STRENGTHS
  • Plastoid-Ceramic Composite: While Plastoid by itself is a extremely protective material the designers at Hekler'Kok created a composite made of both Plastoid and Ceramic, silicon carbide to be exact, that gives the wearer a high degree of protection from blasters and slugthrowers
  • Environmental Protection: The aspects of the "Acumen" system included in the armor and the hermetically sealed bodyglove allows a high degree of protection from environmental factors as well as from chemical and biological weapons
  • Highly Versatile: With its use of magnetic hardpoints each legionnaire to customize their loadout as they see fit and give them a high degree of versatility
WEAKNESSES
  • Low Ion Protection: The inclusion of more than a few electronic components in the armor makes it somewhat vulnerable to ion attacks
  • Low Sonic Protection: While the armors construction gives it a high degree of protection from blasters and slugthrowers it doesn't offer the same amount of protection from sonic weaponry
  • Low Lightsaber: While the armor's inclusion of Asheran Armorweave gives it a small degree of protection from lightsabers it is still only a small amount
DESCRIPTION
With the construction of the Legion they needed a set of combat armor for their legionnaires and for this Noah dug deep into his repertoire and began to work on it. He began by looking at basic designs for the armor and he settled on a design that was a mix of the ubiquitous Republic Clone Trooper armor, both Phase I and II, and Imperial Stormtrooper armor.

After this was chosen he began choosing the materials to use in the armors construction. He began by choosing the bodyglove materials, choosing to construct it out of two different layers. The primary layer was made of Asheran Armorweave which gave a degree of extra protection from blaster bolts. The secondary layer was made of Kinetic Impact Gel giving the bodyglove another layer extra layer of protection, this time from slugthrowers. The last thing that needed to be chosen was what the armor plates would be constructed of. For this Noah experimented with a few materials before deciding on a Plastoid-Ceramic composite giving the armor a high degree of protection from both blaster bolts, due to the plastoid, and slugs, due to the ceramic.

Once the armored was designed and the materials chosen Noah began work on the features the armor would need. He started with the helmet where he added in a "Acumen" Helmet System from Jaeger Solutions as well as a Auto Polarizing and Anti-Flare Visor. Next came the torso where he made sure the bodyglove was hermetically sealed and insulated to protect the wearer from not only any environment they find their self in and against chemical and biological weapons. Thirteen magnetic load bearing hardpoints were added to allow wearers to customize their loadout as they see fit with the magnetic hardpoint on the back allowing for the mounting of an optional backpack or jetpack.

Lastly the inclusion of a battle belt capable of carrying everything from a canteen to an extra grenade and a optional kama completed the features for the torso. Lastly the extremities were decided on, they both had six magnetic hardpoints installed in them with the legs getting magnetic soles for better grip in low gravity environments and the arms getting magnetic palms for more secure grips on weapons.
