Ingrid had a vision while meditating and felt bad when she thought of Bursoll II. It was there that she first met the Shadow Born. The Melding Plague was there as well, earning the Knight Warden position with her deeds against the plague. It happened to the woman very, very long ago. Since she had quite a few things to do, she didn’t really deal with it all, however, a few days later one of the Shadow Knights showed up at her home, uninvited that someone had broken into the pyramid.

Ingrid had never used her demons and other such creatures recklessly, so the Knight knew she couldn't go there alone to investigate, so the Shadow Knight reported. And the red-haired woman didn't even let the knight return there. She decided to go there in person. This was not surprising, as Ingrid did most of the things alone, without any escorts or bodyguards. Even though she was an empress, that didn't change. As the woman said, who was once an agent, a spy, an assassin, will remain the same throughout her life.

But it was time to look into that as well. Since she didn’t want to waste hours or more time getting to the planet, she chose the usual method. The Empress opened a rift into the Netherworld and through it first entered the Nether, then opened another rift there to Bursoll II near the ruins of the pyramid.

As always, she wore her necklace, which functioned as an amulet for Taozin, not to mention that Ingrid had always hid her presence in the Force, making it difficult or impossible for others to feel her in the Force. This is how she arrived, where she immediately felt the other's presence. Another neutral aura in the Force. Luckily, the person who was here lit like a torch for the red-haired woman who was also heading in that direction. And they were the torch.

She was in no hurry, so Ingrid was walking at a calm, slow pace, her hands clasped behind her, in military style. However, the woman's footsteps made no sound, death was present in every movement, her movement like that of a predator, a big cat; her blue eyes are ice cold and her gaze is cold, strict, her posture military and stiff. So she arrived at the place where the unknown person was. She stopped at the door, hadn't attacked yet, but spoke almost immediately.

"You are in an Eternal Imperial, state-supervised and protected and guarded area. Give me one reason why I shouldn't arrest you already and put you in jail." she said in an ice-cold voice, without emotion; in her usual voice.

Neryn arrived on the northern field of the planet Bursoll II by a feeling of some kind of encounter that was not clear to her.
Finding herself among huge temples, which with their grandeur and antiquity could shock the mind of an ordinary creature, the girl hid her hands under the black robe with drawings so that she would not be so cold and went to the centre of one of these monuments of time.
There was complete silence around, which was odd for such beautiful monumental structures where creatures with an ascetic lifestyle might normally be found.
Among the giant sculptures and ancient tombs, the girl sat down on the icy floor and assumed a lotus pose to meditate. She tried to become part of the temple to explore the purpose of his stay.
So she sat for about an hour, traveling through time and studying the peoples and cultures that lived and used the temples at that time. This made her own aura increase several times and she could look like a small star
amidst the icy graves.

The silence released all of her emotions, feelings and doubts and the result was a fantastic outburst of energy. Neryn did not seek to prepare for the encounter, but rather to unite with the atmosphere of the place so that she would not immediately be mistaken for an enemy and would not lose her life so easily.
In the end she heard a harsh, sometimes even iron voice announce that the area was part of the Eternal Empire. She was offered the opportunity to give a reason for being here, the girl with her eyes closed and in a completely unarmed state calmly replied.

"Force called me here here to meet you. That is my reason."

Ingrid had always had perfect control over her emotions, so almost no emotion could ever be felt from her. What played a big part in this was that she suppressed all negative emotions as soon as she felt them. She used to be unable to use the Dark Side Force abilities for this reason unless she stole negative energies from others. The Empress was young then, and that has changed since. However, it was not changed, that she was able to master her emotions in a masterful way. That is why she was not able to feel what would have been appropriate in this situation.

And that would have been nothing but contempt and disgust. The girl was nothing more than a pawn. A toy, nothing. Ingrid learned from the Force, according to the teachings of the Wardens of the Shroud, that the Force only uses Force Users as a puppet, which is why she did not like either the Sith or the Jedi. The Force only moved them like puppets in their own game to sustain the eternal war between the Light side and the Dark side.

That is why the woman never obeyed the call of the Force. She was no puppet. She didn't let the Force control her. That’s why she didn’t care when she first had a vision of the place. It didn't even make sense for her to be a puppet. And she was sure that the woman was not an Eternal Imperial citizen, though she could still try it. The Empress had addressed her in a common language last time, but she did not know her. It was quite rare.

<"Then you get five minutes to leave or the soldiers take you, and you'll spend the next few months in jail."> she said in High Nelvaanian in her usual cold and emotionless voice.

If she had been an Eternal Imperial, they would have long since been contacted in secret with her or tried to be recruited into the Psi Corps. Meanwhile, she was still wondering how the woman got in. And why only one Shadow Knight noticed her all.

~ MANIAC, I want the cameras and scanners data about how this person got in here and why no system has indicated this before. ~ of course she had ideas about how this was possible, but she also wanted to know the exact data.

There was no question, no laughter or even a glance in response. The girl got up and walked silently towards the exit, evidently understanding the viewpoint of the person who had come and without much desire decided not to start a conversation, especially since she had probably been spotted before this woman appeared, you could tell by the look on her face. She passed the ancient gate and walked calmly through the snow towards the rented starship without looking back or blaming the force or herself. She liked meeting very different people and each had their own quirks, their own reasons and their own behaviour in one situation or another and according to Neryn this was the main lesson of almost any encounter for her. After all, there was a reason Singing Fire had left her to full autonomy in this situation so that Neryn could show what she had learned from all this time.

At the side of the ship she stopped and glanced around once more to bid farewell to the planet's past and climbed into the ship, where she made tea and drank before she flew so she wouldn't freeze while the engines warmed up and were soon ready to take off, but Neryn was still contemplating the look of force that could be read between the words in the form of a commanding inclination to leave the planet under the jurisdiction of the Eternal Empire.

Ingrid followed her silently as she walked out. She could already feel the soldiers moving outside. The red-haired woman didn't even have to give orders, they knew their stuff. True, they’re a little late, but at least they’re doing their thing. The Empress looked around the room where they were; the Shadow-born once lived here no longer had a trace, nothing left of it. That's why she was alone, and the Shadow Knights were only eight ones. Before Ingrid, there were ten Shadow-borns thousands of years ago who had been changed by the Night Spirit.

Eight died the way it should be and their souls went to the Nether, later the woman summoned them from there and that’s when they became the Shadow Knights. The other two were more interesting; one was trapped here, they caused the Melding Plague, the other on Trenwyth; they were killed by the woman personally in her own mind as the creature tried to possess her body. It was very long ago, both. As she pondered her thoughts, they reached the surface and went outside.

Soldiers were already waiting at the ship, who were trying to arrest the girl. They did their thing, and that included interrogating the girl about why she was here for, and who she is. In the meantime, Ingrid also received the requested data from Maniac.

"I'm sorry, miss, but you can't get on the spaceship, you have to come with us. We need to interrogate to why you are here and why you have entered military territory. Come with us voluntarily, otherwise we will force you." said one of the soldiers in a not very friendly voice.

Ingrid then approached, all the soldiers turned to her at once, their surprise could be felt through the Force. They all saluted the woman at once, clenched fist over their heart, in the manner of the Eternal Imperial military and fleet

<"My Lord!"> they said at once, with respect in their voices.

What might be strange, since the red-haired woman was wearing a uniform without badges, there was no indication of her rank, could easily have been some officer of the lowest rank. She stopped a few metres away, still in a small straddle, with her hands clasped behind her back.

"I would do in your situation what the soldiers said." she said in a still cold, emotionless voice.

Neryn followed the soldiers to their ship without a word, not paying attention to the empress as she was apparently more interested in the importance of the ruins she was visiting and the cultural and historical value they held for the empire. The girl walked slowly, but in general quite freely, which allowed her to carefully study the soldiers and cast a glance at the ship she approached. As she had nothing with her, she kept her hands under her arm so as not to fall from the too low temperatures on the way, soon reaching the ship the girl wondered what the issues and in general what the protocol was for people like her, as she had heard much about the pacifism of one side or the cruelty of the other, so it was strange if she had an averaged version of events in front of her. Neryn quietly raised her head to the sky and with a sigh prepared herself for a very long negotiating session, thus setting her own mind and body up for possible torture if the answers were insufficient or not precise and detailed enough. Neryn was not surprised as how cold woman's voice is, after all she sensed her nature and even wanted to smile for first moment she saw her but then she changed her motif in order to be left alive.

Nearby was an outpost, a building where soldiers were stationed and living, so the girl was led there. Since Naivia was cooperating, no one was using violence, they weren’t rude to her, only the man’s voice was harsher before. If the girl continued to cooperate, she was escorted to an interrogation room inside the building. The building was quite Spartan, but at least it was warm inside. Inside, even the out-of-service soldiers were in armour, no one's face was visible or what species they belonged to.

After the girl was escorted into the empty room, where there was only one table and two chairs, Ingrid was still talking to the leader of the local soldiers outside. No one expected the Empress to arrive, so the soldiers were a little confused. The local commander wasn't really happy about the fact that the red-haired woman wanted to talk to the girl alone, but since she had been ordered to interrogate the prisoner alone, the soldiers could do nothing but obey what the woman told them.

Although they felt decidedly uncomfortable and embarrassed. After all, it is not every day that such a high-ranking visitor comes to them. Mostly not so that they did not even know about it in advance. After the red-haired woman was done with everything, she went into the room where Naivia was. Wordlessly, she sat down in the chair with stiff, military movements in front of the girl. The Empress' gaze was cold and stiff, her emotions perfectly controlled, as if it were a beautifully carved marble statue, only her soul and personality had been made from iron.

"I'm Ingrid L'lerim… let's start at the beginning, who are you and why did you break into a closed, military area? And no, I don’t accept the silly and childish explanation that the Force wanted it." she asked in an ice-cold voice.

"Interesting name... Then I realise that before me sits a rather unconventional figure, I would even say that you are a mixture of ringing metal in the night and simultaneously loud victories and defeats. Of course I will answer your questions, the essence of which is first of all my rational explanation of my deeds through the prism of my personal philosophy and outlook on life.
So, let's start with me, I am basically a organism made out of meat, skin and bones. Having been born into the Naivia family on Brentaal IV, after being forcibly removed from my family memories, I have trained in the science of killing and worked for various guilds and secret ministries, enforcing one order or another in order to survive in my new world. And now I am the keeper of the force and ancient knowledge that my friend tells me. It may sound surprising, but I'm glad it was the ruins and the closed territory that turned out to be the point of my quest to believe in finding anything unusual here, as I am a proponent of adventurous travel. On my part, this is all I can provide at the moment. I have no weapons on me, no food, no money, no possible connections, knowledge of various languages is there, clothes for a couple of weeks is there, eating is not yet, drinking is fine with me. "

Neryn changed her voice rather quickly, a note of icy wind and companions that were symbols of her early adulthood and destiny awakened in it. The fiery gaze now looked even less interested in the empress than before, though her whole body was completely relaxed.
