Just A Toy

Most will find that Hypori has a colorful background if history tells the story correctly. From epic battles to dark side training grounds, and even secret foundries, there seems to be nothing that hasn’t touched this world. It was once part of the CIS, long ago, and it has been decided that with the withdrawal of the Imperial presence it is time for the temperate world to return to the fold. The Confederacy is ever expanding and would rather claim the space versus allowing other unsavory parties to sink their claws into it. There has been chatter intercepted from the Hutt Cartel over a vested interest and the Vicelord has directed his administration to sweep in before they get the chance to make their move.
The Exarchs and the Ministers have sent several correspondences back and forth with Hypori leadership and have finally reached an agreeable consensus. There is a hodge-podge population of both near-human descendants, immigrants, clones that were stationed and abandoned, as well as the remains of a small relocated Geonosian hive. It has led to a very diverse, however somewhat difficult way of life. There is ongoing tension between the insectoid creatures and the rest of the populace but they seem to have formed a way to coexist by simply staying out of one another’s way.
There is a singular insectoid delegate, a highly unpleasant creature by the name of Gaza Dellso, who speaks on behalf of the hive. Whilst it was traditional to form a proper-hive mound the tough bedrock of Hypori has kept them from doing so. Instead, they live in catacombs and often apply their skills and trade in both underground facilities and foundries that exist topside.
The voice of the people that live above ground is Zara Bek. They have small industrial cities near the oceans that have seen better days, especially, since the only have one droid factory in working order. The rest have all been decommissioned due to a lack of need. Taking in contracts to supply droids for war efforts was their main export, and without a nation that requires it, they find their proud community slowly falling apart. They are in desperate need of a morale boost and must have guaranteed work.
The Confederacy has secured the acquisition of Hypori with both groups by offering paying contracts that will restart their economy. The CIS will also retrofit the decommissioned droid factories to help get them running again. They will be supplied with new materials and innovative schematics until their scientists and engineers are able to begin producing on their own. The more talented Geonosians will be recruited for their superb mechanical and technical skills—in which all parties are appeased.
Zara Bek has asked for only one more thing. Localized terraforming equipment to soften and enrich the soil so that the growth of organic food can be more accessible. Hypori does not look for charity. More than anything they have simply requested the proper tools needed so that they can thrive. If their production skyrockets, they can offer their services to private parties so that their bottom line is always favorable.
With this in mind, Zara Bek has reached out to their new benefactor as well as the people of Hypori to remind them that they are not yet gone. Hypori still exists and it intends to thrive.

Note: All CIS, CIS Allies, friends, and family are welcome.
