SPECIAL FEATURES

 • Alchemized bow: The bow itself is designed for a force user by a force user. It is not only immensely durable and capable of taking hits from lightsabers or blasters, but has a much greater draw strength, requiring strength beyond normal human capacity to even draw. This gives it a much longer range and also more power. This type of alchemy is neither light or dark sided, but merely a use of the basic concept of alchemy. It also makes it more resistant so it can be used to block force lightning.

 • Enchanted: using a method not dissimilar to the idea of Sith_magic though with a more neutral outlook, the bow and arrows both are essentially imbued with the force to become especially dangerous. With the arrows fired from the bow hitting with far more power, being as hot as a blaster when shot, and a moment after making contact essentially exploding. A normal arrow fired from the weapon (so long as it is durable enough to withstand it) will still be hot when fired, though would not be as much as a blaster bolt nor have the same power behind it.

Strengths:

 • Good range

 • Average firing speed (though mainly depends on whose hands its in)

 • Powerful hitter.

 • Extremely durable

 • Does not rely on energy cannisters

 • Different types of arrows could be used, or reused

 • Enchanted arrows are hotter and explode after impact

 • Can fire more then one shot at a time

 • Much quieter then a blaster

 • The angles can be used more then with a blaster
Weaknesses:

 • Slower shots then a slugthrower

 • Ammunition is usually much more limited then a blaster, or may require being near a source to fire more.

 • Would not be easily used by most allies due to the considerable draw strength requirement

 • Just like the arrows fall speed can be used to the shooters advantage, it also means direct shots are not usually possible at long range.

 • Enchanted arrows require time to make, as a result additional regular arrows may need to be kept on hand and do not have the same explosive impact as enchanted ones.

 • Ysilimir fields and other anti-force aspects can prevent the immense heat and explosive ability of the arrows, though they will retain a lot more power then a traditional bow or energy bow.

 • Does not possess great offensive close range uses.

DESCRIPTION:
Created as just one of Laila’s weapons, her bow is actually not an entirely uncommon weapon among Vo Ni who choose to take on a type of weaponry that is ranged. As their greater senses and strength make using such a weapon much easier then expected, and also mean they can use it’s unconventional methods against those expecting blasters to be used against them. Its alchemized design means it can also be used defensively against attacks. Although it does require excellent strength, and attention, to use. And it’s firing speed is not comparable to that of many weapons available to even a regular citizen. This is essentially seen as just a very mobile mini-rocket launcher that doubles as a defensive weapon.
