DESCRIPTION
Looking to build another piece of gear that they could market to a wide variety of customers the Hekler'Kok design team began work on a utility belt that could fill this niche. Instead of creating a utility belt that was limited by coming pre-packaged with gear the design team at Hekler'Kok instead went with a belt that while still coming with some gear pre-packed most of the space on the belt is dedicated to free space so the user can customize it as they see fit.

Like with all Hekler'Kok products, the design team started out by choosing the material. They decided to use the same Reflec impregnated fabric they used in the Variable Environment Camouflage Pattern.

With the material chosen they moved onto the features that would be implemented in the belt, which needless to say was a whole lot of them. They started out by adding lumbar and hip padding to make the belt as comfortable as possible to wear. Optional suspenders were included to make the belt more comfortable when wearing alone. Magnetic/physical attachment points were added to allow the belt to be attached to metal and non-metal armor.

A series of storage pouches allow for the carrying of slugthrower magazines, blaster power cells, grenades and glowrods. A comlink allows for long distance communication while a holomap projector gives you a good view of terrain. A first aid kit gives the ability to treat minor combat or survival wounds. A combat/utility knife and survival machete give the wearer a pair of blades that can be used for a wide variety of situations.

A rebreather allows for breathing in environments hazardous to the user. A grappling spike launchers allows for climbing of sheer surfaces. An ambidextrous and universal allows can be worn on either hip and fits most regular sized sidearms. Lastly a series of additional webbing on the belt allows for even more equipment to be carried.
