Purpose
HI everyone, I'm just doing a bit of an interest check for an upcoming dominion we are doing to include more people and allow more Imperial factions to take a bit of a spotlight by sending their representatives to it. You'll be able to interact with all the high-ranking EOTL officials and whoever shows up for the party! Spies from other factions are welcome as well to observe and comment on the affairs that are happening since what's a good party without some espionage? Just please no fleets or attempted assassinations etc as that would ruin the vibe of the story.Objective I: Diplomatic Reception and Mingling
Hosted at the exact midway point between the two suns of the Tion system on the Bulwark II Star Destroyer the Pride of Lianna and guarded by a powerful fleet, a diplomatic reception is being held to bolster the Empire’s standing and legitimacy with other Imperial factions and to encourage intermingling amongst the notables of the Empire. Invitations, guarantees of security, and in some cases immunity from prosecution have been handed out to every notable Imperial Remnant faction in anticipation of this. Come mingle and get to know the members of the Empire of the Lost better and help play a role in how your faction is viewed by it for better or for worse or make some connections with your fellow Imperials! There are also opportunities for spies from hostile powers to infiltrate to try to get a scoop on what is happening and for counterintelligence agents to try to deal with them without disrupting the party.
OOC Note: If you do end up in combat or the like and your story goes that way spies, please have it occur outside the main room in a secluded area and be mindful of the setting with tons of Imperial security everywhere!
Objective II: Gladiatorial Games
For those more interested in combat rather than conversation a series of gladiatorial games will be held in the ship’s training rooms. Face off against man or beast and prove yourself among the galaxy’s strongest warriors. Unknown Credits will be rewarded to those who write particularly interesting battles or stories and the winners will have a chance to intermingle at the reception and be acknowledged for their victories later.
Objective III:Space Race
Want to prove yourself a true racer? The Empire is sponsoring a sublight race around the sector. Your course will take you from the starting line at the Pride of Lianna around the twin suns, past the three orbiting moons, across Tion itself, and then finally returning to the Star Destroyer. Prizes will be given out for first, second, and third place and a chance to mingle with the elites of the Empire upon your return.
OOC Note: Roll dice to decide who is in the lead! The race will last until everyone has done five posts and we can tally up the dice count.
