“Micah.” Aela practically hissed the word, though there was a certain amount of pride in it. “Protect me please.”

What she would do next would need concentration, power, and not less than a hint of focus. Her eyes snapped shut, her fingers wound around the lightsaber, and her hand came up. No force push jumped from her palm, no crackle of electricity or any other kind of force power.

Instead a haze appeared around Sabena, a shimmering field.

It appeared within the thorns, surrounding the young Jedi Knight and quickly becoming opaque. Within half a second the bubble had transformed from a see through haze to a completely solid field. Within seconds the thorns found themselves scraping against the bubble of protection, rendered completely and entirely useless.

He wrinkled his nose, wondering what sort of smell was leaking into the air around him. Doesn't smell like fuel? Maybe something the Sith brought with them? He had tales of the Sith bringing strange warbeasts shaped by arcane alchemy or engineered by ruthless Vong shapers. Yet as he turned his attention on the smell, he felt a nearing presence of darkness. The man's hand dropped down to the rest on the cold hilt of his saber. Travot drew it, but his finger hovered over the activation stud. It's curious how such a personal object of beauty and contemplation can be so destructive. In some ways, he wondered if a person's attachment to their weapon went against the core philosophy of the Jedi Order. Yet he himself regarded the weapon fondly as an ever-present companion that had helped protect him from the ravages of war. his green eyes darted upwards just in time to see the Sith approach. As they did so, Travot tapped the activation stud of his saber, bringing its blue blade to life.

He entered his defensive stance, placing his lead foot forward towards the oncoming Sith, while his left foot trailed behind it and at a ninety degree angle. In his experience, this "T" stance gave him a fair amount of stability, though it limited rapid movements in any direction except to the front. His activated saber came down to the waist level with its blade parallel to the ground, ready to quickly flick up and down to deflect an attack. But the nearest Sith didn't attack him, but instead went after the padawan to his right, [member="Brad Skywalker"]. Instinctively, he threw a Force push at the two Sith apprentices, hoping to batter their charge pack as he advanced to fight side by side with the other jedi padawan.

Oh, goodie! Now there are two of them! Do not underestimate them... Underestimate? Have you noticed that they're children? The boy has peanut butter smeared on his face. Is that peanut butter? What else would it be? I don't know, I just didn't guess peanut butter. Now I'm hungry....

With his crimson blade in hand Viktor acted immediately, maneuvering himself to intercept the shipping crate that [member="Micah Talith"] had ripped from the wall with the Force and directed towards the ewok. With an upward slash of his lightsaber Viktor cleaved the box in two, causing the two halves of the box to fly in separate directions away from [member="Warok the Defiler"].

Oh, nice form! Solid upswing, just don't forget the follow through! Press them...

Without hesitation Viktor turned and began sprinting toward [member="Micah Talith"] and [member="Aela Talith"]. Once he had closed the distance to about half way he planned on reaching out with his free hand sending a telekinetic Force push of his own at Aela, hoping to catch her by surprise and knock her back and break her concentration forming the Force bubble around Sabena. Then, once he was in range he would thrust his blade with murderous intent at Micah's chest.

Valdra sighed, it seemed he was in quite a predicament. While his methods were flashy, his purpose was intemidation, the reason most Sith Lords showed off their power. It wasn't them showing how cool they were, though let's face it, they are. Intimidation was used to scare off weaker enemies to prevent them having to kill the weak. While some sith believed in killing the weak, Valdra believed in breaking the weak to make them stronger and thus a future of a better fight. He felt [member="Setzi Lunelle"] walk up behind him. He did not feel a threat still.

Some saw refraining from fight an enemy as a disgrace and as fear when sometimes it was wisdom and living to fight another day when you did not fight. Usually the skills of the "weak" can be strong in other places. Before Valdra made his move when Sabik, a assassin lackie, joined the fray. Valdra was not a fan of the assassins, they seemed less loyal to the Sith and more loyal to Ferus. On top of that, another padawan joined the young Skywalker named [member="Travot Ravenna"]. Valdra was now surrounded by Padawans. He held up his hand as his tiger reared on it's hind legs and began to change once more. While the use of Fire Shaping seemed to use a lot of energy, it used very little for him. The tiger formed into a ball the size of a speeder and bgan to rotate like a vortex was brewing inside the ball. Valdra harnessed the force into his hands and released a Force Push sending the ball past the two PC padawans and into some NPC padawans taking them out and the gate behind them shattering it and sending flames everywhere.

The place was filled with the screams of a few unlucky Padawans whose fate was sealed. Two padawans gave into their anger at the killing and charged Valdra with their sabers drawn. Valdra waited until the last moment and drew one red lightsaber arching the blade in windmill formation with the signature speed of Vaapad to cut them down and returning his lightsaber to his hip. He no longer amused the idea of sparing padawans. If they stood in his way, he would cut them down. He walked forward through the fire and wreckage, a last sign to not get in way and to look for opponents on their level. Once he was past the padawans and threw the gate he took a deep breath, he needed to conserve energy or by the time he faced Master Raaf he would be at a disadvantage.

Inside the compound, he knew not where to start so he resorted to the Force....again. He drew in a deep breath of air and the Force to amplify his voice. "SITH TRAITOR RAAF, GET OUT HERE OR I WILL SLAUGTHER ALL WHO TRY TO PROTECT YOU STARTING WITH THE YOUNGLINGS!!!!" @Taeli Raaf

The roots parted just before reaching Vengeance. Sabena’s eyes widened slightly as the vegetation continued to rush toward her - now split in two and coming for her from different directions. Sabena quickly squared her stance. She kept her lightsaber on her right side with her left hand ready to move. Her hand hovered near a second lightsaber hilt of hers that resided on her belt. She seemingly braced herself to act in some manner before the thorn-covered plant could reach her.

Then, a haze of Aela’s creation surrounded Sabena. The Jedi Knight smiled as a bubble formed what seemed to be shield surrounding her. The vegetation struck the bubble, yet did not push any further.

Thanks,” said Sabena under her breath with her eyes still pointed in the direction that Warok was in - as if she could see through the solid barrier.

Within the bubble, visual of Sabena would appear to be obscured. If she was in the bubble. The haze just before the bubble solidified obscured Sabena. The chaotic fumbling of the roots might have made it difficult to see what else happened near the bubble. For example, Sabena could have pulled the second lightsaber from her belt and tossed it aside. The Force seemed to be active near Sabena - not just because of Aela’s bubble - as if she was manipulating something with it.

Sabena’s voice then called out to the Ewok with a hum, potentially piercing through the bubble to reach him, “Watch yo̢ur ba̡ck̛.

Gear:
The product of three separate ancient traditions... foiled by a single, shimmering shield of the Force. Well, maybe not.

Warok giggled in between incantations, tottering from foot to foot like a drunkard. The fur on the back of his neck stood on end a split-second before the incoming crate hurtled through the air toward him, then the dark-haired Sith finally proved useful and lopped it into pieces with that handy lightsaber.

The Ewok's eyes remained on the target and his chant did not fail. The web of thorn vines closed, tighter and tighter, constricting the half-dome shield of Force energy like a serpent. And when it broke through, yes when, the Jedi with the pretty blue eyes would feel the questing tips of a dozen razored thorns, nigh-hard as durasteel, against her pale, pale flesh.

Oh, and the seemingly chaotic ring of reanimated vines? Well, they'd drawn tight enough to ensnarl anything tossed, like say a lightsaber hilt. As for Warok though, he couldnae hear anythin' but a muffled voice amid the humming of sabers and the rustle of vines.

Vengeance laughed as Sabena jumped to her feet. He would have been hurt if it had ended so soon. He ignored her comment about the vines not the least bit concerned about them knowing he was not target. He reversed the grip his saber bring it up and across from the right to the left. He snorted as he saw the bubble form around Sabena. He shook his head lookign past her and seeing the other two Jedi just before Viktor blew passed him towards the other Jedi. Vengeance chuckled looking at Sabena.

"Next time............next time."

Vengeance saw a much more promising target in the male Jedi. Perhaps he would be the challenge he was looking for. He leaped clear of the vines and up to Viktor.

"You distract her and try and get that bubble down." "I have something in store for the little squirt."

He laughed lifting his left hand not out but up close to his chest. His fingers began to spark and crackle just before he shot it forward sending a small burst of lightening towards Micah. He laughed out loud slowly walking forward his saber at the ready.

"More lambs to the slaughter." "Goooooooooooooooooooooood." "Did you come to die beside your friends little boy?"

Vengeance continued forward his free hand balling into a fist close to his chest. He began to smile his eyes locked on Micah.

"Are you afraid little boy afraid you will fail?" "To watch everyone and everything you care about die."

He knew it was a gamble but Vengeance tried to tap into Micah's fears. Trying to disorient him to break his focus. To tap into his fears. To take advantage of theirs efforts to save Sabena instead of pressing the attack.

His head snapped back.
His forward momentum slammed against the kinetic energy of the Force. His body went hurtling back the way he came. His muscles torqued, he engulfed himself in the Force and allowed it to guide his body. Rather than crashing against the ground, he landed with the lithe grace of a dancer. He took a moment to settle his balance, but his eyes quickly fixated on the man responsible.

Then the Sith Lord began his display of fire, and Sabik winced at the heat of the flames. He remarked aloud, for both Acolyte and Padawan to hear, "Dramatic, theatrical, but effective. He is more suited for the theater." Sabik took his eyes from the fire and charged Travot. Sabik hastened his movements, becoming a blur of motion as the Force enhanced his physical body. He sent a flurry of attacks, one after the other, at this Jedi.

Sabik's right hand flicked upwards, an attempt to launch Travot's blade up and against his face, by way of the Force. It was a move known as Sarlaac's Face. All the while he continued to run towards him, breaking the distance between the two. He brought his left arm around, as though to deliver a sweeping strike, but rather he whipped the blade forward with the movement of throwing a punch. The would-be horizontal slash became a left-to-right diagonal offensive, attempting to strike Travot from shoulder to hip.

He finished his flurry of attacks with one last move. Sabik's back arched, knees bent into a low crouch. This was a measure to defend himself from a possible swipe of the blade, and he initiated Vipers Tongue, he twisted his hips, twirling the hilt of his lightsaber through his fingers, returning to its reverse-grip and thrust his blade in its reverse-grip for the padawans abdomen.

It was clear, this apprentice's master was no simple combatant, but a master in the way of the lightsaber.

When Sage reached into the abyss of Malvern's soul, he pulled back something indescribably horrible. Whatever it was harkened back to the emptiness of the Netherworld's Bedelian Canyon, where Sage had felt death's siren's song. It was such a convincing tune, that the young man lay down in a pile of bones and surrendered himself to it, until his sister pulled him off. This strange thing also touched him with the rage he felt traversing through the Blood Wastes of the Netherworld, the rage that still drove him mad with dark urges.

Snapping his fingers into a fist, he tried to cut the ties of the drain, and failed. The entity had latched on, taking control, and it wasn't done with him yet. Sage threw his head back and howled as his seemingly human flesh on his left arm shifted and then flaked away, as if a knitting in reverse. In its place was black leathery skin that moved and uncoiled. The trio of amphistaves burst from its banelith masquer, eager to unleash terror for terror. The sentient fanged faces on each tentacle hissed and spat in a way that suggested their master was barely in control of them, and well, he wasn't. The young Knight was still mastered by the servant that was his new arm.

As the ancient power pulled apart pieces of his mind, the sections that weren't already either spice ravaged or chemically imbalanced, Sage slowly dropped his head. He faced the handsome Jedi with an expression that was now a twisted into masque of death. His cheeks were gaunt, eyes mere pinpoints in their sockets. His flesh was lined, as if some stygian creature had drawn its fingernails across each curve and bend. Was it a vision of the man that Sage would become if he continued along his current path? These were the familiar signs of Force corruption, marring his beautiful young face. Or was it possession, Khaleel Malvern's demon, exerting its will. There was no way to know, was there?

Sage's head jerked to the side twice, and then returned, his eyes still trained on Khaleel. He dropped his lightsaber and the red blade subsided with a hum. The nightmare inside of him, the one tethering him to the Jedi, scratched at his brain. This is hell versus hell, the monster said.

You won't need that thing where you're going.

As that last thought shot through his fractured mind, Sage launched himself at Khaleel. No human words escaped his lips, just long, keening wails from the belly of the Netherworld. His amphitstaves whipped out and tried to coil themselves about any stray part of the Jedi. One aimed itself at the man's thigh, another headed towards his bicep, and a third, of course, tried to wrap itself around the Jedi's neck like a serpentine constrictor.

His other hand rose up and turned. Sage began to claw at his own face.

Focusing on the Teddy Bear

The first Coruscant Psycho ( heh ) came at him in an attempt to stab at his chest. The Force went surging through Micah’s legs, pistoning them as he would leap into the air in a high arch. At that same moment his hand went to the hilt at his side, and a burst of orange would snap-hiss as his blade mid flip over Viktor’s head.

That arc of lightning would go crackling against the orange blade, absorbing the strikes as Micah came crashing down on the ground in a roll. The scent of burnt ozone would fill the air, and bright citrine eyes would snap up to his objective.

He heard his sister call to protect her, but there was only so much he could do. It was then his mind would get a bit fuzzy, feeling the press of another will in it. Micah gave a shake of his head, giving a grunt. Waves of Darkness had been a grueling test his uncle, the former Aesir of the Moross Crusade would often use to train them before. While it would not prevent a specialized mentalist from getting into his head, the training provided from his parents and his uncle would give him a little bit of a higher resistance.

Granted, it didn’t help that it would spike his worry and concern for his sister and Sabena. Fear for family and their well-being was a similar trait all the Talith’s had.

Another sweep of his hand would chuck the half crate of debris over towards Viktor, the teenager rolling to his feet to pursue the Teddy bear as he ran straight towards him, saber low and ready to strike.

Or maybe he should take a leaf from his mother’s handbook and tackle the enemy.

Micah had done the right thing.

Warok was attacking Sabena, and with the force push hurtling Aela off her feet it was only right that they should go for the Ewok. Aela was tossed halfway across the room, thrown back and coming crashing onto the floor only for her to flip and end up on her feet, her once neat hair now a tangled mess on her back, her arm scraped up slightly and her face holding a long cut.

The shield around Sabena dropped away, fading slightly as the vines began to constrict and pull again. Aela's eyes opened wide and she let out a small curse.

“Sabena!” She cried out to the older girl, her lightsaber igniting in a bright pink. With a quick flick of her wrist she threw the blade towards the other woman, with pinpoint accuracy throwing it horizontally at the vines. The blade would come in and slice through the orb like vines, hopefully giving the woman a chance to escape.

At the same time her other hand came up, her veins popping and the force flowing through her. A single spike, and the Ewok would feel a pressure around him, Aela casting Force Stasis to hold him in place for Micah.

Kaiden had been hit before, but he never really liked it. The dull aching pains that were in his head, now seemed to have married the sudden sharp burst of pain in his chest. Kaiden wasn't lifted off his feet, he was vaulted and dragged by an invisible hand towards the nearest wall. Unfortunately, there wasn't really a wall behind him. It would have been better for him to have hit the wall- but instead, he built momentum, more and more- till he slammed into the ground, skidding along it. The same sound that sneakers on a court made, except it was the sound of a man in armor feeling the impact and the roll of being hit by a powerful burst of energy. Kaiden's body rolled and rolled like a fat kid down a hill, before he finally stopped, scuffed up and his face aching from the impact. His body felt like he'd put been under a steam roller, and spit out on the other side.

Kaiden felt his body go limp, and he felt like taking a six hour nap right then and there. But there were people counting on him. 'Specially the dead ones. Dead ones counting on him to get some sort of retribution or justice, or just plain old stop the madness. The madness. Madness that he had been involved in since he was 19 years old. What he saw, when he looked up at [member="Sage Bane"], was like looking at hell itself, again. Kaiden had been through hell, literally and figuratively. He saw Sage use his hellbeasts to attack the Jedi, but Kaiden wasn't having any of it. He reached for his sidearm, which was several feet to his left, grasping at it, and rolled onto his back, aiming upwards at Sage.

"Hey ugly."

He fired like a madman, accurate shooting from years of training in the best shooting position he could think of, right at that Sith's chest. He couldn't wait to see what his face looked like when he got riddled with bullets. Kaiden was old-school, he liked slugthrowers. Had a more satisfying impact and kill ratio, in his opinion. Also, he liked knowing that he could make them bleed, if nothing else.

Her lightsaber hadn't even come close to the pungent Jedi before she felt an invisible force, like a brick wall, hit her in the side. As she was pushed sideways, her lightsaber clattering out of her hand, Kerstas noticed two things: One, the force had also hit Sabik (what a shame), and two, it came from yet another Jedi, probably Padawan (how bothersome).

She rolled once, twice, but was back on her feet just in time to hear Sabik's comment. Calling her lightsaber back to her hand, she replied loudly, "Well, the Dark Lord knows I certainly won't be like that when I'm older." The girl glanced at the second Padawan before tossing one last comment at her partner: "I'll take this one. You can remove the putrid Padawan."

As her new opponent advanced, Kerstas decided to adopt the Makashi form of fighting; while she was not as skilled in it as Shii-Cho, it was better-equipped for a single adversary, and she was more comfortable with it than Ataru. The Chagrian performed the traditional salute, then attacked.

Once she was close enough, the girl attempted to perform a shiak -- or, in other words, stab at the Padawan's abdomen. Thrusting forward, she made an effort to position herself in such a way as to be able to retreat, if necessary.

Through it all, though, there was no anger. Irritation? Yes. Mild dislike? Yes, not only directed at the smelly boy but at Jedi in general (despicable worms, the lot of them). But none of the boiling rage which was so characteristic of the Sith. That being said, there also wasn't any of the serenity that the Jedi so often sought -- she had been with the Empire for too long to achieve that.

Rather, Kerstas fought with a sense of efficiency, if that could be the right word. She attacked because she had been taught to eradicate the Jedi, that the normal rules did not apply to them because they were the ancient enemies of the Sith, and would do the same to her. She fought because that was what Sith did, when confronted by a Jedi.

That, and if she didn't fight she might very well die. If not now, then later.

Thus, she fought.

Take these soldiers and go North, towards the Training Center. I will be heading to the healer's enclave. We will meet again when every last Jedi is dead. North. Got it. "It will be done" the Acolyte replied firmly. Once more, the Sith were on the offense. The thought of leaving this planet in ruin excited him. May the Force serve us well today. The Togruta nodded, but thought I will serve us well today. He trusted in the Force, or rather, its power, but more so than that, he believed in himself, and his own ability to manifest his own destiny. The outcome of this battle was not something he was comfortable leaving to chance. He would deal with it personally, and when he succeeded, he'd give thanks to himself, not the Force.

Tanek took his small company of soldiers given to him by Sage and set off. He would see to it that they were used to cause maximum amount of damage to the Academy. That being said, more than results, he sought to test himself. If he squared off with any Jedi, they were given strict instructions not to interfere. They had their orders. Anyone he wasn't duelling was fair game. A selected few were equipped with rocket launchers. Their purpose was to bring the whole place down, hopefully upon a few unsuspecting Jedi.

Ruusan... He knew this place. He had never been here himself, but he had studied it from the library of Darth Vornskr. This was where the Great Purge of Kaan's misguided Dark Brotherhood had taken place. Tanek wondered, did their souls still linger here, after the Thought Bomb had claimed the lives and spirits of every Force user unfortunate enough to be within its reach? He did not know what had become of them since then. He would love to investigate this planet further. Alas, this was no invasion, but a hit and run. It was a shame.

Ruusan had once more become a battlefield between Sith and Jedi. He could feel it already. Death. Sorrow. Fear. He had taken too long to reflect, too caught up in his own thoughts. He wasn't sure how it had happened, he was supposed to be among the first to strike, but a slow march towards the North of the Academy and a slight miscalculation in terms of distance had him lag behind. Frustrated, he immediately gave the command for a quick march. The small Sith company led by the Acolyte double-timed.

Ahead of him he saw a lightsaber, at one of the Ruusan Academy entrances, conveniently pointing out Tanek's destination. Tanek unclipped his own lightsaber, but didn't ignite it yet. It was time to put his training to good use. "Take your troops in through there. Place your explosives. I'll take care of this one. You know what to do." He started walking towards her, seeking to occupy her focus and allow his small company to bypass her.

War had once more come to Ruusan. There was so much going on at once, the Academy descended into chaos. The Masters tried to project an aura of calm, but Zylah felt there was much fear here. Some were assured by the stoic Jedi, but there were still doubts. What would become of this place would be decided by the outcome of these battles. Zylah would not abandon the Academy and its denizens to themselves. Think of the younglings...

Having recovered from her near-breakdown, Zylah moved into a jog, eager to raise her blade among the others in defence of Light. No matter how hopeless the situation appeared, darkness had to be confronted. Though just a Padawan, she would not stand idly by and see the world claimed by darkness. Could she make a difference? Only the Force knew.

Zylah had made her way out into the open. Where did one start in such a place? How did she decided who needed her help the most, or who she ought to confront? As she stood, scanning the surrounding area, an answer came. Come little Jedi, Amidst the chaos, there was a voice. Come to me…come meet the fallen angel. Instinctively she unclipped the lightsaber hilt from her belt. She didn't yet see her, but she thought she felt her. Doubt removed itself from her mind and it became clear what she had to do. Zylah ran towards the source of the voice. The two girls were drawn to each other. When the day was over, who would be left standing?

Well, you have to give the kid credit. He's got spunk! And a nice set of legs on him too! Look at the hop!

As Micah flipped over him, calling his lightsaber and deflecting Viktor's blade with his own, Viktor couldn't help but feel slightly impressed. Kid's got some fight in him. Before he had enough time to fully turn around and pursue the peanut butter faced Jedi, Force propelled debris collided into Viktor's back. With barley enough time to switch off his lightsaber, Viktor was knocked off his feet and face first into the wall.

Everythings a little... funnkkyy.... I was going to say blurry. How do you know it's blurry, technically you don't have eyes. Well you don't have a mouth, doesn't stop you from talking. I dont feel so good...

Viktor rose to his feet as quickly as he could, bracing the wall for support. After blinking several times to regain his focus he opened his eyes to a swirling pink lightsaber as it traveled down the hallway toward [member="Warok the Defiler"]'s zombie vines. Turning his attention to [member="Vengeance"] he pointed at [member="Micah Talith"] who was now charging at the Ewok and said, "Stop the boy!" He now turned his focus onto [member="Aela Talith"] who had just seemingly thrown away her lightsaber. "The girl is mine."

Igniting his lightsaber Viktor began to run at [member="Aela Talith"]. Extending his left hand he reached out with the Force and ripped at her, attempting to pull her forward and off balance. Once he was close enough he would feint a downward strike with lightsaber, purposely missing and using the rotating momentum to turn his body and deliver a roundhouse kick to the Jedi.

Objective: Deal with the crazy guy with fire, and I suppose stop him from burning everything down even if rebuilding is in the future.

"You really are quite flamboyant, aren't you Hakora?" Taeli said, walking slowly down the hallway towards the . . . she actually wasn't sure. Hakora always seemed to be moving from group to group, sorta like Solan in a way. "Fire and wind, honestly, could you be any flashier? There is no need to harm anyone else, I'm here and you're here."

Her hand-guarded lightsaber moved into her right hand, the purple blade igniting as she put her left hand behind her back and angled herself to present a smaller profile for him to attack. She highly doubted that Hakora knew what her skill set was or even the fun things her lightsaber could do, Alex had never really talked about her brother much.

"You wanted me Hakora, come and get me," she said, her voice completely neutral, not moving from her spot.

Valdra smirked as his prize arrived quite promptly, he reached a single hand into his trench coat pocket. " Flamboyant you say?" He removed his hand and tossed confetti into the air, "You don't know the half of it. I have no intentions on killing people, simply to draw you out." He pulled out one of his lightsabers, "Now, here I thought you were a Master, but you still give too much away. The duelest form, Makashi, your stance is to make the target smaller, a dueler stance, perfect for reaper users."

Darth Valdra, formerly Hakora Feanor, mimicked her stance and then flourished his blade ending in a Makashi salute. "I am here to return you to the Sith, but I much rather use you to send a message to your sister." Valdra moved his blade from the Makashi salute and pointed the blade at her with his arm fully extended and parallel to the ground. He placed his weight slowly onto his right, forward foot and smirked once more before he vanished using flash step. He reappeared slightly in the air rotating in a 360 formation as he slashed for her chest with his blade. He landed with his back to her quickly keeping the spin and drawing his second blade for a shadow strike to the same spot, both easy to block with Makashi.

"Or I'm just confident in what I know," Taeli said simply, her lightsaber flicking up to mirror the salute. "But you can certainly try to return me to the Sith. I wouldn't recommend this path though, your sister would be quite annoyed with you I would imagine."

The duel began as he flashed stepped away to reappear in the air with a spin attack. Again with the flamboyant attacks, she thought to herself, as she easily blocked the first attack and retreated back a few steps to avoid the follow through shadow strike. Then again, who was she to say anything about too much flamboyance, considering what her weapon could do.

He had his back to her, but she was perfectly content to stay on the defensive for now. Information would be key though, information on your opponent was always important. She would be at the advantage there though as Hakora didn't know anything about her beyond she was a Makashi user . . . when wielding one blade.
