I'm not too particularly good at finding roleplays to be apart of, that's been my main problem wherever I go. However, I do really enjoy roleplaying, so I have a dilemma, that I hope I can get a bit of help with?

The problem is that I've backed myself into a corner playing a Chiss, the whole, xenophobia thing. But if anyone has a way around that or.. is Chiss, then I'd love to see what you have to offer! Plus, if APEX Technologies goes through the factory then that might open some business opportunities as well.

I think amping the business man angle with your company will let you naturally develop relationships ICly that can overcome the xenophobia, all without feeling you have to support a Faction to write your character. Though, there is nothing wrong with any of the possible fits mentioned. Corporate types are always throwing galas, balls, and more to mingle with each other.

Plus, xeniphobia is a fear that has varying degrees and enactments, you don't have to hide and resent everyone all the time

Awesomesauce. I was thinking something along the lines of Arax making an unusually large-size purchase, or the two meet where Dorn decides to invest no small sum of credits on Apex.

Alternatively, they could also run into each other, and the Chiss would get caught up in Arax's running from the Exchange.

[member="Brae"] Xenophobic is perfectly fine. The Ancient Eye is, itself, a pretty xenophobic faction. A feudal, darkside empire inspired by Ancient Egypt, we have a multi-thread storyline launched, which we want to end with an epic climax at some point in the coming months. Also, we could use more fleeters and have some sweet, sweet warships which I'm sure a Chiss admiral would enjoy commanding.
