Intelligent having had the finest education money could buy and has been taught keen tactics by his grandfather, Father and a string of mentors including great titans of galactic history. He also knows he's intelligent and can often appear arrogant.
+/- He Binds himself by the rules of etiquette and what he considers "Classy" although he is very flexible over what is 'classy' and often detestable things can be brushed under the carpet if he rationalises them.
+/- Lucien is overly proud and self-absorbed his Name and reputation mean far more than the lives and feelings of others. Given the choice between stabbing his own mother for money and waiting for her to die, he chooses to stab his mother and would likely do so again.
+/- Lucien is fearless when dealing with those who serve to oppose him, The only things he truly fears are losing his Dignity or Losing his son. He does however dislike violence no matter how much he threatens to inflict it, he prefers to have others inflict pain for him
+/- Lucien is greedy, He is therefore quite willing to blur lines to get what he wants
+/- His humanity has wicked away in his time in the nether making him more callous and unempathetic. Sometimes empathy comes to him when he takes time to think but his initial reactions are normally acidic and cutting.
