STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Shi phsyiology:
Shi possess an organ which allows them to harness the force without actually being force sensitive themselves. This grants a form of extreme physical ability and occasional telikinesis. However, as Laila is a force sensitive (Vo Ni) she is able to fully harness the organs abilities, which greatly enhances her physical ability and telekinetic mastery. Her particular Vo is strong and helps her considerably in the case of telekinesis and physical ability.

Otherwise, Shi are mostly akin to typical humans physically speaking.

Vo Ni:
Though not the most powerful, or even in the top ten of Vran'Ti, Laila is still notably gifted in her force sensitivity. And is very skilled in what she does know. As a student of Nexus Krae, the Vran'Ti Vo Ni, this grants her access to considerable knowledge to work with. She specializes in telekinesis and illusions, and often utilizes Familiars very similar to the sith in practice, though usually created from already living creatures and granting her much greater control over the beasts as a result as well as the ability to project powers and rituals through it at a distance, a very useful skill to have.

Science:
Like many Vran, Laila is an excellent scientist for anything organic. And knows quite well how their bodies work. As a result she can operate as a medic, or even preform experiments, pinpoint probable weaknesses, and make more finetuned use of the BIOMED's that Vran'Ti often employs.

Physical: Because of the combination of her Vo and training, Laila is an incredible physical combatant and is well over the strength of an average person when using the force/her Vo to enhance her abilities. She often uses this to her advantage in terrains in which agility is necessary.

Piloting skill: Laila is one of the very rare skilled pilots that come from Vran'Ti as their home, this is of course definitely thanks to her force sensitivity and not only pure skill, but she has grown more and more experienced with flying fighters and the like.

Age: Many Vo Ni live a longer life then an average human.

Weaknesses:
Laila is still hardly the strongest individual in the force. And her Vo has a considerable amount of use when it comes to combative use, as a result her focus is almost always on outthinking and out-enduring opponents due to her ability to enhance her physical abilities so much with her Vo. Her telekinesis is considerable, and her use of familiars is good. But she is hardly what would be considered a sorcerer or the like and is still rather unlearned in many techniques used in combat.

Armor: She usually has rather light armor and prefers a much more agility focused route. This is partially due to being used to a world where other races, such as the Ven, outclass her physically so much that beating them by armor would be effectively pointless, but there's at least the chance she could fair better if she can move faster then them or keep up at least.

Emotion: Laila is plenty emotional when it comes to her people or those she considers friends, and can be pretty easily angered by them being put in danger. Which can disrupt her focus if prompted correctly by a clever opponent. Though sometime this is unwise, if they're relying purely on her making slip ups in her actual combat, but it can effect her strategy and can be used to lure her into traps much more easily.

BIOGRAPHY:
Laila is one of the Vo Ni of Vran'Ti. Though more rare in number compared to humans, when a Vran was force sensitive truly they were almost always found and put through more training. Laila was one such occasion. She proved she was plenty enough skilled to be able to do her job. However, she also proved to be rather easily influenced by the right people. Nexus decided he would make himself one such person. In Laila's position, an offering to be taught and seen as a hand of the Vran'ti Vo Ni was an incredibly wonderful offering and she took it happily. Knowing it would grow her in knowledge, power, and skill. The woman would start learning quickly. It would also be under his teaching that she would begin learning how to gain access to Familiar which she began using actually incredibly often. Although less powerful then some others, she was an excellent combatant, and was strong enough with telekinesis and the body thanks to her Vo, which was itself plenty strong, that she could handle combat with others of high caliber.

Her use and creation of familiar was different than that of their sith brethren in that they often were not created, but converted creatures. Of normal living beasts, and could do this with many at a time. Additionally she had gained considerable skill with casting illusion's at a distance.

Her training under Nexus however was cut short, though she was aware of his ritual to grow even stronger she was kept away due to needing to help ensure other details were running properly. Laila was one of the first to realize however that the ritual failed. Her familiarity with him alerted her immediately when she felt his presence distort and then shrink out of her senses, presumably to being dead. Unfortunately, her position was now far from assured. And with the Eternal Empires control over Vran'Ti, and the cooperation Nexus had given to them, maintaining proper order had been all but lost. On top of that, Nexus's favoritism had unfortunately also resulted in her gaining enemies as well. In an attempt to cut her losses, Laila made off with a ship, plenty of resources, medical and alchemical equipment, and some familiars. Legally she was afforded all of this, but she still wasn't risking it.

However like some others, hearing upon the Eternal Empires departure from power as well as Fe Tserim's takeover. Laila began to return. Unlike some though, her return was not one to restore order. She was already an outlier among Vran when it came to her belief systems with Nexus teaching her some matters of the sith, even though in secret. But now she was considering this new system a potentially better replacement. To her, Nexus failed her. Maybe even betrayed her. She could have learned so much more under him, become so much more, yet he went off to become a god and disappeared immediately after. A failure. Maybe in this new system, she could do well.
