Iron & Silver Treaty [Iron Empire & Order of The Silver Jedi]

Order of the Silver Jedi: [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] | [member="Coci Heavenshield"] | [member="Serenna"] | [member="Catherine Soja"] | Sorel Crieff | @D'in Ss'ikoo

Rianna looked at the group assembled she immediately senses a bit of displeasure her brown eyes looked about quickly then settled on [member="Bato Golden"] she did not know why he felt a bit of displeasure but she sensed no danger. Matter of fact she sensed no danger in the room.

She felt the need to smile, perhaps she should not in such serious matters but something inside just made her wish to promote good will. "Pleasure to meet all of you." Rianna met the gaze of each member around the table. "I am Rianna Organa" An easy opening no frills no titles just who she was. She did not expect question of what she was, she was a healer, a trained Jedi and that was who she was here as.

She sat down folding her hands before her on the table. Let the meetings begin.

Make the doors upon a woman's wit and it will out at the casement; shut that and 'twill out at the key-hole; stop that, 'twill fly with the smoke out at the chimney.
~ William Shakespeare

While Sorel thought upon that of science, Theo thought upon words of a bard of old. There is a mischievous side to the young woman most do not see, but he had had pleasure of it, and in situation most dire when such relief is most welcome. Although this occasion is different, a sense of ceremony there may be, but for the most part it could be a cause for celebration.

The pair entered the room, to be greeted by a sea of faces, all eager to meet those they had not and it did not escape his attention that a young lady looked their way seeking his companion on his arm.

“I will share with you the reason of my presence here, over lunch before you leave to return to Voss”, he said as he leaned close to her and spoke the words only she would hear. Before she could answer, he took her hand unlinking them to allow Sorel to take her leave and find her place among those at the table. “I do believe someone is eager for your company, almost as much as I am”. With those as his last word to Sorel, he bowed to her before turning to take up position toward the back of the room to wait and listen to the outcome of the talks, and found himself near Bato.

She noted [member="Bato Golden"] and his sulky feelings. He'd introduced himself she recognized him somewhat from films but had kept mostly quiet herself. "Don't feel so bothered most of us here are ignored. It offers us the chance to observe less noticed. The EMperor and others will focus on the masters not realizing how much that title is viewed differently in the order. They think of it as a strict military style rank. It's not quiet that way. So as they are drown in higher ups we watch. I do recognize you by the way. Liked you're video Mandolrian Vengeance 2." She Smiled.

"Catherine Soja by the way Jedi Knight." With that she let see if he would reply.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?

The scholars continued to advance – one steeped in science, the other the arts. But they had common ground – they were both Jedi.

And she was pleased he would share his reasons for being here. She was unsure if there had been a memo and if there was, she clearly hadn’t read it. And given the profile of his parents, she was sure he was not undercover – not when they both greeted him as Théo. And it would be good to understand more about the government they were about to ally with – or sign a treaty with – or whatever they were here to do. She may not be entirely sure of the reason but she was confident it was a positive one. “Thank you,” she replied, “And I didn’t know we were having lunch. I would have skipped breakfast if I had.” She smiled again as he disengaged himself and she bowed politely to him before heading over to Aster.

Not sure if she should share the fact they knew each other, she simply moved close to the young woman and bowed politely by way of an introduction – allowing her host to dictate how the conversation would begin.

Seranna was looking at all of them and had been waiting silently around them. She stuck around moving over near [member="Sorel Crieff"] and [member="Catherine Soja"] when she raised an eyebrow. "Interesting people them." She said it but was not feeling anything horrible or ill intent for now. Instead she was wanting to let the force guide them and give a chance for everything that they would be able to do here. "I would say trust the force though and talk to my people but I don't see as many. If I dind't trust the judgement of the Grandmaster's children I would think this is suspicious." She mostly said it to them but was flicking her eyes back and forth scanning for more. The appearance of a mandalorian could either bode well for them or be ill fated but another things to try and handle with some understanding and non aggression.

There were a few familiar faces.

[member="Sorel Crieff"] and [member="Catherine Soja"] were both examples of people that he knew he had seen around the Silver Temple of Voss, though he had not had opportunity to have spoken with either previously. [member="Serenna"] was new to him, and because there were so many Chiss here it hadn't immediately registered that she was in the Silver Jedi entourage.

[member="Bato Golden"] was another familiar face. The Beorni rubbed up against the man's leg as the cub made his way through the sea of legs and feet that formed a proverbial forest of humanoid trees through which the small Beorni had to maneuver.

When he finally settled, the cub had laid down on the floor in between where [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and [member="Coci Heavenshield"] were seated at the table. By his estimation, this was the most likely spot in the room where someone would reach down and scratch his ears.

The rest... he really didn't get.

Why did people have to talk about being friends? Why couldn't they just... be friends?

It had not been long since Aster had taken her seat beside her uncle before she was addressed by a member of the Silver Jedi Organization’s party. Aster smiled, grateful for someone to converse with while she searched the unfamiliar faces for a familiar one.

It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Ms Soja,” the teenager rose from her seat to greet the woman. “I’m Aster Rose Baelor, niece of the Emperor,” she gestured at the man with a scarred visage beside her, her tone formal as she spoke.

A look of recognition appeared on the blonde’s face when she noticed [member="Sorel Crieff"] headed in her direction, greeting Aster with a polite bow. “I’m pleased to see that you are a member of the Silver Jedi’s diplomatic party, Ms Crieff. I hope your journey was a pleasant one,” she said and returned the Jedi’s bow a lacking her usual grace. The teenager had a tendency to be somewhat rigid in her actions while in the presence of her uncle. Those with authority over her intimidated her.

I’m sure you already know, but this man beside me is my uncle – Emperor [member="Isamu Baelor"],” she gestured at the man who seemed to be in conversation with the heads of the Silver Jedi Order.

[member="Catherine Soja"]

New planet!

Well, not, like new planet. Csilla was like majorly old. Pretty much all planets were though. But it was a planet he'd never been to before, and when you were seventy or nine hundred or however old he was now, there were fewer and fewer places you went where you hadn't been before.

As the official delegation departed the Silver Jedi ship and made its way into the Csillia Cultural Center for Boring Adult TalkTM, the vessel's pilot came down the ramp with a flourish. Getting a running start off the sloping gangplank, the tow-headed child leapt off the base and then slid across the landing pad as his feet skidded across the ice. During which, he floundered about with his butt stuck out and his arms flailing in an attempt to achieve balance whilst not falling flat on his backside.

And giggling like an idiot. Because it wasn't far from the truth.

He wasn't here for diplomacy and he damn sure wasn't about to get stuck at the adult table. He was here for some answers.

What kind of toys did Chiss kids play with?

Did they have arcades? What kind of games did they have? Did they have any he hadn't played?

Had they built a better sled for snow sledding?

These were very, very important questions that he... er, that is, the kids of the greater interstellar community... wanted to know. Plus when [member="Coci Heavenshield"] had found out that it had been his Force Ball that had broken the window in her office, he'd been told that he had to prepare a report about Chiss for the temple younglings.

He'd filed a complaint with the First Committee for Inalienable Human Rights, requesting an injunction on that order based on the use of child labor, indentured servitude, and nobody had time for that... but so far they hadn't gotten back to him on that. Clearly, the issue of unpaid child workers exploited by the SIlver Jedi was a significant issue, yet one that the committee refused to acknowledge.

When he got back to Voss, he was definitely organizing a protest to bring greater attention to the atrocity against human rights that was chores, bedtime, and homework.

Suffice to say, with [member="Zak Dymo"] having grown up, [member="Nyt Rito"]'s rival for the title of Padawan Menace was slightly overqualified for the position.

But first... he was going to find a bathroom.

...preferably at whatever passed as a fast food restaurant with kid's meals here on Csilla.

Zeradias Mant

Democracy Dies in Darkness
Their Silver Jedi guests had arrived, a slew of faces entering the grand hall. Some were familiar, such as that of the actor Bato Golden and Warden Viktor Alexander. Others, not so much, but that was about to change. As the numerous Jedi began acquainting themselves with their Iron hosts, Zeradias remained seated. Veers leaned over to jest of the party starting, but Zeradias half dismissed the man, not out of ignorance or disrespect, but rather due to his focus on their guests. His icy gaze shifted around the room, looking at the faces of each member of the Silver Jedi delegation.

He presumed the gigantic man spearheading the delegation upon entry would be the one in charge of things. The woman beside him joined him in directly greeting the emperor. The niece of the emperor seemed eager to socialize as well, and he was glad to see that some of the Jedi were happy to oblige her.

Standing from his seat to the right of the emperor, he cleared his throat. Speaking in his normal, almost quiet voice, he called the room to order so they might begin their business. When Zeradias spoke, silence often followed.

"Ladies and gentleman of the Silver Jedi, welcome to Csaplar and the House Palace. I am Rear Admiral Zeradias Mant.", he began, introducing himself as to avoid any mystery in his role later on. "Please take your seats. We will begin very shortly."

Isamu Baelor

Protector of The Iron Realm
So this is Grandmaster Thurion Heavenshield. Isamu mused. Though they had fought under opposing banners, the Full Metal Emperor had never truly laid eyes upon the leader of the Silver Jedi. However, he was well-versed in the Jedi’s reputation.

Despised by the Sith, many had yearned to take the Grandmaster’s head. A trophy, to proudly laud over their despicable kin. Many had clashed with the Silver Jedi, yet none had claimed their prize. A testament to the strength, of one Thurion Heavenshield.

“Grandmaster Heavenshield. Master Heavenshield.” He offered the two a respectable bow of his head.

The Iron Emperor motioned towards table, inviting his guests to sit.

“You have my gratitude, Grandmaster, for undertaking such a journey.” He said. “Had the current situation differed, it would be us who travelled to meet you.”

Isamu furrowed his brow, his expression solemn. “However, with the lingering threat of the Sith, It would not have been prudent to leave Iron Imperial space.” He admitted.

The Emperor turned his attention from the Grandmaster, to that of Zeradias Mant. “Rear Admiral Mant.” Though few words were spoken, the intent was clear: begin the meeting.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel checked on the verbal and non-verbal clues. Calling her by name suggested that Aster would not be upset if Sorel acted as though they already knew each other – which of course they did. But the formality of the greeting threw her slightly. She was sure she had introduced herself as Sorel, even though the young woman knew her full name. And, when Sorel reflected on their meeting, she actually only knew the young woman’s first name.

“I am pleased to be here, although referring to me as a member of the diplomatic side of things is probably a stretch. I’m here to represent the Silvers and to be helpful when asked, but I doubt I would add anything that could be referred to as diplomatic. I suspect the less I say, the better things will go.”

She lowered her voice. Not to a whisper, more for dramatic effect. “I have a tendency to speak my mind. It seems my filter isn’t precisely missing, but it is on a very low setting.”

“And no, it is no doubt remiss of me, but I was not aware of your relationship to the Emperor. I feel I should be congratulating you or something, but that clearly doesn’t seem right. But it’s not every day you meet the niece of an Emperor. Twice.”

“And to answer your question, my journey was fine. How have you been since we last met?”

[member="Aster Rose Baelor"]

"Is that so?" Aster smiled at the Jedi's words. "In that case, it seems like your input would make for quite an interesting meeting though I'm not sure if my uncle would appreciate it very much," she glanced at her uncle who sat beside her. "He is a quite a stern man."

The blonde chuckled at Sorel's words. "Before the Emperor took me in my life was... horrible. My family fought over who got custody of me for the money my parents had left me. The things they did... to each other, to me was terrible," Aster looked down as she spoke. "Then I... left and was taken in by the Emperor and my life got better so I guess you can congratulate me for that if you wish to congratulate me for something," she said with a bittersweet smile not quite understanding why she confided her past in the Jedi but at least it felt good.

"As for how I've been since we last met, I have been doing quite well. My bruise has healed nicely and the children from the orphanage are doing well too. If you have the time, I think the children will like it very much if you pay them a visit. They have been asking about you." Aster smiled softly as she spoke of the children. Life on Csilla could be rather lonely at times but the children helped ease that loneliness.

"Please sit," the teenager gestured at the seat next to her own. "It looks as if the diplomacy talks will commence soon and they seem awfully boring so I could do with some company."

As she noted the furry little cub go by her legs she smiled some before calls to be seated came. Sitting she let them talk to the grand masters the knight however stared at the generals and Emperor otherwise. It was all politics here. To her the point of her being here was to observe and to watch. Always around such things came the dark side. She was here to be a guard against it for now however she made note to let them talk and to simply remain silent unless somebody spoke to her. She however doubted most would notice her.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
Sorel wore a smile that said she understood perfectly what Aster was saying and what she omitted. And she was pleased that she’d been given the head’s up that the Emperor was stern. It was a common trait – so Sorel was not surprised nor did she consider him in any way less valid as a leader. Stern typically went along with business-like and carrying authority – which were perfectly good traits for a leader.

“Had I known I was coming to celebrate, I would have brought a cake,” said Sorel. “But not bake it, I’m no cook. And it’s interesting to hear about your past. As a Jedi that was identified at a young age, I have no memory of family. I have not seen them since I was three or four and so the whole subject is one I approach from an entirely conceptual position.”

“But it is good that you have arrived at the place you are now and you have the chance to take greater control of your destiny.” Sorel smiled widely at the mention of the orphans. “Once this event has concluded, I would very much like to meet them again. They were a brave set of youngsters and did not deserve what happened to them.”

Sorel had a general awareness that events were coming to a head and took Aster’s lead in sitting formally and awaiting the opening of the talks. Sorel hoped they would be entirely positive. But most of all, she hoped they would be brief.

[member="Aster Rose Baelor"]

With a nod of his head, Thurion moved to pull out Coci's chair for her before taking a seat himself opposite of the Iron Emperor and Rear Admiral. "Thank you, my lord. It's been a long journey, but I believe there is no distance to great to travel if it earns you friendship." With [member="Kiriko"] finding a spot between him and [member="Coci Heavenshield"] on the floor, he reached down to pet the cub's fluffy head with a smile. Taking notice of everyone in the room, from [member="Sorel Crieff"]'s socialising with the young woman related to the Emperor, to his son Théodred lurking in the background alongside another he didn't know, Thurion returned his gaze to meet that of [member="Isamu Baelor"].

"It's quite understandable that you would not wish to leave your home with Sith remnants so prevalent in your neck of the woods, so no need to apologise. As I'm sure the whole galaxy knows by now, the Sith caused quite the ruckus over in the Caldera cluster, wresting control of their ancient homeworlds. Thankfully, Dromund Kaas remains under our protection." By now he had ceased his petting of the Beorni on the floor, and his face grew solemn. "I only wish I had been present on Korriban to stop so many from dying needlessly. To this day, it remains one of my greatest regrets..."

He allowed a moment of silence before moving on to more pressing matters. "But now it seems the Sith are no longer the Order's primary threat. The Mandalorians have hounded us for months now; they hunger for war with seemingly total disregard for reason or logic, attacking us without provocation. I have attempted to reason with [member="Vilaz Munin"] on numerous occasions, but he is not the same man I met years ago. There is a darkness residing within his mind, I am certain of it..." he said and turned to Coci with worry etched on his face.

"My lord Emperor, we must not allow another Jedi-Mandalorian war. Ignoring the tremendous loss of lives in the event of full-scale war, with the Order occupied repelling Mandalorian attacks the Sith would be free to operate unhindered in both Mandalorian as well as Silver-protected space. Right now the Galactic Alliance is being kept busy by the First Order, who from our reports have taken on many remnants of the One Sith. As it is, the galaxy is far from a safe place." By the end of it, he found himself on his feet hunched over the table with both palms against its surface.

"Forgive me, I-uh... I didn't mean to turn it into a speech," he then said while sitting back down, trying to find something for his hands to do.

[member="Zeradias Mant"] | [member="Aster Rose Baelor"] | [member="Catherine Soja"] | [member="Sor-Jan Xantha"] | [member="Rianna Ar'klim-Organa"] | [member="Serenna"] | [member="Vinten Veers"] | [member="Bato Golden"] | [member="Krayzen Dratos"] | [member="Viktor Alexander"]

Aster chuckled politely at Sorel’s joke. “And neither am I,” she smiled and continued to listen as the Jedi spoke.

It must have been difficult for you to be separated from your family as a child. The path of a Jedi seems like a harsh one,” the teenager said thoughtfully. “I guess I’m lucky my force sensitivity wasn’t discovered now and not earlier on the Sith controlled Coruscant.” Aster shuddered at the thought of being forced to join the ranks of the One Sith as a tool to be used in their treacherous plans.

I’m glad to hear that you wish to pay them a visit once the talks are over. I’m sure the children will be very excited,” the blonde beamed at the thought of the children’s smiling faces as the Grandmaster gave his passionate speech which piqued her interest.

"Is it what the Grandmaster said true? Are the Mandalorians really looking to go to war with the Silver Jedi? What happened to provoke this?" Aster asked curiously. Perhaps she was naive, but she did not understand why the Mandalorians would seek to wage war with the Jedi when greater threats lurked in the darkness of the galaxy.

[member="Sorel Crieff"]

Krayzen heard the Rear Admiral begin the meeting, with Isamu also telling him to continue. The Anzati however had not expected [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] to speak about the matter with the Mandalorians so quickly, and share his concerns, especially since they had been former enemies. Perhaps this signified that the meeting would go deeper than that, even though Krayzen had just expected it to just be as simple as a NAP, with some economic benefits to it.

He heard Thurion voice his concerns, as well as Aster state an inquisitive question. "You say the Mandalore has darkness surrounding him." Krayzen said. "Perhaps there is a higher being that is controlling him for his own purposes. The Sith, for instance, or another faction that were are not aware off Master Heavenshield."

"Perhaps an alliance should be established as part of the treaty between our respective governments, considering that we suffer from the plague that is the Sith, and some of your members have assimilated well into our ranks. " The Anzati then looked at Theodred, and glanced back, clearly evidencing who he was referencing.

"Military exercises, intelligence gathering, and so forth can be included in the agreement. I understand we are former enemies Master Jedi, but we must forget about the past, and we must unite ourselves, otherwise our future will be meek." Despite his changes, he had dedicated himself for 200 years to eradicate the light-side. He himself was not a fan of it, but he saw a united front as a better option than a NAP.

He then thought about the Galactic Alliance helping, but he remembered the Galactic Alliance was most likely focusing most of their resources on the First Order, an opponent far better than the One Sith. " He himself believed that the First Order would defeat the Galactic Alliance, and if they did, then the SSJ would be pincered by the Mandalorians, and First Order, although he made sure to keep his thoughts to himself, as this wasn't a military meeting.

[member="Bato Golden"] | [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] | [member="Isamu Baelor"] | [member="Zeradias Mant"] | [member="Krayzen Dratos"] | [member="Viktor Alexander"] | [member="Serenna"] | [member="Sorel Crieff"] | [member="Aster Rose Baelor"] | [member="Daegon Vaelaellis"] | [member="Vinten Veers"] | [member="Kiriko"] | [member="Krayzen Dratos"]

[member="Krayzen Dratos"] caught her attention the moment he spoke. She didint trust him and her face showed it. "Funny so you are saying the Dark side didint make you so powerful you could crush the mandalorians? Lately all that seems commonplace. I guess just hating everything doesint win you wars." There was obvious mistrust in Catherine's eyes. "Also it means you can't use fear like you prefer to. I think I see you're issue if this is what you rely on to win you battles General." She looked to [member="Zeradias Mant"] motioning to the dark Jedi.

He could always count on [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] to find that spot behind his right ear.

His head resting atop his forepaws, the cub closed his eyes as the Grand Master's hand scratched at the Beorni's fur. The white, puffball tail twitched happily as the cub laid there. The hand pulled away, but the small Beorni was too relaxed to have put up a protest, instead sighing contently through his black, button nose.

The conversation above turned to the Mandalorians, and the Sith, and to the darkness in general.

As for the Jedi and the Iron Imperialists, they obviously wanted to be friends... or else no one would have made the trip out to Csilla, or even held out the invite, right? So the cub didn't really get the talk about treaties or exercises or the rest.

They were stronger together than apart.

Plus, it was much more fun to find points of agreement than points of contention. Made conversation a more enjoyable experience. Of course, he was only a bear and not really all that knowledgeable about those things.

Krayzen heard the Jedi Knight voice her distrust to him. It wasn't the first time that something like this had happened, as when he had returned, there were those among the Iron Empire that voiced their distrust to him as well, since he had served in the One Sith Order. Even then however, he knew that his loyalty to General..no, Emperor Baelor was unquestionable, and the Anzat knew that Isamu believed in him, or at least he hoped so.

When she finished speaking, Krayzen's facial expression didn't change. It remained the same at it had been when he had met them at the spaceport, and it would remain the same at this very moment. "There is no doubt that I served the One Sith. Your records should show that." he said, looking at her.

The Anzat had used psychological warfare in his time in the One Sith to reduce the casualties of his own troops, and he didn't regret it. Why? Because his troops were his responsibility, and they had placed their lives on his hands. It was a General's responsibility to take care of his troops, and Krayzen would always try to do so to the best of his ability.

"I regret some of the actions I undertook for the One Sith, but I will not regret using what my forefathers have used, and what my parents taught me. It isn't a surprise to my superiors that I use the dark-side, and I am sure your masters were aware of this, before they arrived. " he said.

Krayzen then cleared his throat, indicating he was about to make his final remarks. "If you wish for me to leave, Thurion and Coci,I will do so but I would like to leave with twofinal statements: firstly, the notion that dark-siders despise everything is a complete fallacy; there are numerous examples of that throughout history, and it is common even among us. Lastly, I really do wish for us to unite together, in the face of common threats, and I apologize from deviating from the conversation." Krayzen said. He then stood up, ready to leave if requested.
