Felix sat in the assembly area of the ship that approached Kamino in hyperspace, arms folded wearing the attire of a Sith Assassin that had been acquired from the battlefield he had been apart of before the fall of the Sith Empire. He'd found over his travels that trinkets like these were useful, and usually easy enough to come by if you knew where to look, thankfully assassins in armour and clothing that bent light weren't typically an issue for the Rylothian to detect, however, it seemed that the involved parties had accumulated the parts of the plant that were required in order to get into the doors of this place. Felix was here to identify the goods, and be muscle if they needed someone fast enough, he'd even brought one of the Relics at his house that had been taken by one of his forebears, a strange collapsible stun rod which almost felt as though it was alive. But he'd seen the stunning effect it had on people, his twin had particularly enjoyed its use once.

Looking over the Rugged humanitarians that through Mishel they had managed to accumulate, the mission parameters would have been shared with them in advance. Felix wasn't a master thief, he was hoping that each of these people would be able to take the lead with him providing support if they needed it. But for now, he would stand, so much had been talked about when it came to the mission, hypotheticals, what ifs, and maybes. The boy's head was veritably spinning with the information he had attempted to absorb leading up to this clandestine encounter. So, looking to the group he would ask;

"If we don't mind, could we go over the concrete plan one last time? Just so that we're all on the same page?" He would bring up a projected Image of Kamino, although he was not a member of the CAF, several of his employed members of the House Aquila PMC had been, between what he knew, and what they knew, they were able to confirm at least a couple of the surface level assets of cloning behemoths military base. "The planet is typically closed off, full planetary shield controlled with a solitary shield gate. Droids, scanners, the lot. We dont get through that gate without an invitation or clearance from high ranking CAF. Once we get to the facility we're looking for, which admittedly is one of the smaller ones, there is going to be security at most entrances, probably clone in nature. Cameras and internal scanners are a certainty as well as security doors and finally the mainframe panel we need to access. What's the plan?"

His eyes would rest upon the key members of the group and reason for their input, he had paid an exorbitant amount of money for the group of them to be here and to undertake the job, as well as offering Mishel a favor, not something he engaged in often. But as their acquired CAF ship made its way for the gates which they'd be arriving within the next 20mins, Felix could begin feeling the nervous energy of the looming mission creep up his spine. There was something that was going to go terribly wrong on this mission, and he was going to need to use every skill at his disposal to ensure it didn't.

Else they were all dead...

Cass Gemini sat in the makeshift briefing aread listening to Felix talk, the man seemed to like to talk, but if he was talking cash, then Cass liked to listen. Cass was flanked by two of her trusted crew mates, Delta Kanus, the computer wizard. And Dryhan Sanberge, her brutal mawite ally, who had grabbed himself a Siren's Wail to add to his kit.

As he finished speaking and asking the plan Cass spoke up.

"So, I am Cass Gemini, I am a naval, Wealth redistribution operative," and she grinned and Dex for that one. "My girl her is Delta, she is a cyber security wizard and can help us with that, if anyone wants to share notes with her, she is very friendly." She then pointed at the quiet Amonid sat to her other side.

"This lovely man is Dryshan, he wouldn't let me go on a mission like this without the chance for a fight himself. Dex brings the brains, Drysh brings the muscles," she got side tracked and looked at both her crewmates "hey, you two should totally hook up" they looked at each other then glared at her with a look of disgust that only her most trusted could get away with.

She laughed and returned her attention to Felix, "so me, I bring the looks, obviously, and also years of experience at this kind of stuff."

From his description her fighter would likely stay parked firmly aboard the ship, but it was ready to go if needed, she supposed I would make an excellent extraction tool if needed in an emergency.

"Clones?" Kyros scoffed, "Once you figure out one, the rest are easy."

Dangerous eyes leered at them from under the duros smuggler's wide brimmed hat. He reclined upon a stack of crates piled in one corner. Lazy twirls sent the heavy blaster in Sly's hand spinning back and forth. His frontier drawl betrayed rustic origins. Moon dust on his boots hinted at a life well traveled. There was a second big iron on his hip and almost certainly a blade concealed somewhere beneath rugged spacer leathers.

"Never met a lock I can't slice," lips curled into a fiendish smirk, "If y'all can forge the proper landing clearance and handle surveillance, I'll get us where we need to go."

Sly didn't seem spooked by the masked Sith assassin. Evidently he was confident in his own abilities as a hired gun. Credits motivated the smuggler far more than any humanitarian interests. Captain Kyros expected to be well paid for this job. Living with a death mark wasn't easy. Pirates like Gemini and her crew seemed untrustworthy but he wasn't carrying any cargo for them to boost. Mishel he knew by reputation, so the rumors she carried a lightsaber were true after all.

"Once their sensor net is down we can swim right in, bypass most of the security checkpoints."

Mishel sat in the back of the transport as Felix and the others spoke. She wore the usual garb, Corellian flight pants, blaster vest, and jacket flipped as if she were some hotshot pilot and maybe in a past life she had been. Today, however; Mishel was set on helping Felix acquire something from Kamino. Something that wasn't necessarily for sale, and what Felix was going over definitely sounded like a lot. "How you lot get to where this thing is and grab it, is up to you. I can get you in the door," she told them plainly moving away from the back of the transport and stepping into the light of the transport. Lightsaber hilt swung softly as she moved forward, the metal glinted in the light. "I happen to have some documents that I grabbed from my sister's desk at home, threw her signature on there for good measure. I can raise enough of a stink at the front to distract them."

Others among the group had their own skills, this one was hers.

"Officially, I'm here looking into materials from Kamino that I could use for my research but something's going to get messed up in the process. Whereby yours truly will get to pull the do you know who my sister is card," she elaborated a little more on her plan. A look toward Cass and her team and Mishel was reminded as to why she stayed away from that side of the law. She noted Sly's fiendish smirk and hoped he could put the credits where his smirk was or Force help them all. It was one thing to stick her neck out on the line it was another entirely to use her sister's name in this manner, and it wasn't a conversation she was looking forward to having with Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed .

The galaxy was definitely changing. Knowing where she belonged was different than it ever had been. The Alliance could use her, so could the Concord. However, with her re-awakening, there came a need to move along her own path, or at least follow the lead of others and do the greatest good she could. But if an outside observer saw her now, they wouldn't exactly see someone who was looking to help others. She wore black padded armor, clearly a war prize off of a fallen Sith combatant. She carried her stun batons still, not ready to carry a lightsaber, even if it was to complete the look.

She was an agent by training and necessity, and that meant she could translate those skills over to a more or less unsavory path, if she needed.

"My skills have been lock breaking, terminal slicing, and forging up to a degree… I've been good at making you think you haven't been robbed, leaving a computer worm in the system that's posing as an all-clear until we are, in fact, clear of the system."
The blonde smiled. Her hair was going to have to go up under a hood soon, she felt Sith weren't really blonde…

Looking over at the Duros, the Brubreen hybrid nodded. "I can modify some of my stolen landing codes." She had a datapad that she called her 'hot pad' that could slice most systems, when she wanted it to. "And well, I can do the water bit too." Naturally.

Yet another mission he had let himself be pulled into because he couldn't give two chit's about governments or what they claimed to stand for, he was only loyal to those whom he was close with. It was true that he had those within the Confederacy whom he was close to that would be less than thrilled with his choice to undertake this particular op, but all he was doing was opening the door and providing a way out. Other than that he wasn't involved. Hell, even the ship's transponder had a false model attached to it leading to a very long trail of records that would lead only back to Qeravit IV. Or was it Qeravert IV? Whatever.

He capped the flask and placed it back in the inner pocket of his flight jacket before sending a ping to Mishel Kryze to let her know he had arrived. Granted that would not be hard to tell from the transport should the others look out the window, the glint of a polished chromium hull would be visible off to starboard, slowing to match its speed with that of the transport. At first glance one could be forgiven thinking it was a diplomatic vessel, but as the two ships drew nearer it was clear there was armament, even if it was currently powered down showing a non-aggressive stance.

A few moments later and a secure comms channel would be opened between the two ships, a small holo of the pilot showing up near the projection they were using for planning. Certainly he didn't look like anyone special, dressed in black slacks with first class bloodstripes, a light grey t-shirt, faded squadron jacket, combat boots, and what looked to be a TIE inspired flight helmet.

"Greetings noble, piratical spacers, I apologize for showing up a bit late my ship gave me a bit of trouble with the engines before I made the jump. A bit of percussive maintenance did the trick. You are likely wondering who I am and why I am here. I am Kurayami Bloodborn, Captain within the Starfighter Corps of the CIS formerly. I left the rank behind, but ended up better off for it as I made friends in even higher places while working for them off the books. I am here simply to get you in the door and provide transport out if need be...on the last point do try to make it seem as though you snuck on the ship though, I can't look like this is something I willingly took part in. This is a favor to an old friend, I'm not here for the money. Once the gate is open to allow my ship through you will have only a small window for your vessel to slip through as well. Best of luck you crazy, glorious, nerfherders. Oh and if we all make it back in one piece? Drinks on me. Bloodborn out.

With that he cut the comm, and pulled slightly ahead of the other ship, preparing to make the jump into the Kamino system and get out as soon as they could. Hopefully.

Kamino has never been a welcoming world, be it the reclusive Kaminoan species who preferred to work in solitude or the planet itself. Kamino was known for its storms certainly, but it did have its rare calm moments between the storm seasons. That rare calm was taking place on it at that moment, a setting sun on the horizon bathed the waters and the nearby cities in an orange glow, while at some of the civilian cities around the capital surely the people were enjoying the calm but in Tipoca, it was as always business as usual.

Tipoca City was the planet's heart being the seat of government and its cloning facilities. That much had not changed in the nearly thousand years since the Republic had requested their services. Today though Kamino was more of a research and development hub, while true they did still use their cloning abilities for the Confederacy it was on a much smaller scale than one might think. The number of clones was only about a million total, most of those were reserved for the defense of Kamino, the rest would serve on board the Kaminoan Home Fleet.

The home fleet was by very definition presently at home, for a short duration, it had been forward deployed to contend with the Agent Wars their forces had deployed to great effect at Talay but in the aftermath, it had returned home. Although the immediate crisis had ended after Talay Kamino had never stood down from its alert posture and the world remained closed to all non-military personnel. The planet's defenses had been strengthened in that time, a shield gate protected the planet from unauthorized access. An orbital station had been constructed to manage inbound traffic before it ever made it to the shield gate all this under the watchful eye of the home fleet.

It was this myriad of security measures that CG-55118 oversaw from the operations center on Kamino. It was he that would ensure the security of Kamino and deal with any threats to the planet. These were not the clones based on the old Fett template, the actual donor for these clones was a highly classified secret, but their equipment was not. Kamino had contracted out to two different contractors. One to Freebirds Industries for their force nullifying armor and the other to Strill Securities for arms and training, making full use of class-d disruptors for the clone arsenal.

To say the security of Kamino was impenetrable would be inaccurate, but to underestimate it could prove deadly.

Sorry for the delay ya'll I have been traveling for work. I will be posting as this character for the thread so please tag it rather than Taiia. This is largely just setting the tone of how serious the security of Kamino is. It has been this way since Ryloth, just wanted you all to see what you are up against. Have fun!

It seemed like they had the workings of a Solid plan, writings from a Minister of Commerce as well as an escort from someone who had been high up in the CAF, someone who had ties, connections and report with officers, generals and more. They might require some convincing but with Forged CAF landing codes which, checked over by the group of them had passed their experienced tests of legitimacy, the hardest part of getting in the door seemed covered. Though Felix could not help but think that while they had myriad experts on board, if they had to fight the CAF army on the way in or out... this wasn't going to go as well.

When on the ground Felix's Illusions could Obfuscate or disguise them, but they were limited in use. Although he was a master, he couldn't keep an illusion clinging to a group of half a dozen people semi permanent for hours on end, while appearing invisible to cameras down hallways... He was going to need to be tactical. Though, he knew that if he was found out to be behind an attempt like this, he was probably going to get a little more than raked over the coals. But it was necessary.

Unfortunately, having never been able to meet with the fabled John Locke and propose his offer, the young Aquila never did manage to gain the political clout he'd hoped to gain as the Exarchs' hand. Not becoming his hand meant that when he had attempted to get in contact with the Kaminoan facilities, he was delayed, thrust into a bureaucratic waiting game by secretaries and officers or outright denied due to the sensitive nature of Cloning being one of Kaminos closely guarded military secrets. He knew he'd had little chance of acquiring it, maybe if he'd gotten to spoke to the Viceroy directly, but, that seemed more difficult these days.

"Excellent!" The Sith Assassin would comment, looking over the motley crew as the ships made their approach into Kaminoan space. "I guess it's time to stow away, make sure you have your warms on, waterproofs and re-breathers are below deck. The next part is probably going to be cold. While those with the sneaky document and code skills work to get through the perimeter clearance." With that he would begin to move towards the underbelly of the ship, it would be up to those who had the skills to get through these defenses, Felix wouldn't be able to handle talking to people, they could record his voice, find him, which would connect him to what was going to happen here if they were found...

Felix would begin to meditate in the smugglers chamber, near the emergency exit hatch, keeping his senses out for scanners so that he could manipulate the wave emission patterns to part around those hiding within the ship seemlessly, not effecting the scanning of their surroundings. This was what he brought to the table, and he hoped it was enough.

"Last thing I expected was to be smuggling myself."

Although the duros now wore a form fitting wetsuit Sly still sported his trademark wide brimmed hat. It was a ridiculous sight to behold punctuated by the way his anachronistic facial hair peaked out over the rebreather. He climbed into an empty cargo crate and made himself as comfortable as possible for their trip through Kamino's shield gate.

"Going comm silent," Kyros deactivated his personal comlink, "Try not to get us killed, Kryze."

Worlds like Kamino weren't usually worth the trouble. Too much security and too little payoff. Something out here in the Rishi Maze was worth a lot of credits. He didn't understand all the science, but Sly didn't need to. He understood enough. Once they made it past Tipoca City's security net the smuggler could help locate and bypass the proper data vault. Until then Kyros was a hired gun just in case.

"I've got a bad feeling about this..." he murmured to himself.

"It's Mishel." She replied shortly. "See you on the other side."

It wasn't the Duros' fault it was a universal habit it seemed to refer to people by their surnames. Mishel's surnames changed far too often for her to care for them. Still, it ruffled her proverbial feathers anytime someone called her by them. "Just hope that between Kurayami and myself we can get you guys in the front door." Really all they needed was to get past the shields, after that, it was just a matter of getting the loot and getting out. One step at a time.

"You're up Bloodborn. We'll need your credentials to get past the first phase. I'll pick up on the second, they'll likely see the old code and there will be a momentary glitch and I do mean momentary." It would be only a glitch if any that might see the shield open up and if so - their pilot was going to take advantage of it, fast. Presumably, it wasn't going to be long before this was attempted and the ship in question would be contacted and so Mishel stepped up. "Hey, I was supposed to speak with someone here, yeah, I'm part of Minister Creed's group. I was looking to speak with someone regarding research here, historical research here on Kamino."

"What's that?"

"Listen, I'm sorry but this is- I can't really hear you on this thing. Look, this busted bucket of bolts has a bad comm. I'm with Minister Creed."

"What?"

Mishel remarked and just added with some indignity. "Well, why don't I go down there, look you can keep me in the lobby. I don't care what's going on here, I was just supposed to talk with some front office person about the history of the planet for my research." A pause and then she exhaled, "well, listen, this research was on continuing Tellu Talon's work. Yes, that Talon, and yes that Creed. I, hey, if you're talking I'm losing you."

The Force Master probably spent the next five minutes with increasing frustration with the poor person. "Fine, get Minister Creed but it's really hard to hear you. Listen just- what's that? I don't know I can't help you there." She was sure the flag on Kurayami's old code went up. Now it was all down to how fast they were about getting past this shield.

While everything was being prepped onboard the 'acquired' transport ship, Kurayami rose from his seat and took a few moments to think of a reason as to why he would be here. Well chit, he really should have done this earlier, but he never had been accused of being overly prepared for a mission to put it kindly. Granted his reputation as being a bit sloshed likely proceeded him so the falsified paper trail could be written off as him working too late one night. The transponder code was easily explained as it was legitimate, just an older one, and he hadn't been to Kamino in quite sometime, but having contacts where he did made that a bit less important as they could vouch that he was no threat to the security of the CIS.

The most important part would be staying out of the line of fire and making it seem as though the getting these people off in his ship was an unhapppy coincidence. The last part was up to them though. Then came the comm from Mishel Kryze.

"Roger that Mishel. See ya on the surface."

As the ship reverted from hyperspace he sent one of the old M4 series astromechs to sabotage couple key hyperdrive components, didnt matter which, then make a list of which replacement parts would be needed. A few minutes later a ping on his datapad showed the list of parts; hyperspace shunt, alluvial dampener, 4-axial stabilizer, and the transpacitor. With its work done the droid whistled happily and rolled back to its charging station. Granted, there were replacement parts onboard but those were well hidden from prying eyes and scanners. He removed his helmet and opened a channel with the control at the shield gate.

"This is Kurayami Bloodborn, look I know the transponder code I'm using is a bit old, its from when I was a Captain in the Starfighter Corps of the Navy sorry about that, but the Exarchs and Vicelord have never seen an issue with it before so I doubt there should be much of one now. Especially since I'm not really here for any big reason. I was on my way to visit an old friend on the Outer Rim and try to work on some boring as chit business, ya know standard stuff really, starfighter contracts, a personal yacht , maybe s smaller ship for their kids or something, I dunno I was honestly a lil' drunk when I got the message.

Anyways, back to why I'm here, my hyperdrive decided it wanted to be a bit finicky and not let me make the last leg of the journey, managed to drop out near here safely and make one more small jump into orbit before the thing totally fried. So If I could get clearance to just land at the spaceport on the surface, I'll fill out whatever requisition forms are needed to get me the replacement parts and I'll be on my way as soon as repairs are done. I ain't leavin the hangar except for the paperwork, or usually that isn't done near where the work is. so whatever science ya gotta do go right on doin' it. If you need to verify who I am feel free to contact any of the Exarchs or Darth Metus himself, they can vouch that I do work for the CIS off the books and am no threat to the nation, or any operations of any sort here. I can just float around while you do that though."

While awaiting the all clear, he let the ship drift, sipping from the flask here and there. In between sips he adjusted the attitude of his ship, using microbursts from the maneuvering thrusters to push ever closer to the gate and set himself up while the system was finding the old transponder code. The palm of his left hand rested anxiously on the throttle fingers reflexively curling over the top and tapping the front plate. Ever so slowly he started to ease it forward, still not enough to be suspicious to control, looking for all intents and purposes to simply be lining up a standard approach vector to the gate. Then came the all clear. It would last only a moment and he knew this would be his one shot as he pushed the throttle to full military power to make his approach the transport becoming a silver streak as it descended, he knew that once the code was flagged it would be seconds or less before the gate closed, this was going to be a close one for all of them. He managed to make it through the gate, he only hoped the transport was close enough behind to make it worth everyone's time.

Peyton was ready willing and able. Kamino was a water world and it had been a fair too long since she was having the chance to live the Life Aquatic. She really needed a red knit beanie, and a blue wetsuit. But black on black with purple would have to do. It at least gave her a little vision in being unique. And the more she found herself away from a properly organized government and intelligence team? Well, the more she was able to be herself. Maybe the Underground was her true calling? Maybe it was, she was able to manifest some Force powers since working away from organized government.

But that was Matukai, it was different.

The next she heard was the operation to landing. Getting in, well, she wasn't flying, she didn't have Cuan here… It was going to pose a challenge. But her mind was focused on the Duros and his wide brimmed at. The Brubreen shook her head. "Y'know…" She shook her head as she started speaking but opted to just see how this was going to play out as she stepped into the cargo container.

"Actually. Is that tied on?" She smirked as she realized they were going through a shield gate. Probably better to hold her breath and be silent. She checked her second rebreather, she had one for her in case she was having issues adjusting to Kamino's ocean, but a second for safety on her team mates. As much as they were.

From the very moment, their vessels entered the system, they were being tracked, logged, and scanned before it had even moved an inch. The Kaminoan fleet hung in the black of the void seemingly unconcerned with the presence of the vessels. That is until the gate opened, the one who had opened it was not one of the clones, but one of the Kaminoan scientists, much to his surprise found himself removed from his seat by one of the clones after the gate opened. Another clone stepped up and immediately closed the gate behind the two ships. A stroke of luck for the would-be thieves.

A different voice came over the comm channel to the two vessels this one gruff and uninterested in reasons, clearly military. "This is Kamino Control, you are directed to platform 33-A. Understand this planet and system are under a military lockdown by order of the Viceroy. Under these procedures you will remain on your ships until you're repairs are completed then you will leave. Anything you require will be brought to you by security personnel."

The clone muted the channel and turned to glance back at another clone. "Better get the General. He'll want to know about this." the other clone moved quickly heading to the office of the clone general within a few moments CG-55118 was standing in the operations center and reviewing the communication logs.

"Send a squad to both vessels, make sure our guests behave, and then promptly leave. Watch them closely." folding his arms the general watched as the cameras adjusted to platform 33-A giving him multiple angles to watch the ships approach. Clones also began to gather at the landing pad.
