"Something like that. This holocron should shed more light on just what it is I can do." There was a pause as he went so far as to suggest that being her enemy would be a scary thing. Perhaps she did have reason to hold some sense of confidence within herself. The duo would make their way back to the ship pretty quickly. With the holocron gone and the creature removed, more of the wildlife came back. Insects. She frowned a bit as she felt one such bite on her arm.

"We'll head back to Sith space. Was there a place you wanted me to drop you off at or..?"

Eskk felt the pressure lift from his body. He could move freely again for the briefest moment. Suddenly the lightsaber that he had stolen from Loreena Arenais and corrupted became very heavy. Eskk managed to hold onto the weapon, but he wouldnt be able to fight with it. It dragged behind him burning into the ground.

His kick connected with the Jedi's body. He had been about to follow up with another attack when the Jedi leaped backwards and stood atop a bent up huttball hoop. As the Jedi did this he deactivated his saber. Eskk felt the pressure on his saber ease up.

In the instant that the pressure eased up Eskk threw the saber, using the force to guide it. It was not aimed for the Jedi himself, but rather for the base of the huttball hoop. It would sever the base and the huttball hoop would begin to topple over just as Eskk felt the crushing pressure of the Jedi's force ability.

Even his force enhanced strength was not enough to withstand this pressure. Eskk found himself unable to do anything but drop to one knee as the saber he had thrown returned to his hand. He could still use the force though. He focused on the Jedi and started to choke him again. Eskk wouldnt be able to hold the force choke long, but hopefully long enough to end the effect weighing him down.

Kahlil's eyes were closed. The Force. That's what he focused on. Let himself feel around him. He opened his very being to the will of the Living Force, becoming it's conduit. It's channeler. Eskk was a perversion of the Dark. The battle in the streets. The locals killing the Eternals. The Eternals killing the locals. It was brought upon by this being. As the hoop fell from below him he stepped off. Calmly letting the Force guide his steps as he made his way back from the ground as the twisted metal he was standing on collapsed below him.

He could feel the pressure forming around him before he actually felt the choke. His brow twitched. He could go without air for a little while, long enough to immobilize his quarry. But the blood. Having his arteries pinched off would render him unconscious in moments. It was a battle of wills. Determination. Who would give first. Kahlil would not surrender. Even as the black behind his eyes slowly filled with spots of white as unconsciousness threatened to take him, he would increase that pressure. Crush his foe into the ground. Rend him immobile.

Stop him from bringing anymore misery like he had today.

Eskk felt the pressure increase even more. He dropped onto both knees and then was forced to place the hand holding his purple lightsaber on the ground. He managed to keep the other saber up.

Eskk poured all of his rage and desire to feed on the Jedi into the force. He squeezed even harder on his throat. He was now using force crush in an attempt to break the Jedi's neck. His head began to hurt, but he maintained focus in spite of the pain.

Soon after, Eskk's nose began to bleed from the exertion. Eskk had no choice but to maintain focus as long as he could. It wouldnt be much longer, but Eskk had to give it everything he had.

As the pair of them walked back to the ship, a part of Alisteri wished that the wildlife would have stayed gone while they were still there. Thankfully he had no skin exposed for the insects to bite, but that didn't stop them from trying to do so. That and they kept landing on the 'eyes' of his mask, like the annoying little creatures that they were.

Thankfully they never stayed long, but it was still frustrating.

"Oh, not anywhere in particular I suppose." He waved his hand nonchalantly. "Just drop me off at the nearest station that's shipping out Legionnaires and I'll find somewhere to go from there."

Try as he might, Kahlil simply couldn't keep consciousness. Everything for him would end up going black. Above him though, his ship would appear. R6, his astomech, had been monitoring his vitals. Had to be. There was too much that still needed to be done. The little droid would drop from the ship and land beside his unconscious body to pick the Jedi up and get him to safety. Or at least, try to.

The pressure finally stopped. Eskk was able to stand and stumble one step forward towards his prize. A freighter appeared over the huttball court and a little astromech droid floated down to the surface attempting to retrieve the Jedi's body.

"No," Eskk wailed at the droid, "it's mine!" Eskk's vision was darkening around the edges. His head pounded ferociously and he bled from the nose profusely.

Eskk staggered forward another step. He reached out and tried to grab the droid in the force. As soon as he tried using the force, however, his eyesight went black and he fell into unconsciousness.

The second Red removed the blaster and detonator, Curtis' lightsaber was in his hand and ready to be ignited. He only stopped because of Lori and LE-03, both of whom made good points. Without putting the blade down, Curtis stared at Red.

"Typical behaviour from a dog of the Eternal Empire. I've already lived under one empire, I know what happens to planets they subjugate... Zakuul cannot suffer that same fate."

Now he waited, for whatever would come next.

” Those committed by the emperor Mr. Voice, the empress has already admitted as a regent before the Galaxy that these were war crimes and they do everything they can to make amends. Why do you want to deceive and deceive us, Mr. Voice?” asked the local ambassador.

Ingrid ignored the Voice, she had been tired of this boring and constant accusation for a very long time, which was also a lie. She has already acknowledged publicly, more than once, that Bakura and Orellon II are the plague spots of the Empire and she will do her best to wash away these stigmas from the reputation of the Empire. This was common knowledge, and not only within the Eternal Empire, but throughout the Galaxy. Unlike Tacitus, the woman was interested in how the Empire was judged in the Galaxy. She was not the Emperor and condemned war crimes as well as genocide.

”Can the Rebellion do just that? Contaminate others and speak mockingly?” he asked again.

She still didn't speak, mainly because Red spoke instead. Until the moment the man's behavior completely changed. She would have been prepared to answer Lori, but Red didn't have the opportunity to do so. She stifled the urge to cut her man’s throat for what he had done. Because it was a problem, it was the Wolfguards who secured their guns and raised them to Red. They weren’t really Wolfguards, just in their gear, they were Ingrid’s men.

”As long as I control the Empire such will not happen. I am not the Emperor! You get three seconds to deactivate that grenade. None of my people will threaten unarmed people or civilians! Never! Under my control, the Eternal Empire will never commit a single war crime again, note this, just like everyone else! Put down your weapons Red, all of them, and hand them over to my people.”

She said in a frosty voice, without emotion. It was not a play, but the truth. Ingrid still didn't care about the Voice, completely ignoring what it was saying. It was like it was not only not following the things of the Galaxy, but it also had no idea what had been going on in the Eternal Empire since the Emperor disappeared. Meanwhile, one of the soldiers set out to escort the civilians out of the room, and if the grenade exploded, they would not hurt or die because of the explosion.

In the meantime, she reached out to the Force, ready, if necessary, to teleport out of here with the grenade so that it would only kill her and no one else if she could not dampen the explosion so much that she would not die in it…

Red listened as the Voice of Abbaji spoke, and then Loreena. Both seemed certain that the Rebels didn't want any hold over the Zakuulian government, but also that the Empire shouldn't interfere with the Zakuulian government, either. "So you're suggesting that we just leave the Zakuulians to their own devices? We were called here to make sure that the government didn't fall to yet another rebellion trying to start a civil war within the government, and put those insurgents into power. You suggest we just ignore this plea, and let them fall once again?" He asked. The Rebels wanted to help the Zakuulians, and yet also they wanted to doom all of Zakuul, as without the Empire's help, Zakuul would fall once again.

He did notice Loreena's bodyguard Curtis reach for his lightsaber, and he was intrigued. This man would make an excellent opponent in combat...

Then, suddenly, Ingrid exploded at him, apparently mad at Red.

Red looked at her. Everything was going perfectly. In her fit of rage, she had shown to the Zakuulian government that she was in command, that she held the power, and that she would not tolerate actions of these kind. Perfect, her reaction was exactly what he had wanted. Now, the Zakuulians government would see how Ingrid is. Looking at her, his face turned away from the Zakuul delegation and the Rebels, she would be able to see the look on his face, one of appraisal, as she had reacted perfectly to his actions to show the delegation exactly how Ingrid ran her Empire. "Empress, I'm not threatening, I'm just making a point." He told her. He stared at her for half a second, then shrugged. "Alright, whatever you say." Then, he deactivated the detonator, the explosive powering down.

Then, she told him to put down all of his weapons, and he blinked. "All of them?" He asked. Then, he sighed. "Yes, Empress." He said as he gave in. There was no use in trying to argue with her, she had made up her mind.

Then, grumbling, Red started laying all of his weapons out on the table. He took off his two blaster pistols, a grenade launcher, and the blaster carbine strapped to his back, and put them on the table. Then, he grabbed his lightsaber, 2 thermal detonators, 2 flashbangs, and a knife, and put them onto the table next to the blasters. Next, he removed a vibroblade strapped to his leg, and pulled out another knife hidden within a slot in his armor. Then, on his gauntlets, he removed a canister from each gauntlet, the small canisters filled with fuel for the flamethrowers built in. Then, he removed the gauntlets, as there were plenty more weapons stored within them that couldn't be removed.

Next, Red turned to Pitt. "You too, Pitt." He said.

Pitt sighed, then walked over to Red's pile of weapons, and deposited a small shock-prod onto the pile. Red turned back to Ingrid. "There, satisfied?" He asked, really wishing he had his weapons.

"Sir, my words are neither contamination, nor mockery. Merely an opinion, based on the observation of multiple data points, that the Empire has a pattern of disregarding the wishes of worlds outside their purview. At this time, there is no reason to believe that this pattern will not extend to you. Every world that has had the pleasure of the Imperial eye has either been assimilated and used for their resources, or burned then gutted for resources. While the Madame Empress claims to disavow such actions, she cannot deny her involvement in them in the past. In truth, the Empire offers no benefit to worlds that serve no purpose to them, which tells me that there is something on this world the Empire wants."

The voice on the comlink remained even and smooth, despite the rage of the Empress.

"Another point: The existence of the Eternal Truth rather robs the Empress' promises of future nobility of their weight. Can you really trust a force that cannot maintain a consistent ideology, to the point that a transition of power results in bloody civil conflict? That cannot retain control even within those who stay loyal? I would argue that their eye being on you means that war on this world is inevitable. There is blood running on your streets even as we speak here, delegates. The only choice to be made is whether you side with yourselves, or with those who wish to subjugate you."

The room went dead silent for a moment as the delegates pondered. Then, one of them turned to the Empress.

"It is...difficult to ignore these allegations, Lady L'lerim. The Holonet reports on your conquests are public knowledge, as was your close relationship to your predecessor. If you truly wish for our well-being, why not simply offer protection without requiring a hand in our affairs, as others have done? And why bring someone in your party who is so ready to threaten us, if your presence here is in as good a faith as you claim?"

Lori sat stiff in her chair, watching the goings on and listening to everyone make their points. She studied Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim as she spoke and wanted to believe her. But the fact that herself and her family were being blamed for the Emperor's death wasn't a good move. Of course it was good strategy on the Empire's part, but it did little but show Lori that the Empire would do anything to accomplish their goals.

"I was invited here. Not as a Rebel but as what my former position was while my Mom had ruled over Zakuul. It was all to discuss Zakuul's future. The Eternal Empire was invited here as well, with neither of us knowing that the other would be present. So why is that? Was it just to see us fight? Was it some kind of trap? Whatever it is, I don't think that there's going to be any winners. Once your decisions have been made, then I shall go upstairs and pack up mine and my mother's things. If you need or want my support than you'll have it. But if not, I would hope that diplomatic immunity will remain until we are safely outside of the system." There was something not right about all of this. It was as though it was a set up and Lori didn't like that.
